New Year Resolutions - Week 01 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

Hi Guys,

I feel so lonely without these posts as it also gives me an insight into my own life as we keep forgetting it on a weekly basis. I generally don't remember what I did and what I will do in the next week, so having a placeholder or the light tower to guide me on the path to the right is always good. Also, you people can help me with the accountability aspect as well as now I will have to regularly post and share what I did with my time on Planet Earth. Let's begin with the Year 2023 and some changes in our posts that will be introduced as and when it becomes clear in my mind and thoughts.

1. Happy New Year 2023 - We came back from Mauritius tired on 31-Dec-22 and spent most of the time sleeping and resting. The new year started with prayers after bathing and post that I created some YouTube Shorts. I thought that I would post a daily short in Jan-23. We went to Laudium to eat Dosa at VimalRaj Restaurant and totally loved the taste.

2. Tasks - A lot of tasks were on my mind including the time spent standing in the queue for License Disk renewal so I brought the form one day before from Benmore Gardens and then went again in the afternoon to get it done. Now it's sorted for a year and there is no tension. Another action item on my list was to submit all the medical bills pending to be submitted to Insurance in the amount of more than ZAR 13k. Hence, I did that too and now will await the return of money after the 10% copayment charges deductions. I also changed both the wipers on the car's front window. I bought them from the BOSCH store for ZAR 580. I also got the gas cylinders refilled as both of them were empty and we were left without any tea or food and now we don't have an electric stove to rely back upon. Also, as we were not home for the last 2 weeks, we had to go on groceries and veggies shopping as well. I generally buy veggies from Randburg Wholesale Market and found them to be the cheapest there providing value for sure.
New Year Resolutions - Week 01 Achievements & Failures #TheLifesWay #2023
3. New School Season - My daughter went to high school so it was time to stand in the queue for a new school dress including a blazer and stationery items for her. We went around the city for the same in search of them from Woodmeads to Sandton. She never told us the full list and kept adding stuff to buy that I then bought from Makro, Pick n Pay and Checkers too.

4. Data Transfer - Most of the time was spent on transferring the data from almost full laptop memory capacity to the new 5TB HDD I bought. I made the same as my YouTube videos and thumbnails data dump hard disk so all the digital data related to the category went into the same. It gave breathing space for the Photography HDD I have (3TB) and also the day-to-day Seagate SSD (500GB). This is one of the tasks that need your attention on a daily if not a weekly basis for sure. This is an activity that's totally hectic and takes a lot of attention as there is a chance that your digital data can corrupt because of connection breaks or memory failures or automatic shutdowns of the laptop in between. Check out the unboxing video -
5. Entertainment - I watched the 3rd season of Jack Ryan on Prime Video and totally binge-watched it. The story is not as fast-paced and thrilling as we saw it in the earlier seasons. It's always difficult to beat the first season for any web series and so is the case with this one as well. Not many web series have been able to beat their first season and sometimes the team divides it into 2 portions so that people are curious and wants to watch the second part knowing that if they release the same as the first one the whole series is going to be marked as a flop for example Lupin.

I think the most number of views are in these weekly blog posts and since the time I stopped writing them the views on the previous weeks have risen quite a bit. Hence I am starting the new year's weekly posts too so that you can get to know a little bit more about me and my decisions and actions.

Cheers!!!

The ‘Kunlun Spirit’: The Tenacious Innovation Story Behind @HuaweiZA #HuaweiMate50Pro Glass Display

Hi Guys,

The first smartphone to obtain SGS five-star glass drop resistance certification

With the recent launch of the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro in South Africa, reviewers and tech enthusiasts everywhere have been buzzing with excitement about the smartphone’s futuristic features, such as the Iconic Symmetrical Space Ring design and the Ultra Aperture XMAGE camera. In addition, the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro also introduces the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass display, one of the phone’s most exciting features.

Surveys reveal that half of the industry’s after-sales maintenance cases are related to cracked or broken screens. A simple crack on the glass is often enough to warrant a repair or result in the replacement of the entire screen, middle frame and even the battery. And so HUAWEI engineers created the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass - to resolve this pain point.
The ‘Kunlun Spirit’: The Tenacious Innovation Story Behind @HuaweiZA #HuaweiMate50Pro Glass Display
Engineering wonders of the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass
After years of uninhibited exploration and bold risk-taking, HUAWEI’s engineers took on a new challenge to create an invincible glass like no other. Now, with the launch of the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro, the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass is ready to be enjoyed by users all over the world.

In developing the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass, HUAWEI engineers were inspired by the robust features of reinforced concrete structures. Further research revealed that the load-bearing walls of traditional buildings could maintain a stable structure even if the surface was damaged after adding a strengthening layer.

To apply the same technique to smartphone screens, they figured out a way of introducing a large number of nanocrystals into the glass, to form a dense supporting structure to improve the resistance. Thus, the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass coating consists of 10 quadrillion nanocrystals, made possible by composite ion strengthening, 24-hour nanocrystal growth at high temperatures, a 108-step micro-crystalline matrix material and panel processing techniques, and 1 600℃ platinum smelting technology, which boosts the durability of the glass.

Thanks to the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass, the drop resistance of the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro has now increased 10 times. As a result, the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro has become the first smartphone to obtain the five-star glass drop resistance certification from Switzerland’s SGS.
Putting the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass through its paces
Several local Friends of the Brand have tried to push the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass to its limits. Some have been seen on social media using the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro to smash walnuts, while others have repeatedly thrown the phone onto concrete floors - and yet the phone has come out unscathed, time after time. Unsurprisingly, videos of the unsuccessful destruction attempts have garnered thousands of views. Nadia Jaftha / Cindy Mahlangu / Natasha Thahane

The tenacious spirit of innovation
The road taken towards the development of the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass - like the path to summiting a mountain peak - was neither simple nor smooth. The HUAWEI team was met with repeated setbacks during the research and development process, including challenges related to strengthening the type, number, and size of the nanocrystals. It was only through their resilience and resourcefulness that they were able to push through.

Eventually, the team successfully mastered the formula to control the type, quantity and size distribution of crystals inside the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass, as well as solving the ceramic’s material strength and optical matching issues.
The ‘Kunlun Spirit’: The Tenacious Innovation Story Behind @HuaweiZA #HuaweiMate50Pro Glass Display
A phone to enhance your lifestyle
Besides the HUAWEI Kunlun Glass, the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro comes with a host of other features that represent a major step forward in smartphone aesthetics and technology. This includes the symmetrical Space Ring Design, the intricate, eye-catching Clous de Paris step-patterned embossing design, and the versatile Ultra Aperture XMAGE camera.

The XMAGE camera brings you photographic qualities that are the epitome of HUAWEI’s technical expertise in mobile photography, with incredibly pleasing colour reproduction and lighting effects. At the same time, the unique Low Battery Emergency Mode allows for more power to be drawn from the battery, safely and without harming it, when the battery reaches 1%Na charge, while the SuperStorage feature helps you store significantly more personal data on your smartphone. All in all, this fantastic phone really is geared to enhance your lifestyle in so many ways!

The HUAWEI Mate50 Pro is priced at R24 999 for the 256 GB and R26 999 for the 512 GB and can be purchased at the HUAWEI online store or selected retail stores.

The #HuaweiMate50Pro: SuperEnergy Boosting Technology Powers During Emergency @HuaweiZA

Hi Guys,

The Low-battery Emergency Mode provides you with extra power and therefore extra time

The current iteration of the flagship series, the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro, boasts an Iconic Symmetrical Space Ring Design, an astonishing Ultra Aperture XMAGE Camera and ultra-reliable performance, in addition to visionary Super Device features spearheaded by HUAWEI’s mobile operating system, EMUI 13.

In addition, the new smartphone also features a super handy feature called the Low-Battery Emergency Mode. This is a power-saving mode that is built on a large battery with powerful EMUI 13 algorithms and a SuperEnergy boosting technology. Activated during low battery conditions, this feature allows for more power to be drawn from the battery, safely and without harming it.

Innovative Low-Battery Emergency Mode to prolong battery life – safely
Battery life is defined as the amount of time your device runs before it needs to be recharged, and sufficient battery life is crucial for any phone user. Unfortunately, due to aesthetics and portability-related requirements, most smartphones are limited to a battery life of one to two days, which, while being arguably a reasonable amount of time, is nonetheless not always ideal.

There are certain steps you can follow to maximise your smartphone battery life - for example, avoid charging or leaving your mobile device in hot environments, including direct sun exposure, for extended durations. In addition, with the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro, you can take advantage of the Low-Battery Emergency Mode. The feature combines a high-specification battery with EMUI 13 algorithms and SuperEnergy boosting technology and is designed to keep up with the needs of the fast-paced lifestyles of today’s users, as well as expand the scope of what they can expect from a smart device.
The #HuaweiMate50Pro: SuperEnergy Boosting Technology Powers During Emergency @HuaweiZA
The Low-Battery Emergency Mode on the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro intelligently activates SuperEnergy boosting when your smartphone battery level falls to 1% – rescuing it from rapidly depleting completely. Basically, when the phone has only 1% battery left, the SuperEnergy boosting feature is intelligently activated, in turn aggregating the remaining battery, which provides the user with invaluable extended standby time on the smartphone.
The SuperEnergy boosting feature, which comprises energy accumulating pump technology, can re-polymerise the remaining ions in the battery through a special and very thin ’straw’. This enables the phone to be used for a period of time even after the ’off power is realised. What’s more, it is safe, as follows: it meets the certification range of HUAWEI’s charge-discharge cycle; is within the normal safe discharge range of the battery; and complies with industry standards.

Emergency Mode to keep your smartphone running in a crisis
Whether you are in an emergency situation or you simply want your smartphone to conserve power for as long as possible, the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro SuperEnergy feature has you covered. You no longer have to deal with the frustration of losing connectivity with friends and family when your battery suddenly and finally goes flat. With the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro, when you see your battery level drop to that dreaded 1%, the SuperEnergy boosting feature kicks in to aggregate the residual power.
The #HuaweiMate50Pro: SuperEnergy Boosting Technology Powers During Emergency @HuaweiZA
Under this Low-Battery Emergency Mode, your phone is able to sustain three hours of standby time or 12 minutes of calling. Not to mention, it does all this without causing damage to the battery lifespan. This brings you multiple benefits.

Firstly, you can be assured that every last viable volt in the battery is put to good use in case you need to make an emergency call. Secondly, the 12 minutes of calling time provide you with the ability to make emergency calls - including being able to provide information over the phone to emergency responders and the like. You will also have more time to get your smartphone to a power source to recharge it before the battery is completely dead.

The HUAWEI Mate50 Pro is now available in Orange, Silver and Black and can be purchased from selected retail stores or the HUAWEI online store. The smartphone is priced at R24 999 for the 256 GB and R26 999 for the 512 GB.

Cheers!!!

Fujifilm Opens New Head Office in South Africa @fujifilmxsa #myfujifilmsa #InstaxSA

Hi Guys,

Fujifilm's Head office, located at 18 Holt Street, Sandton, marks a new chapter in Fujifilm’s presence in South Africa. It houses the Fujifilm Technology Centre Africa to showcase the latest healthcare, large format printing and camera products.

Fujifilm South Africa has officially opened its new local head office, located at 18 Holt Street, Sandton, Johannesburg. The grand opening of the newly constructed building was attended by several local dignitaries, international Fujifilm management as well as the Japanese ambassador to South Africa, His Excellency, Shigeru Ushio.

The opening of the head office coincides with Fujifilm South Africa’s ten-year anniversary celebration in South Africa, having first opened its doors in March 2012 as a subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation.
Fujifilm Opens New Head Office in South Africa @fujifilmxsa #myfujifilmsa #InstaxSA
At 999m², the five-storey building incorporates the Fujifilm Technology Centre Africa, office space for employees, boardrooms, a Fujifilm repair centre and a 30-seater auditorium for training purposes.

Speaking at the grand opening of the new head office, Fujifilm South Africa’s Managing Director, Taro Kawano noted, “Today is truly a special occasion in the history of Fujifilm since it marks a new chapter in our relationship with South Africa. Our new head office emphasises Fujifilm’s ongoing commitment to the country, having celebrated a successful decade of local presence. We are proud to be a part of South Africa and we hope to be able to further serve the public through these new premises.”

Beautiful outside, innovation inside
Importantly, the South African head office was constructed to fall in line with FUJIFILM Holdings’ climate action targets: To produce net zero CO2 emissions by the fiscal year ending March 2041. The 18 Holt Street office is set to meet this goal, having been designed with the help of a green energy consultant. As such, it incorporates the use of solar power panels with a capacity of 65 kVA, biometric access control, motion sensors, day/night lighting and energy-efficient plumbing that consumes less water.

Fujifilm’s head office in Johannesburg was designed by Empowered Space Architects and follows the opening of a new Fujifilm office and repair centre in Cape Town in 2021 and the building of the Fujifilm warehouse in Roodepoort in 2017. The offices were constructed by Bantry Construction, with the building taking place from March 2022 through to handover to Fujifilm at the end of January 2023.
Fujifilm Opens New Head Office in South Africa @fujifilmxsa #myfujifilmsa #InstaxSA
Present at the new office is the Fujifilm Technology Centre Africa, which moved from its previous location at the Fujifilm warehouse to the new premises. It is the only Fujifilm Technology Centre on the continent, taking up two floors and providing a demo centre for Fujifilm’s different departments to showcase a myriad of innovative solutions to customers.

This includes products from Medical Systems (radiography, mammography, pathology, X-ray diagnostics), Graphic Communication (wide format printing, packaging, commercial digital and commercial offset), as well as Imaging Solutions (Instax instant cameras and printers, Fujifilm X-series and GFX mirrorless cameras).

Moreover, a 30-seater auditorium now gives Fujifilm South Africa the opportunity to offer product training to customers, run photography workshops and the ability to host events.

The start of a new chapter
During the opening ceremony, Kawano thanked all parties involved in the process. “This beautiful building is a testament to the hard work of everyone who contributed. It shows what can be achieved through team effort and dedication. Fujifilm South Africa is proud to now be able to better serve our South African customers and contribute to their growth,” he stated.
Fujifilm Opens New Head Office in South Africa @fujifilmxsa #myfujifilmsa #InstaxSA
Kawano mentioned he believes Fujifilm can play a significant part in the future of South Africa, not only through innovative printing and imaging solutions, but also in contributing to African healthcare through Fujifilm’s medical technologies. “At Fujifilm, we say ‘Never Stop’ innovating for a better world, and now, at 18 Holt Street, Sandton, Fujifilm South Africa can continue to strive towards this goal. We are looking forward to further decades of local success,” Kawano concluded.

Cheers!!!

Benefits of Card & Number-play for Kids @Mattel #Uno #UnoFlip #UnoAllWild

Hi Friends,

It would be challenging, if not entirely impossible to find someone that has never played a card game. Card playing is one of the oldest and most traditional pastime activities for all ages. They have not only proven to improve motor and cognitive skills in children but also encourage hours of family fun as well as multiple therapeutic benefits when used by Play Therapists.

The earliest reference to card playing took place in China in the 10th century, but there is no record of how the cards were made or how the games were played. Though history has it that Italy and Spain were probably the first European countries where cards were played, these cards were hand-painted and therefore regarded as luxury items only available for the rich.

Since then, the cost of card production was reduced significantly and their availability and popularity only grew, making them favourites over other traditional games.

Benefits of playing with cards
Although playing cards is a good way to pass the time and is not only entertaining but also relaxing, there is a whole list of hidden learning opportunities for children as well as cognitive stimulating opportunities for the elderly. In fact, recent studies have shown that playing cards with children have an entire series of educational and emotional benefits.
Benefits of Card & Number-play for Kids @Mattel #Uno #UnoFlip #UnoAllWild
Card games can help children develop their motor skills
Dexterity and eye-hand coordination are practised by playing, manipulating, shuffling, and sorting cards during a game. A simple action of holding a few cards in a small hand can help young children develop motor skills. The ability to move quickly and easily can also be developed in card games such as Skip-bo where a player must simultaneously place, draw from a deck, and hold cards during the game.

Card games can enhance cognitive skills
There are many cognitive skills triggered by playing card games. From memorising to matching numbers, pattern recognition and the promotion of more complex mathematic concepts can all be promoted in one game. Increasing levels of difficulty can also practice a child’s ability to focus longer and concentrate better. Planning skills are triggered when the game allows for the opportunity to find different ways of winning as most card games allow some room for new, as well as more experienced players. In that way, the play can be extended for many years as little children can play with the help of an adult in the early years and progressively develop into independent players as their skills develop. Skip-bo is a game where the basic skills of counting and concentrating are cognitively stimulating without being too challenging for the very young or the elderly.
Benefits of Card & Number-play for Kids @Mattel #Uno #UnoFlip #UnoAllWild
Card games foster emotional intelligence
Card games allow children to take part in healthy, friendly competition in the safe, familiar environment of the home. Achieving the goal of winning or experiencing the despair of losing are both feelings that can be processed by the players. Patience and fair play can be fostered from early on and card games are beneficial to do that. All card games require communication, negotiation, taking turns, comprehending rules, and challenging each other. These skills and character traits can all be practised with something as simple as playing a game of cards.

Benefits of colours and numbers on cards
Research studies recently showed that the pairing of numbers during a card game significantly improves the ability of children to recognise, show and mention number symbols. Numerical comparison, colour or shape-matching card games were also shown to improve a child’s numerical identification skills, as well as how to compare the value of the symbols. It’s fair to say that parents can confidently assist their children to learn fundamental mathematical concepts such as number recognition and comparing by playing games such as Skip-bo.
Benefits of Card & Number-play for Kids @Mattel #Uno #UnoFlip #UnoAllWild
Play therapeutic benefits of number card games
Therapists working with children during play therapy often make use of card games to have fun and build a therapeutic relationship or to facilitate a process whereby children can learn, express, and grow emotionally. Typically, card games work so well for relationship building as the act of card playing is safe, playful, and familiar to most children. It helps them to relax in the therapy session and “open up” with less inhibition.

There are many ways in which the numbers and colours in card games can be utilised during psychotherapy for children. Slight changes to the original card game can offer opportunities to make use of certain colours or numbers to allow children to answer certain questions pertaining to specific feelings. For example: if you place a red card on the table you need to think of a time that you were angry, while a blue card might allow the child to talk about a time when he was sad.

Numbers on cards can be used to teach new skills. For example: If a child pulls a number 3 from a deck of cards, they should think of three ways to relax during a time of stress. Or number 3 could answer the third question from a different pile of emotion cards that are offered at the same time. Card games can even be used during online play therapy with children.

With so much social distancing, staying-at-home periods during this pandemic, as well as online therapy now becoming a reality, cards might as well top the list for good old fashion social, emotional and cognitive stimulation. It may be the cheaper and healthy alternative to electronic games and offer an excellent opportunity to limit screen time.

Cheers!!!

Digital Transformation is Nearly a Teenager by Rebatho Madiba @BCXworld

Hi Guys,

It’s been just over ten years since digital transformation became an integral part of the business environment, writes Rebatho Madiba, Business Development Digital Platform Solutions at BCX, but as it grows older, is it meeting expectations?

In 2015, the World Economic Foundation identified six megatrends that were set to change the face of business and society and every single one was aligned with the concept of digital transformation. From how the internet would become a social and physical extension of people’s lives and experiences through computing and storage everywhere to the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) and the digitisation of matter, these trends are now an inherent part of society today.

Some of these trends have already reached significant milestones, and others are expected to achieve their tipping points – a critical point that results in unstoppable change – over the next few years. One such milestone is the mega-trend of people and the internet, where their interaction with the web becomes a ‘mental, social, and physical extension of themselves’, is expected to reach 80% of people with a digital presence on the internet by 2023 with the tipping point in 2025. Today, 59% of the world’s population uses social media and enhances their digital presence through online platforms and connections, and this is only set to become more immersive as trends like the metaverse continue to gain traction.
Digital Transformation is Nearly a Teenager by Rebatho Madiba @BCXworld
Driven by the pandemic and the need for people to find innovative ways of working and connecting online, digital has become as much a part of daily life as cars and shopping. It has reshaped how people communicate and collaborate and it has supercharged productivity and performance. In the 1980s, communication was in person or by post. Today it’s faster than a thought. Organisations can’t afford to be left behind which makes 2023 an opportunity to focus on platforms and technologies that empower people from anywhere and that ensure their online presence is always on. This is where solutions that provide access, data networks, wireless and unified collaboration capabilities are key as they enable the industry and fulfil online requirements through omnichannel applications.

Another megatrend, one that’s now so commonplace in boardroom discussions that it’s hard to imagine a business without it, is that of compute, communications and storage everywhere. The tipping point for this technology is anticipated to be in 2025 with, as cited by Statista, just over five billion people on the internet as of April 2022. This highly connected population has seen the radical and accelerated transformation of online experiences which has, in turn, driven the need for scalable and elastic computing power that can be accessed from anywhere, and that can deliver on demand.

Moving forward, applications and services will only get hungrier for data and capability. Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 technologies and innovations will have to be rendered from highly reliable and flexible platforms and quantum compute is very likely to bring physics into computer science to create devices and environments that are minute – that optimise space and capacity. Moving forward, companies need to collaborate with service providers that offer a wide spectrum of cloud and computing solutions that can directly address their challenges and help them overcome obstacles impacting on their scale and productivity. This is particularly true of the challenge of data sovereignty that has inhibited many companies, especially in Africa.

IoT has, of course, been a part of the IT landscape for a long time but has only recently started to deliver on the promises it made when it first entered the business landscape. Today, the number of IoT-connected devices worldwide is expected to reach 29 billion by 2030, says Statista, and is at 13 billion as of 2022, according to the IoT Industry Council of South Africa, IoT is expected to reach an installed base of 21.5 billion active and connected devices by 2025 in this country. Add to this the connected realm of the metaverse and the megatrends of compute and people, and you can see how IoT is about to become an integral part of the metaverse and thriving business operations.

To fully realise the potential of this technology, companies should ally themselves with partners that have a proven IoT track record and that can empower them with technologies that are appropriate for their industry and niche. This could be Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions that drive visibility into the oil and gas pipeline through to IoT within retail and automotive logistics that translate customer experiences and vehicle monitoring through intelligent IoT applications.

BCX has this proven track record across all key mega trend touchpoints and has proven value in its applications and solutions designed to help organisations reshape their investments into AI, automation, machine learning and compute. With our support, you can fully realise the potential of digital transformation as it stands today – a more mature and far more powerful entity that can fundamentally refine your growth and operations.

Cheers!!!

Easy Tips to Maintain Your Smartphone Battery #NationalBatteryDay #NokiaPhones #HMDGlobal

Hi Friends,

In celebration of National Battery Day on 18-Feb-2023, HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, shares easy tips to maintain your battery life.

Hold back on 100
Always charging your phone to 100% when using a high-voltage charger can put a strain on your phone’s battery. Pulling the plug at the 80-90% mark is a good idea, and you ideally always want to keep your phone’s battery between 30-80%. This will increase the lifespan of the battery.

Switch off your location
On Android phones, you can either switch off your location/GPS completely or block certain apps from tracking your location. See Settings > Apps in order to check what apps are using your location and switch these off.

Avoid exposing your phone to extreme heat or cold
Extreme cold temperatures can drain your phone’s battery faster. Keeping your phone at room temperature where possible, will ensure the battery lasts as long as it can.

Charge your phone during the day
If you want to keep your phone’s battery healthy, charge it during the day and not overnight. When a phone is left plugged in, the battery will start to drain again. Once the charge level drops below a certain threshold set by the manufacturer, it will charge straight back up again. Ultimately, this can speed up the battery degradation, so you may end up finding that your phone ends up at 0% quicker than when you first bought it. If you do charge your phone at night, make sure it is not covered up e.g., under a pillow, as this can overheat the battery which will also worsen its performance over time.

Get into the mode
There are a variety of settings and modes that have been designed to help you conserve battery on Android devices, look out for:
  • Adaptive battery limits battery for infrequently used apps.
  • Battery Saver restricts power-consuming activity automatically to save power. You can choose to optimise certain settings such as auto-sync.
  • Super Battery Saver mode to extend your battery life even further – you can even choose where exactly the energy savings are made, so you can still access key features that are needed.
  • Turning your phone on dark mode can also make the battery life last longer throughout the day, as less power is needed to keep your phone’s display brightness. See Settings > Display in order to access this.
Keep your phone up to date
Installing regular Android updates can help fix battery drainage issues. Sometimes software bugs can cause unnecessary stress on your battery. When this happens, developers release bug fixes for these issues through operating system updates. By keeping your phone up to date, you'll always have the latest bug fixes, battery mode enhancements, and performance improvements.

Keep track of battery health on your Nokia phone with the My Device app
My Device app is a one-stop shop for checking your Nokia phone’s health. Simple diagnostics include battery health, storage space, device temperature, and data use. It’s all designed to help your device live longer. My Device App > Battery Health> Open battery management.

Cheers!!!
