Hi Friends, 

October 2020 saw 20 posts going live on my blog as I got some time from my project work for an Australian client. I was hopeful to see myself going there and settling there but it didn't happen as I kept waiting for the opportunity but the VISA restrictions didn't allow me to even start the process. I thought it's better you start working where you have the VISA if you don't want to work and go back to India. Though overall in all this project closure to finding a new project in South Africa took me more than 10 months and due to which all benefits like home rent, insurance and many other things were taken away and I had to survive on my savings. Coming out of this, I found that it's always great to be self-dependent on your skills rather than the company you are working for. You should quickly change when there is an opportunity to add some layers to your salary. 

1. #HuaweiWatchGT2e @HuaweiZA Watch - Is it really Smart? #ProductReview - I received this Huawei Watch for review and used the same for some days. I didn't love the watch that much as compared to the features of the Huawei Watch GT2 but I received a brand new one at the end of the year 2020 and it's been showcased on my wrist since Jan-21 this year. 

2. Unboxing @CanonRSA #CANONeosM50 Mirrorless #vLogging Camera #LiveForTheStory - I started my youtube channel and started shooting a lot of videos to be shared on my channel. I also thought that to increase the SEO of the channel, I should share them on my blog posts too. This post is part of that exercise and I am still using the Canon South Africa EOS M50 Mirrorless Camera with kit lens 15-45mm. I got this camera last year in May 2020, just before I shifted houses. I only opened the same in my rented flat thereafter. 

3. Gadgets I Own @SonyElectronics #SRSBTV5 Bluetooth Speaker #SonyAudio #ProductReview - Sony Audio products are awesome and during the launch of the James Bond movie SKYFALL in 2012, I was participating in a lot of Twitter contests in India. This awesome Bluetooth speaker came as a prize and is still better than most of the speakers in terms of audio quality. The size and design of this speaker are amazingly unique and great. 

4. @FujiFilm_SA X-T30 #NewLittleGiant #XT30 Mirrorless Camera #ProductReview - Fujifilm sent their X-T30 mirrorless camera for review and I did some photoshoots with the same. I really love Fujifilm products and their unique retro design. The price of these mirrorless products is equivalent to or more than the mid-level DSLR cameras but they offer portability and are lightweight with full features to take your photography to the next level.

5. @ORICO_Official #2588US3 2.5" HDD Enclosure #ProductReview 

@AstrumAfrica #AstrumEN250 2.5" SATA HDD Enclosure #ProductReview - I also did review some of the HDD enclosures I bought for some of the small hard drives coming out of my laptops. I posted the product review directly on my Youtube channel which you can watch them too.

Introducing #LinkimalsSA Llama - Lights and Colours #FisherPriceSA @FisherPrice - My kids got some assignments with Mattel and Fisher-Price products to check out their products and I was blogging about them. Some of the money I made last year was through some of these assignments. Thanks to Mattel South Africa for the same.

October 2021 - I am waiting for some gadget which I am waiting for since August-21 and can't wait to receive the same. I am not so sure when I will get it but I am looking forward to the same. I also got my South African Driving License card and had a wonderful trip to the Northern Cape which was my first one to the area. Totally loved that part of South Africa and there are some great unexplored national parks that need an SUV to travel for sure.

Hi Friends, 

September marks the start of the Spring season in Johannesburg, South Africa and everyone wants to spring clean their mind, body and spirit along with stuff lying around in their house and office space. As I was working from home since the last year so there has been a lot of reduction in paper waste as no printouts are taken unnecessarily from the office and no newspapers are being read so suddenly a lot of paper waste has been reduced. The only paper waste is in the form of payments slips and bills along with the invoices or delivery notes on the courier packages. I was collecting some of last months bills and only on 1st Sep I threw them out and it was a pile of paper. So everyday cleaning is necessary if you are not going to look at it afterwards as then it wastes a lot of your time checking which one you want to keep for claims purposes and which you don't want.

I totally loved using them and now my wife is using them. If they are able to survive my wife's mishandling then they can survive anything. Last I checked they were working fine so it's a solid product for day to day use from 1More Africa. Highly recommended if your budget is not high and you want a good quality product. 

2. @InstaxA #miniLink Smartphone Printer #InstaxSA @FUJIFILM_SA #ProductReview - https://www.thelifesway.com/2020/09/thelifeswayreviews-instaxa-minilink.html - Instax Portable Cameras and printers are very popular in the youngsters and I also loved this miniLink which allows you to print your smartphone or DSLR images in high quality on an Instax film. I totally loved creating them using the built-in templates in the smartphone app provided with this printer available to download from Apple Store and Google Playstore. This is one product I have my eyes on to get whenever it's on sale. 

3. #TheLifesWayReviews - @Lenovo_Africa Thinkbook 13s #LenovoThinkbook13s #ProductReview - https://www.thelifesway.com/2020/09/thelifeswayreviews-lenovoafrica.html - Lenovo sent their thinkbook for review and it was really a powerful device to enjoy. I really loved using the same for two weeks. 

4. Hot New Soft Drinks From #MoFaya @MofayaDrinks - https://www.thelifesway.com/2020/09/hot-new-soft-drinks-from-mofaya.html - South Africa has some new cold drinks launched under the Mofaya brand name and I am still using the face mask given by them. Cold drinks were finished in no time during the last year's lockdown.

This is my 2401th blog post and soon by the time we celebrate our 9th anniversary of TheLife'sWay, we will have 2500 blog posts. September starts with the birthday of my little one who is now going to become a teenager in 1-2 years and already have a love-hate relationship with me based on my responses of her asks. This is really difficult as now I need to focus on her to take care of her and don't waste my time on things that are not giving anything in return like press releases posts which are not bringing me any benefits. Let's focus on bringing the best in you by going back to school and relearning all the techniques to study and work on all the skills which can help me for the rest of my life. 

1. #TheLifesWayReviews - #Technology in #Shuffle Mode Play in MP3 Players - This remains one of the biggest pain points to date as the Shuffle keeps playing the same songs again and again. It can be in the car entertainment system, iPod, and even the music player in smartphones. Maybe the software developers in any of the audio players' sector will be working on the same currently or there must be some audio player which can help me in this feature. 

2. A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Sep 2018 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay #PhotoYatra #1800thPost - Last year it was my 1800th post but now I have reduced the same to just less than 1500 posts and more I will reduce in the days to come and only keep those written by me and none of the press releases anymore on my channel. It doesn't matter to me if the traffic is coming to my channels or not as I am enjoying all the content I can create in my limited time here on Planet Earth. This will be my 1455th blog post just as a reference to how much I will reduce them from here.

3. #TheLifesWayReviews - The Spy @NetflixSA Mini-TV Series #Thriller #TrueEvents #TheSpy - I really love watching Web series and this one was really great which was based on the true events of a Spy who really sacrificed himself for the love of his country and saved thousands of lives in the process. Netflix alone doesn't offer a range of series as most of the people completed all the favorite ones during this lockdown and started looking for other OTT platforms too and now a lot of companies in India are offering all the OTT platforms contents as a part of the packaged deal if you take their fiber network connection which is really good. 

In September 2020, I have finally reached the 2x speed to listen to audiobooks reducing the time to complete books in a faster format. What I observed is that you do need to keep listening to the particular sections of the book or may be referred to the paperback or kindle editions after listening to the same once. Maybe I can write a blog post or shoot a video explaining what I learned during the process of lockdown and achieving all my goals which I always wanted to do.

Hi Friends,

July 2020 marks the 40 years of my existence on the Planet Earth and what a time to celebrate the same with the family within the structure of not able to go anywhere, not able to invite someone, not able to get any gifts or so and everything you are doing is for yourself. I also took time to clean out all the old stuff from my own collections along with taking out more than 600 posts from my blog for all those brands who are not part of my life now or have given me no benefits in the past too. The process is still not complete and will continue in August and September till it's as fresh as Spring Clean. 

I could not do any of the blog posts during July 2020 as I got into a new project for Australia from South Africa and the time difference is too much. The coordination between the various team in three separate continents is taking up all the time I have. I kept thinking about all the posts I should do and can do but the energy levels kept me to cover the sleep I need to take to be fully awake for the job. Another aspect was that I am not earning any money from all this extra-curricular activity so the priority got reduced automatically though I am passionate about all the social media aspect and sharing my knowledge and skills. 

After taking out all the posts, ironically in the month of July 2019, only 1 post remains to belong to Prima Toys launch event which I really enjoyed. They always have a kind of annual event in the month of July as Christmas in Summers but this time they changed the name and invited us for a lavish lunch. 

@PrimaToys Launches #Fortnite #BattleRoyale Figurine Collection #PrimaToys #BringingTheFUN - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/07/primatoys-launches-fortnite.html I am not a Fortnite fan but I really loved the toys with all the details and the ability to replicate the video game in real life with these small figurines. Last I heard they became really popular amongst all the people who collect this kind of stuff. 

I kept thinking about whether to write this post or shall cancel the series altogether but then I thought that this is something which helps me connect the dots and also I shall start a new series to take you through all the recent courses, books and audiobooks I read and found valuable during the month. Soon I will start sharing about all those online courses I keep attending either on Youtube, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, Coursera and SkillShare from time to time.

Again this time of the year I have taken a connection for some time and going through the stuff I have not seen between the last year and now.

2. #TheLifesWayReviews - Chopsticks - #Movie #Drama #NetflixOriginal @NetflixSA #Bollywood - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/06/thelifeswayreviews-chopsticks-movie.html - I really loved with comedy-drama movie starring Abhay Deol and Mithila Parker. I don't think we have seen Abhay after that in any of the other movies. I recently saw Mithila'a another movie named Karwaan but that was more popular because of the Irrfan Khan and recently Bollywood lost him to cancer.

Last year, Canon and other manufacturers like HP also entered the industry with their own instant film cameras and printers. 

4. P(hone) In On Your Holiday @HuaweiZA #HuaweiP30Series #RewriteTheRules #MobilePhotography - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/06/phone-in-on-your-holiday-huaweiza.html - P30 series of smartphones was the talk of the nations around the world and this time on Friday they virtually launched the P40 series of smartphones without the Google ecosystem due to recent restrictions placed on Huawei by the US government. Though in a small amount of time, Huawei has come up with its own HMS Core and HMS Apps in the Huawei App Gallery and recently launched a competition for developers to earn around USD 300k in prizes by submitting their apps. I also attended the launch virtually but somehow was not able to win any of the prizes from the launch event which was worth more than R500k. 

5. #TheLifesWayGoals @HuaweiZA #MTN702WALK #Target25km 28Jul19 - Week 4 #HuaweiWatchGT - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/06/thelifeswaygoals-huaweiza-mtn702walk.html - This post is more of a product review of Huawei Watch GT as compared to the preparation of the race. I really loved using the device but there were several missing technologies in this version of the watch and soon they launched the second version which resolved many of these issues and still in the market. I am still using my Huawei Watch GT but the straps have broken during my April 2020's 180kms walk using the device.

May is one of the months where the blog business picks us really fast as you get to review a lot of products and you try to match the fast pace of new product launches. Also, with me I take a lot of time thinking about the product rather than putting it into words and my focus levels was not sharp too in that month in 2019 but then also because of sheer determination, I could achieve a lot of self-written posts on my blog. 

1. #TheLifesWayReviews @SamsungMobileSA #GalaxyNote8 Phablet #Smartphone #DoBiggerThings #WithGalaxy - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/05/thelifeswayreviews-samsungmobilesa.html - I bought this smartphone when I completed 10 years in my company and at the birth of my son in 2018 and I am still using this as my main device. Now in May 2020, the Samsung Note 8 smartphone gets switched off at battery capacity of 30% meaning it only works from 100% to 31% battery levels. Let's see how much longer I can hold on to the same. 

2. #TheLifesWayReviews @SonyElectronics SRS-XB31 #Bluetooth #Speakers #HelloSonyZA #srsXB31 - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/05/thelifeswayreviews-sonyelectronics-srs.html - Sony Electronics sent me this speaker to review and I totally fell in love with the flash lightings on the entire body of the speakers. Sony audio needs no introduction at all. 

3. #TheLifesWayReviews @BodyGlove Airstream #Bluetooth Earphones @Gammatek #bodyglove #GammaTek - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/05/thelifeswayreviews-bodyglove-airstream.html - I received these Bluetooth earphones to use and review but sooner than later these were not working at all and got a second piece and that too broke in no time so that was the end of this model for me.

#TheLifesWayGoals @HuaweiZA #MTN702WALK #Target25km 28Jul19 - Week 3 #HuaweiWatchGT - The biggest project undertook last year was preparing myself for the 25km walk on my birthday with the help of Huawei Watch GT and Sony Headphones which was with me for a month or so, I wrote several posts from the planning stage to the final achieving of the goal. Thanks to Huawei for sponsoring the Watch GT which is still on my hands and clocked 180kms walk in April 2020 but the loops broke that month and I am on a jugaad to put a rubber band to hold the watch. 

I will do a lot of review posts in May 2020 too and let's finish all the pending ones asap and clear my mind of all the clutter it is causing because of not able to finish these posts.

3. #TheLifesWayReviews - Delhi Crime @NetflixSA TV Series #Crime #Drama - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/04/thelifeswayreviews-delhi-crime.html - Delhi Crime is based on the 2012 Nirbhaya Delhi case whose criminals were hanged till death this year in March 2020.

Hi Friends, 

May 2018 saw the maximum number of blog posts for 2018 on The Life's Way with 61 in a single month which was last done in the month of April 2016 with 62 blog posts. But this year I am taking it slow and steady and not doing anything for anyone for free. If I am getting something from the brands, then only I am doing the posts else I will write my own blog posts on whatever topic I love to write on. I have been a fool to do all those posts for all the brands which will never call me to their launch events or send me anything on any of the occasions to keep and I am no longer interested in collecting stuff which I don't want like pen drives and cheap unbranded headphones.

Simple Travel Tips to Make Roadtrips More Fun @Hasbro #GrabAndGo #Games - http://www.thelifesway.com/2018/05/simple-travel-tips-to-make-roadtrips_2.html - Hasbro has been a consistent partner for The Life's Way as it continues to send their latest games for my daughter and she loved this Grab and Go series too. Hasbro sent Jail goodies (Monopoly Board Game) including a cheap metal handcuff which my daughter used to held my father's hands and it didn't open as easy as it should and she put it tightly which caused a lot of stress in the family.

Product Review - @XPG_Global EMIX I30 #WiredEarphones #Gaming Headset @AdataTechnology - http://www.thelifesway.com/2018/05/product-review-xpgglobal-emix-i30_23.html - Adata Technology launched their XPG EMIX I30 3D earphones and I got the opportunity to review and keep the same and I totally fell in love with the same. I am still using them when I want to hear something good and in my own zone. Thanks to the brand for the same.

4. Movie Review - @Avengers: Infinity War #AvengersInfinityWar @SterKinekor @TheMallofAfrica #MARVEL - http://www.thelifesway.com/2018/05/movie-review-avengers-infinity-war.html - Avengers Infinity War is an amazing movie and it was the best first part of the movie and after watching the new Avengers: Endgame for 182 minutes, I feel that the first version really brought that curiosity and the eagerness to watch the second part. Russo brothers have been able to do that and break all the records with the second part. Go watch it if you have not!

It was a great run and I really shared all my life stories which happened with me due to this blog. I am really grateful to The Life's Way for everything it keeps giving me.

A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Apr 2018 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay

Hi Friends, 

April last year was a month full of new product launches and amazing new events to attend and visit too. Avengers was the talk of the season and Game of Thrones was being missed in April 2018. This year though is one of the best as Game of Thrones is back with its last run along with Avengers: Endgame breaking all movies records along with some great sporting events in sight and IPL 2019 in full run along with Rand Show 2019 as well as Indian Elections to choose the new Prime Minister. This month was kind of big for me as I won myself my first Instax Camera at their SQ20 launch event social media challenge.

Avengers: Infinity War Breaks Records #SouthAfrica @Disney @Marvel #AvengersInfinityWar - http://www.thelifesway.com/2018/04/avengers-infinity-war-breaks-records.html - Avengers Infinity War an awesome watch at the Mall of Africa, though the pizza at Pizza Hut was very bad and uncooked. It kept me dizzy throughout the movie that day with an upset stomach even though I just had 2 pieces out of 8 in the large pizza. What I have observed over the year since that time, Pizza Hut is not consistent in their pizza making, sometimes it's too good and sometimes it's pathetic. It happens alternately and I don't know whether I shall keep going there or change to some other pizza makers. 

2. @HuaweiZA Reveals The Future of Smartphone AI Photography #HuaweiP20pro #SeeMooore - http://www.thelifesway.com/2018/04/huaweiza-reveals-future-of-smartphone.html - Huawei makes awesome camera smartphones and I have been a fan since the time I saw P8 but as it happens, I only got to use the P20 Pro as my day to day smartphone. This phone is amazing and I am totally in love with the same. Even Huawei recognized me as their Top Photographer for January 2019. 3. Your License To @rAgeExpo Goes on Sale Soon #rAgeExpo2018 - http://www.thelifesway.com/2018/04/your-license-to-rageexpo-goes-on-sale.html - rAge Expo is something which I love to visit since the first year I came to Johannesburg in 2013. Last year in 2018, I won myself an MSI Gaming Keyboard which came along with Lucky Mascot Toy too. I really loved the same and at the event, I got Pixel Pals from @ChaniZA in one of her giveaways at the show. What I have observed is that you shall visit the show on both the first day and the last day for sure. 

4. 12 Days To www.TheLifesWay.com 5th Birthday Celebrations #5YearsofTheLifesWay #27Dec2017 #Pride - http://www.thelifesway.com/2018/04/12-days-to-wwwthelifeswaycom-5th.html - It shows how difficult is to write your own book and how long does it take to tell a story, so if George R Martin is taking time to release his next novel in 'A song of Fire and Ice' series it's understandable. My 30 days post was still left with 11 posts in the month of April 2018 and I don't think I will ever take this series ever again till I am a regular writer of the blog posts. I am working on the same now with one step at a time or one post at a time. 

5. @DEFY_SA Believes In Better For #SouthAfrica #FutureLegends #FCBarcelona - http://www.thelifesway.com/2018/04/defysa-believes-in-better-for.html - Defy launched their new products and new association with Football Club Barcelone to choose some players out of South Africa and train them too. I am not aware of the final participants and where are they now. All these programs are good for the community to give them hope but shall take the person to a certain stage in life. 

Let's see who wins the elections in India and in South Africa. The world will book their seats for Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and let's see how India and South Africa performs this time and I sincerely hope one of them will win the same.
