New Year Resolutions - Week 25 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

Hi Guys,

Week 25 has been the week where I started walking once and hopefully, it will continue for the rest of the year as well. Also, the Yoga Day for 2023 is planned to happen this week at the Wanderers Cricket Stadium so it's going to be great day with family and friends.

New Year Resolutions - Week 25 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

1. Thank You - The count started from 2000 onwards to reach 55000 and then the counter again went back to zero or got reset. The whole exercise is bringing all the great things of life to me as this month the blog has really picked up and this is getting to a point where it will reach more than the maximum pageviews in a single month and crossed 4.1 Million pageviews. The last time I reached was in July-205 where I reached 123026 pageviews in a single month. This was due to the fact that I won the Grand Finale Winner of the Samsung Blogger Challenge. I am sure this month I am going to break this record and also set a new target for the future to achieve.

2. Yoga Day - Yoga Day has been the consistent effort of the Indian Government for the last many years since 2014 when it came into existence as a whole. This year PM of India went ahead and celebrated the same in the United Nations where there were more than 190+ countries representatives who participated in the Yoga to be part of the Guinness Book of Word Records for most nationalities participating in the activity in New York.

It was a great event which was really planned well in Johannesburg, South Africa by the Consulate General of India and their team members. We met a lot of friends, colleagues and made new ones as well at the DP World Wanderers Cricket Stadium. Also, the party continued till the time all stalls were packed up and then the party shifted to one of our friend's house and continued till late night.

3. Healthy Efforts - I did take the Vitamin B12 injection after a long while as I felt down in my daily energy levels from the past many months. It really helped me to gain some level of high energy levels if all your iron and vitamin levels are fine. It really helps if you are eating pulses, green vegetables and fibrous products.

4. Social Media Campaigns - I got paid ZAR 500 for one of theSalt video campaigns and as I told you in my previous post that cash is king. I also won a gift voucher at Yoga Day for ZAR 1000 for the Yoga posts competition on their Facebook page. I also got some YuLife gift vouchers from ZAR 500 with which I also bought some stuff which will be showcased in the future on my YouTube channel as well.

5. YouTube Shorts - I am soon going to cross 1 Million views on my YouTube channel as well. It just needs a little push and I will cross the same. If you have not seen the channel please do and you will find something for sure amongst all the 1100 videos (600+ Shorts) available on my channel. I also applied for Rain One where I am getting 2 SIM cards with some data and talk time to play with as well. It's the same amount of charges I was paying for my 100Mbps connection but R40 less now to pay.

Overall, it was a week of meeting people and enjoying their company. Sometimes the random meetings go into becoming long conversations which will really bring out the best in all of us.

New Year Resolutions - Week 24 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

Hi Guys,

Week 24 was the most awaited because the Adipurush movie was getting released and a holiday was also there on 16 June 2023. It was also my mom's birthday as well during this week. Also The Life's Way crossed 4 Million Pageviews on www.thelifesway.com which is a huge achievement considering it's my efforts to post on a consistent basis from the last 10.5 years without any help so it's just my passion that's making me move forward.

New Year Resolutions - Week 24 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

1. Entertainment - I watched the Adipurush movie and didn't like the twists as the storyline is totally different from what we have seen in our childhood. If the story could have not been inspired by the legendary religious texts then they could have a superhero story like any of the Marvel comics movie. The only best part was the song Ram Siya Ram which I can listen to in a loop a hundred times. I also watched the new movie on Netflix Extraction 2 and the action sequences were awesome in the same. The storyline is not that great but the train action sequence took my breath away.

I also watched Indiana Jones and Crystal Skull on the Disney Plus streaming platform in anticipation of the new Indiana Jones movie getting released soon called Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny that I still have to watch. I love the character and the fast storyline with a lot of mysterious adventure and thrilling climax buildup.

2. Goodies - I received a surprise gift from Nokia as I got Nokia 105 feature phone that has the Snake game built into it. I also received the payment of R450 for the Humanz app for one of their Twitter campaigns. It's always a great time when you get paid for your social media influence whatever the cash is earned as cash is king.

3. YouTube - I crossed 2100 subscribers on my YouTube Channel during this week. It's always great to keep moving forward towards your goals and soon we will reach the Silver play button. A strategy is needed to earn the same as we may have to work on trending topics as well.

4. Thank You - I started from 45000 onwards to reach 69000 counts and then the same got reset. Again after restarting, I reached the 2000 count.

5. Kainchi Dham Sthapna Diwas - 15th June is the Sthapna Diwas at the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram near Nainital and a lot of people go to the place to get blessed by the Lord Almighty. I also got interested in the same and saw a lot of live videos on YouTube from the lines of people who were capturing every aspect of the festival. This is the same place where Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg and many others went with their problems and got sorted to reach the heights they never saw before. I wish the same for myself too in the coming years.

I thank each and every one of the readers of my blog that helped me reach 4 Million pageviews on the blog. I am really thankful to all the brandses during the course of the last 10.5 years and though I have taken out some 500-600 blog posts from my blog which were not evergreen and now I have a focused content strategy to only promote those brands who helps me earn a lot of money or are available for trade exchanges. I don't want stuff that I won't use so cash is always a better way of collaborating. All the best to me!

New Year Resolutions - Week 23 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

Week 23 is now in full swing as there are some of the new smartphone launch events as well as some of the new gadgets to get introduced to. I feel thankful and grateful to the brands which value me but don't like if they don't give me importance like I give them by creating content using their products or about their products.

1. Launch Event - I was invited to the launch event for Vivo V27 5G and Vivo V27e Smartphones. This time they have chosen some of the influencers who already had the phone available to them. Last year I did a lot of YouTube Shorts for Vivo from their launch event but despite that, I was not the chosen one. I received the phone the same week it was launched for two weeks but was not allowed to take the same to Zambia. It was an opportunity missed by the brand for sure. They also had a creative manager whom I tried contacting and he knew me as well to my surprise but he was not interested so I left the conversation and took the goodies bag and came back home immediately after. Thereafter I even rejected the interview requests as they didn't fetch more than 20-30 views in the whole year since the last year's launch event.

I also received the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 which I won during the NDA event for the Galaxy S23 smartphone. It took a while but I felt great to be receiving any gadgets I can make Youtube videos on. I also returned the Samsung Galaxy A54 that I received to review.

I also had a meeting with the Deli Stationery country manager at their office in Johannesburg CBD. They gave me some of their products that I made videos on my channel but I think they didn't like my content and I have not received any further comms from them to date.

2. Thank You - I started from 13000 onwards and reached 45000 counts by the end of the week. This is the best exercise I can do on a daily basis. It frees me from all the negativity and thoughts that really are not the best for me.

3. Entertainment - I watched the Fast X movie and it's a one-time watch. I now have forgotten the story of the same as well. I think the series needs to now take a break but there are so many ensemble cast that they can continue forever till they live or even after that using the AI tools and green screen.

4. YouTube - I have stopped doing 5 Shorts on a daily basis since the start of June 2023 and the growth has not slowed down for sure. I have reached 2080 subscribers on my channel. I have taken a break as I was getting mentally stressed due to the same. It takes a lot of time to make and work on creating content all the time.

5. Stationery Videos - I have been posting a lot of stationery items from pens to other fancy products and more are going to be posted in the coming months as well. Let me know if you are interested in watching this type of content. I am really thankful to all the brands that exist and create a lot of videos on the same. I am not creating to get views as I don't do trending videos at all. I don't even get views on these types of videos which is not going to get me even some cents from Youtube adverts but I love creating the passion I have for the stationery items since childhood. I have spent a lot of money all my life on these items which I could have spent enjoying with friends or eating things I wanted to.

Sometimes I think of quitting all this but then you need to have a thick skin and can't leave a dream because some people are not aligned with your future goals. The Life's Way was not created for someone but it was my dream passion project and despite all the good and the bad times it will continue. I have lived my life with a lot of internal and external struggles and have accepted that this is part of the same coin. You have to continue living the life and my life has been the Life of Pi as I was born on 22/7 i.e. 22nd July and Pi as a number has infinite potential and never ending or fully divisible and so is my life.

Hi Guys,

This is going to be the final week of the month of May-23 and so far I have been great in being consistent to post 5 YouTube shorts every day for this month. I got 209 new YouTube subscribers because of this effort with more than 150+ shorts on my channel. Some performed and some didn't but at least they can pick up sometime in future as well. That's the only hope I am living on that someday one of my videos will go viral and I will get the Silver Play Button from YouTube on my wall.

New Year Resolutions - Week 22 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

1. Entertainment - It was the week of the TATA IPL 2023 Finals between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. It was an entertaining match till the last ball and it was great to see Dhoni lift the cup once more to match Mumbai Indians 5 times being the winner of this tournament.

I also watched a nice simple movie Kacchey Limbu which is about a gully cricket team being formed and how the team gets to the finals finding their lifepath along the way. Radhika Madan stars in the movie along with Ayush Mehra and Rajat Barmecha.

Then I was eagerly waiting for the ASUR Season 2 and watched all the episodes on the 1st of June. The ending is again kept for the possibility of another season but this season also tells the story of the antagonist in detail. It's a one-time watch but as seen the first season brought a lot of thrill which I can't say about the second one at all.

2. USA Dreams - My brother and sister-in-law got their US Passports after spending all their life on different continents. It was really great news and I totally loved that they got what they wanted but after a lot of sacrifice, struggle and effort along with the money spent on the same.

3. YouTube Shorts - I completed 155+ short videos for this month and crossed 2050 subscribers on my channel. Thanks to YouTube Shorts for taking me past 200+ subscribers in a single month of May 2023. The last time I crossed 200 subscribers was in the month of May 2022 when I did 207 in a single month. This time it was 209 subscribers in a single month. Thanks a lot to everyone who likes my kind of videos and shorts.

4. Thank You - I started from 1500 onwards and reached 3000 when the counter again reset to zero. I started again and reached 15000 and then again the counter reset to zero. I again started and completed the week at 13000 counts. This to-and-fro mechanism on the counter is not good as I really want to finish the 100000 in a single go. The continuity is really good and you should also adopt this habit of being thankful all the time.

5. Travel - I have a travel that's on my mind and I have already booked the tickets to Zambia at the end of the month. I really love watching the new spots and then sharing the same on Google Maps and recently I crossed 65 Million photo views on my profile with more than 17000 photos and videos shared for the general public across the world interested in visiting South Africa.

There are a lot of things I do without any real benefits to me like sharing photos of various locations around the world. I am really grateful to the universe for everything that is being granted to me by the Lord Almighty Shiva. I now am living my own life without any external pressure and I need to think that I don't want all the things or gadgets of the world. I have limited time left on planet earth and I can only take so much as I need to take care of the stuff I own as well. Let's live stress-free, worry-free with the resources we already own and try to make the best use of the same and enjoy them as well. The things I don't enjoy using will be then gifted to my near and dear ones if they want to own them.

Week 21 started with touching the 2000 YouTube subscribers I had aimed for many months. So Grateful to everyone who chose to give my channel a subscription and you can too as it's completely free.

1. Launch Events - I was invited to Samsung's Bespoke Design Challenge Winner announcement at Design Quarters and what a setup Samsung South Africa has designed to entice customers before they make their own unique den using the Samsung range of products from TV to Fridges to Microwave to Washing Machine and Gas Cooking Station. The colour combination on Samsung Bespoke products can match the colours of your choice and even the microwave colour was matching and I totally fell in love with the setup. You can check out my IG page for photos from the same or visit Samsung Lifestyle Experience at Design Quarters in Fourways. I also posted a lot of photos on Google Maps as well.

I met the Director of WriteSpoke and he showcased to me some of the luxury stationery products available at his online store and his passion towards the Fountain Pens. He is an avid collector himself of inks and fountain pens along with great paper or notepads to write on.

I also got the legacy of Mr Derek whose daughter sold me his Mont Blanc collection of inks and some other fountain pens that I am going to use in the future. The fountain pens will be my first time using Gold Nib pens and becoming an owner of the same to carry Uncle Derek's legacy forward.

There is a quote in Hindi - Bhagwaan jab data hai chappar phaad kar deta hai and that came true as I went to Stationery Expo and got so many pens and other stationery products that I can even last them for my whole life without even buying a single pen myself but as you know me, I will definitely buy the ones I love and intend to collect. In English, it means when Almighty God blesses you with something then you won't be able to hold it in your arms and house as it will be so much in abundance.

2. Entertainment - I was eagerly waiting for the Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai movie starring Manoj Bajpayee. The story is based on a lawyer who is fighting against a religious guru who was caught by law for doing sexual assault on his followers. It's really a movie you will like and I totally liked the same as one man fights against everyone despite people being bought using force or money or shot.

3. YouTube Shorts - As I told you earlier that I was going 5 shorts per day and this has helped me grow my subscribers at a fast pace. From 1997 to reaching 2043 by the end of the week was never possible earlier without YouTube Shorts. A YouTube Shorts event was also there which I attended virtually and there was a YouTube Listen event as well with some of the upcoming artists or big singers who are choosing YT Shorts as a platform to go live and launch their song.

4. Thank You - I started the counter again and reached 40000 before it again came back to zero. I started again and reached the 1500 mark to finish the week. I am adamant about completing my 100k for the month despite the counter not agreeing to the same. Human courage and willpower are much more than any machine for sure.

5. Salary - This is a one-time event every month which I want to have more than once in my day-to-day living. I want to earn some more cheques, money transfers, EFTs, and cash flow so that I can also enjoy the luxuries of abundant life has to offer. I don't look at the price tag for buying what I want to buy. I can get the gadgets I actually want to use and products I want to write with like the Mont Blanc 149 Fountain Pen which is still beyond my salary reach. This can only be acquired if I get some promotional work completed or get some advertisements on my social media channels. Hands folded as for Lord Shiva nothing is impossible! Cheers!!!

Building on leading-edge sleep and wellness features, the Galaxy Watch6 series now offers an in-depth analysis of Sleep Score Factors – total sleep time, sleep cycle, awake time, plus physical and mental recovery – to help users understand the quality of sleep received each night. More individualized Sleep Messages, co-developed with the National Sleep Foundation, also provide users with detailed feedback about their sleep health each morning. Additionally, Galaxy Watch6 offers Sleep Consistency showing how consistent the user’s sleep and wake times are, and a designated Sleep Animal Symbol representing their sleep type.

Enhanced Sleep Coaching enables users to put sleep insights into action with tailored instructions, tips and reminders accessible on both their wrist and paired smartphone. When it’s time for bed, Galaxy Watch6 can help set the perfect sleep environment by automatically changing the settings of connected home electronics and turning on Sleep Mode across the user’s watch and phone8 to mute notifications, dim screens, and even activate the invisible LED infrared sensor on the watch to deliver valuable health insights without additional light distractions.

Fitness features get more personalized to keep users motivated throughout their journey. Body Composition, with key physical measurements like skeletal muscle, basal metabolic rate, body water and body fat percentage, provides a complete snapshot of the user’s body and fitness, offering a tailored approach to set goals, track progress, and guide through personalized fitness and now nutritional tips via a new partnership with Whisk.

And Fall Detection can gauge a fall, whether occurring during exercise when standing still, or even while sleeping if users happen to fall out of bed. Maximizing Your Experience Right from Your Wrist

The Galaxy Watch6 series brings greater capabilities to the wrist of every user. The new Samsung Wallet on Galaxy Watch6 combines Samsung Pay with Samsung Pass to incorporate more of the user’s wallet – including IDs, event tickets and boarding passes as well as credit cards and membership cards – in their watch. Enhanced Gesture Control allows users to conveniently manage their watch using simple gestures for greater accessibility and ease, letting them set their own shortcuts and now access apps and functions touch-free.

WhatsApp makes it easier for Galaxy Watch users to stay connected with friends and family, all without getting out of a phone. Starting this fall, users can stay productive right from their watch with new apps from Google Calendar and Gmail, which will be exclusively available on Wear OS. They can also track fitness progress or nutritional data more easily with Peloton and MyFitnessPal updates, and coming soon, enjoy additional streaming options with Audible. Additionally, with the introduction of a new Skin Temperature API – a part of Samsung’s Privileged Health software development kit (SDK) – partners will soon have access to advanced infrared technology for more accurate measurements to bring a whole new world of possibilities to users. A newly launched Thermo Check app takes advantage of the new API, allowing users to measure the temperature of their favourite meal or the ocean before a lap swim, contact-free.

A Wider Variety of Recycled Materials in More Components

Earlier this year, we expanded our innovative use of recycled materials in product design with the Galaxy S23 series, introducing new materials to more components. The Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5 advance these efforts, featuring a wider variety of recycled materials1 in more internal and external components than previous Galaxy Z series smartphones. The newest foldable smartphones incorporate pre-consumer recycled aluminum and post-consumer recycled plastic sourced from discarded fishing nets, water barrels and PET bottles. They also scale our use of Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2, which contains an average of 22% pre-consumer recycled glass content.

Not only did we add more types of recycled materials used in each device, but we also more than doubled the amount of device components that use a minimum of 10% post-consumer recycled plastic or pre-consumer recycled glass, or an average of 22% pre-consumer recycled glass. Both the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold52 use recycled materials in 15 device components, an increase from 6 internal components in the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Fold4.

When it comes to packaging, we continue to advance our efforts to reduce the presence of single-use plastic. That’s why the paper for the packaging box3 is made using 100% recycled material4. We also switched to recycled paper material for the front and back cover protector.

A Device Lifecycle that Lasts Longer

The Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5 continue Samsung’s work to optimize the longevity and improve the upgradability of our smartphones. Each device comes with five years of security updates and four generations of OS upgrades, helping to extend the product lifecycle.

As a result, we hope that the Galaxy community can reliably enjoy their devices for a longer period of time, while enabling them to make eco-conscious choices in their daily lives.
