A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Sep 2019 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay #PhotoYatra

Hi Friends,

September starts with the birthday of my little one who is now going to become a teenager in 1-2 years and already have a love-hate relationship with me based on my responses of her asks. This is really difficult as now I need to focus on her to take care of her and don't waste my time on things that are not giving anything in return like press releases posts which are not bringing me any benefits. Let's focus on bringing the best in you by going back to school and relearning all the techniques to study and work on all the skills which can help me for the rest of my life.

1. #TheLifesWayReviews - #Technology in #Shuffle Mode Play in MP3 Players - This remains one of the biggest pain points to date as the Shuffle keeps playing the same songs again and again. It can be in the car entertainment system, iPod, and even the music player in smartphones. Maybe the software developers in any of the audio players' sector will be working on the same currently or there must be some audio player which can help me in this feature.

2. A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Sep 2018 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay #PhotoYatra #1800thPost - Last year it was my 1800th post but now I have reduced the same to just less than 1500 posts and more I will reduce in the days to come and only keep those written by me and none of the press releases anymore on my channel. It doesn't matter to me if the traffic is coming to my channels or not as I am enjoying all the content I can create in my limited time here on Planet Earth. This will be my 1455th blog post just as a reference to how much I will reduce them from here.
A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Sep 2019 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay #PhotoYatra
3. #TheLifesWayReviews - The Spy @NetflixSA Mini-TV Series #Thriller #TrueEvents #TheSpy - I really love watching Web series and this one was really great which was based on the true events of a Spy who really sacrificed himself for the love of his country and saved thousands of lives in the process. Netflix alone doesn't offer a range of series as most of the people completed all the favorite ones during this lockdown and started looking for other OTT platforms too and now a lot of companies in India are offering all the OTT platforms contents as a part of the packaged deal if you take their fiber network connection which is really good.

In September 2020, I have finally reached the 2x speed to listen to audiobooks reducing the time to complete books in a faster format. What I observed is that you do need to keep listening to the particular sections of the book or may be referred to the paperback or kindle editions after listening to the same once. Maybe I can write a blog post or shoot a video explaining what I learned during the process of lockdown and achieving all my goals which I always wanted to do.

Cheers!!!

@HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview

Hi Friends,

Huawei sponsored me this Huawei Watch GT Active (46 mm) last year in May 2019 when I planned to practice and walk the 25km in the MTN Walk The Talk 702 Race in the month of July 2019. I felt great and very happy to be getting this brand new Huawei Watch GT at that time and started using the same immediately. I was able to finish 29kms on the day of the race from the car park to and fro and then attended a birthday party and going to the office the very next day without any trouble. All thanks to the guiding force in the form of Huawei Watch GT. The watch has been with me since that time and only once in its whole life since that day failed me during the Jacaranda Spring Walk for 15km in Pretoria where it crashed at the 14th kilometer and my whole journey was not synced at all to the smartphone.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
The first few days using the Huawei Watch GT
As you all know that I was using the Samsung Galaxy S2 Classic before that which I bought from Incredible Connection cyber sale and slowly the parts starting to come off and I did some jugaad to continue wearing it. Thanks to Huawei for providing me with a new watch that people not only loved but also wanted to take from me. I totally love wearing the 46mm version which looks really cool and fills your wrist and people do notice the same too. Let's check out the various features of the Huawei Watch GT Active.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
The first thing I admired the same is the actual watch after opening up the package which has the watch with the silicon strap in orange color and a Type C charging cable and charging cradle with 2 points and magnet to fit the correct side of the watch when placed on the same. It was the first time, Huawei provided me a brand new sealed or mint condition product and I felt great after all these years of posts and reviews for their products.

The second factor was the amazing battery life of Huawei Watch GT which would totally last me for more than 14 days when I am not measuring the walks or putting the GPS ON but as I used the same to walk every day with GPS ON then the battery life come down to around 7 days and still is giving me more than 5 days of performance when I walk more than 5-6 km daily. It can be 100% charged in around 90 minutes or so. Sometimes the GPS on the watch is not able to detect the actual locations during the walks and add up those straight-line marks when you check your walk or run on the smartphone Huawei Health app. It gives you extra miles without adding any extra time to your walk making your goal appear overachieved.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
The third factor is the strap and watches dial which really looks cool in the Orange colors. The body of the watch is just 46 grams without the straps which are made from metal, plastic, and ceramic. My watch is in Titanium Grey Stainless Stell version whereas there are Black Stainless steel and normal stainless steel versions also available. The screen size is 1.39 inches with AMOLED display. The strap is made of some Fluoroelastomer material which doesn't give my skin any kind of irritation to date. Though I have to clean the back daily using a soft cloth as some kind of white material sediments around the circular sensors spot. I also regularly wash the band using the soap to make it clean as dust gets deposited in the slots of the straps. The strap is of topmost quality I have ever seen in all the bands and watches I have used since Jawbone UP, Fitbit, Samsung S2 Classic, Xiaomi Band, Huawei Band, etc in the last 7 years. Only recently the band of the straps broke after a year of usage in the month of April 2020 when I did 180kms of walk in a single month - my best performance ever in my life.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
The fourth factor was that this watch is water-resistant up to 5 ATM which I never tested as I don't swim and never took it to shower. I don't want to risk the only thing I have new and once it goes to any of the repair centers it costs a lot of money to repair. I totally loved that the watch is equipped to measure your Oxygen intake and burn capacity measured using VO2Max and also measures your Aerobic Training effect after every exercise and tell you also how much time your body needs rest before your next workout.

There are several other small features that I totally love like covering the display with your palm and it gets turned off which comes handy in the night along with when you swing your hand towards your face the display lights ON to show you the necessary details. The barometer and the altitude meter features are an added advantage that I tested when I was at the highest point of South Africa at around 2150 meters above sea level on the road near Lydenburg Mountains towards Sabie in Mpumalanga, South Africa.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
The factors which I didn't like in the Huawei Watch GT was that it doesn't have any music player built into the same which the Samsung Gear S2 classic had along with a 4GB of memory whereas Huawei Watch GT has around 700 MB of space to install Watch faces which also was limited when I got the smartwatch but then it only allows you to install 15-20 watch faces. Now the Huawei App market has expanded and there are several new watch faces coming on a daily basis.

The second factor was the inability to interpret that you have already started jogging or running etc as you have to specifically press certain buttons on Huawei Watch GT whereas it was automatic in Gear S2 Classic. Gear S2 seamlessly measures without even thinking about switching to any mode and it will measure your performance using AI but Huawei Watch GT has to be put on a certain mode using the buttons on the side of the watch and then it saves your walks in the walk category and runs in the run category as per your command. But still, Huawei Watch GT is not able to measure the floors climbed no matter how many stairs you are climbing but it will tell you the elevation gain in meters. The stress test is shown in the app but there is no functionality in the Watch GT to perform the same.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
The last factor is the Huawei Health App which is not advanced where you can add your friends and challenge them. It will give nice stats to show on your stories and posts but you can't earn points etc. Though you can get medals by finishing certain milestones it just looks like coins and nothing fancy about the same. Samsung Health is way advance in this matter where you get monthly targets to achieve and levels to cross. You can add all your friends using the Samsung ecosystem and challenge them and beat them to earn extra points and cross new levels.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
Overall, I am very happy with the Huawei Watch GT which is not as smart as it looks but then there are always new versions coming from the Huawei range of products. I did not receive the Huawei Watch GT 2 at the launch event which has a lot of disadvantages I mentioned taken care of with music player built into it and various other things which I can only check if I use the same. Huawei gives out these watches when you buy any of their smartphones so be prepared to receive the new versions of the watch when you are due for an upgrade and opt for the Huawei Watch GT smartwatch. SHADAA @PrimeVideoIN #Punjabi #Comedy #Movie

Hi Friends,

Shadaa means someone who is having trouble finding a wife in Punjabi language and that's what the whole movie is about and this is one of the best Punjabi movies I have watched and this one is 2nd top-grossing Punjabi movies (1st being Carry on Jatta 2) of all times. The irony is that the total revenue of the movie is just equal to the first-day performance of any Bollywood movie by Aamir, Salman, or Sharukh Khan and from the recent times from Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan called WAR.

Shadaa is written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu (Nikka Zaildar fame) and stars Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa in the lead roles. The movie was released on 21st June 2019 in cinemas and I watched the same on Amazon Prime Video platform some days back. Sonam Bajwa makes a special appearance in the opening song ''Tommy di Jeans''. Diljit plays Chadta, a wedding photographer who has gone past his 20s and now in his 30s and many girl parents have discarded him as a good groom. It's shown in the movie that they used to have around 45 chickens and are left with only 9 as they grilled and cooked all others to serve it to bride families who visit to see their boy. Ravinder Mand plays Jalandhar who works as an assistant in his photography business.
#TheLifesWayReviews SHADAA @PrimeVideoIN #Punjabi #Comedy #Movie
Neeru Bajwa plays Vanjhali, a wedding organizer but still unmarried due to her own choices and 2 years elder to Chadta. The movie is all about Chadta trying to woo Vanjhali during the various marriage events in Punjab and Rajasthan. The movie does offer a fresh perspective as earlier all Punjabi movie revolves after trying to find an NRI boy or girl to go to Canada or any other foreign countries. This movie doesn't use that theme though the marriage showcased have one of the NRI's involved. She is not given as much importance as the focus is more on the character of Chadta and his family but nonetheless, she brings the beauty and glamour on the screen.

The movie raises many questions despite being comedy on the equality rights between the bride and the groom's families which really touches your heart. Diljit is able to play his character amazingly well and the act with the plastic dolls will make you laugh out loud or maybe rolling on the floor. The comedy is mainly between the Chadta and his parents played by Anita Devgan and Hardeep Gill.  To add to the fire of his family and friends, a Pandit Ji tells that he won't be married in the next 7 births as has 365 marriages in his earlier birth and that's a funny story in itself. There are no extras used to bring in comedy scenes and being the focus on Canon cameras and photography, the photographs are showcased in great light along with several new ideas for pre-wedding shoots.

The movie really offers something unique and the love chemistry is totally amazing between the lead artists and we are seeing them again after the famous Jatt vs Juliet series of films. I totally love Punjabi films and the comedy punches in this one really made my stomach ache due to laughing non-stop. Enjoy the songs and the great locations from the Rajasthan - Jaipur and many other areas. It's the best 2 hours you can spend during any of these days to destress yourself and the best part is that even if you don't know Punjabi, Amazon Prime Video offers subtitles in many languages of your choice. RATING 4.5/5

CONSPIRACIES @NetflixSA #Drama #TrueEvents #Documentary

Hi Friends,

We always have some of the other questions which raise some kind of doubts in our mind. Earlier when there was no Wikipedia or the internet, people used to read about the same in the library in some of the printed books or old newspapers. They will dig deep into all the news articles, encyclopedias, and specific books written on the topics of conspiracies. We are always intrigued by the unsolved mysteries in our lives and our brains are automatically attached to solving those on our own.

Netflix series on Conspiracies showcased 12 episodes 42-44 minutes long on various mysteries that still are open for discussions where people have all kinds of opinions. The List of those episodes are underneath -

  1. Nazis - Has Hitler actually killed himself or it was staged and he escaped?
  2. The Royal Family - Mysteries related to the Royal families and their affairs?
  3. The Cold War - How did it all started and who was behind this?
  4. Disappearances - Looking at some of the famous deaths and disappearances
  5. The Hollywood Files - Various mysteries related to the film industry
  6. Aliens - People claiming to have encountered some kind of mysterious life from other planets
  7. Assassinations - Mysteries surrounding the deaths of JFK, Pope John Paul 1 and others
  8. Murder at the Vatican - Roman Catholic church and the mysteries related to the establishment
  9. Faking the Moon landings - Whether the moon landings were just staged to beat Russia space program?
  10. Pearl Harbour Coverup - Did it actually happened or could have been saved because they got information beforehand?
  11. Drugs, Pop, Punk and Death - Various music artists like Jim Morrison, Rolling Stones and mysteries related to them
  12. The Lockerbie Plot - The mysteries related to 9/11, Pan Am Flight 103 and many others
#TheLifesWayReviews - CONSPIRACIES @NetflixSA #Drama #TrueEvents #Documentary
Each episode covers some of the questions you might have and they will give you both sides of the arguments and keep the discussion open for your brain to further delve into those topics. The series is from 2015 and I watched the same last year but somehow kept thinking should I reveal the plot or what shall I say about all these things. But this is one of the topics that will have different impacts on every brain as someone might have more interest and well-read on certain topics and for the other, it will be the first time. It does open your mind to don't take anything whats showcased to you without any further investigations. Always check and challenge all that's taught to us by our schools and colleges. It's always great to research and digs deep into the topics you find interesting. We now have unlimited resources at hand which can help us in the same venture like the internet and Wikipedia and other sources which can really give us some perspective.

Do check out these amazing 12 episodes and learn a lot about history and how people, countries and governments used it to their advantages? Mark Bazeley is the narrator behind all these documentaries. RATING 3/5

Cheers!!!

#TheLifesWayReviews @DjFreshSA @gobudds #GoBudds Bluetooth Earphones #ProductReview

Hi Friends,

This is one of the first Bluetooth earphones I got long ago at one of the rAge Expo in an around-ear and neckband design and I am still in love with these Budds by DJ Fresh. The motto of the same is to Cut the cord, not the performance.
#TheLifesWayReviews @DjFreshSA @gobudds #GoBudds #Bluetooth Earphones
Using Fujifilm X-T30 camera
These Budds pack the deep bass in a great format within this design and gives a performance of around 4 hours non-stop. After more than 3 years of use, it's not giving that much but works for around 90-120 minutes in a single charge.
#TheLifesWayReviews @DjFreshSA @gobudds #GoBudds #Bluetooth Earphones
The rechargeable battery inside these BUDDS is 90mAh and can be easily charged up to its full capacity in around 60 minutes using the micro-USB cable. The end to end length of the cable is 60cm. The Bluetooth version is 4.1 with a 10m range.
#TheLifesWayReviews @DjFreshSA @gobudds #GoBudds #Bluetooth Earphones
The product was available in two color combinations and I totally loved one with yellow and black.
#TheLifesWayReviews @DjFreshSA @gobudds #GoBudds #Bluetooth Earphones
The Budds audio performance is power-packed by its 10mm Titanium Speaker which gives a solid output in its lightweight body which is also sweat resistance. The package is packed with a small oval case which is made of great material which also has a mesh containing the extra buds and a micro-USB cable to charge the unit.
#TheLifesWayReviews @DjFreshSA @gobudds #GoBudds #Bluetooth Earphones
The left side of the Budds only contains a microphone and the right side has the power button along with volume up and down buttons along with the micro-USB charging point. There is a light on the right-hand side which flashes blue to show the power on and off along with voice commands every time you switch it on and off. The light turns red when the battery is low and also it switched alternately when the Bluetooth is in pairing mode.
#TheLifesWayReviews @DjFreshSA @gobudds #GoBudds #Bluetooth Earphones
Budds also has the crystal clear sound and one of the best I have ever reviewed in any of the devices I own. The earphones also offer hands-free calls using the built-in microphone. The product is out of the market now with the lowest price retailing at OneDayOnly at R279 per piece in 2018.
#TheLifesWayReviews @DjFreshSA @gobudds #GoBudds #Bluetooth Earphones
Budds offer noise isolation using the silicon earbuds and don't fall off even when you are running or exercising. These earbuds are great at producing great audio experience and it's unfortunate that they went out of the market so soon but if you are able to grab the same from any of the Reduced prices sales at any of the online retailers, you can definitely grab the same if you love bass. The value for money the product offers is immense as I have been using the same since October 2016 and still going strong and also I gave these to my wife for her office use and still they survived so it must be an amazing product because last time I gave her my iPod Nano (gifted by my brother on my 26th birthday) and she lost the same within the first 3-4 days of using it. Go buy it if you can find one! Cheers!!! RATING 3.5/5

All the photos are clicked using the Fujifilm X-T30 camera I received for review till 15th June 2020.

SPACE FORCE @NetflixSA #WebSeries #Comedy #Drama

Hi Friends,

Space Force is an American Comedy-drama on Netflix which is currently running and worth every second of your time. This web series was launched on Netflix on 29th May 2020 and is created by Greg Daniels and Steve Carell who plays the lead role as General Mark Naird who is tasked to start the United States Space Force and put the boots on the moon by 2024 by the POTUS. Lisa Kudrow plays Maggie Naird, wife of General Naird and Diana Silvers plays Erin Naird, daughter of General Naird. John Malkovich plays Dr. Adrian Mallory who is Chief Scientist at Space Force. The show is a comedy-drama that plays the fight between the various departments within the US agencies and the fight between the force and the brains. There is always a fight between the might of the brain vs might of the ammunitions. Jimmy O. Yang plays Dr. Chan Kaifang and Tawny Newsome as Captain Angela Ali.

Space Force Season 1 consists of 10 episodes which run for around 35 minutes per episode. The comic timing of Steve Carell needs no introduction and the cast contains many people represented from all over the world. There is an episode where they mention India and Prime Minister Modi that's because of the fact that India is growing to be a superpower and Netflix can't win if it is not able to harness into the Indian Markets of video on demand. The season is launched around the same time SpaceX and NASA are working on the commercial launch of the #LaunchAmerica program to reach International Space Station and it definitely brings the interest of people around the world into a series which is kind of science fiction along with setting the boots on the moon.
#TheLifesWayReviews - SPACE FORCE @NetflixSA #WebSeries #Comedy #Drama
General Naird not only needs to take care of the growing demands faced by various agencies and POTUS but also within his family he needs to take care of. He also needs to fight against the minds and risk-taking abilities of scientists which he thinks are very less as compared to the people in the forces. His way of looking at things is totally different from his team of scientists and sometimes he learns from them and sometimes they learn from him. This web series showcases just the tension between various relationships General Naird has with his various resources at the base camp while he discovers himself too.

The Space Force despite the huge star cast is not binge-worthy as it goes very slow and events are situational and the General then finds his way through the same on a day to day basis at the workplace and in his own family life. It's the story of survival as the Space Force and taking the people on the moon with various variables entering the situations on a day to day basis. The Chinese space program is what Space Force is competing against and it's the same kind of humor American TV series, and movies focussed on Vietnam or Russia or Hitler earlier from Rambo to many other movies by just including new types of social media channels into the equation especially twitter. Overall, if you like to watch workplace tensions in a comedy series based on the mission to the moon without any kind of logic then do watch the same and you won't regret it because Season 2 will also come as they end the Season 1 on suspense and much more to look forward to. RATING - 3/5

@InstaxA #miniLiPlay Hybrid Camera #InstaxSA @FUJIFILM_SA #ProductReview

Hi Friends,

Fujifilm is keeping the world on its feet in the world of Instant Camera and I got the chance to check out this amazing new Instax mini LiPlay which is loaded with some of the great features which were not there in any of the other Instax cameras. I received the same in Stone White color for a two week review period along with some Instax films whereas it is also available in three other colors - Elegant Black, Dark Gray, and Blush Gold.
#TheLifesWayReviews @InstaxS #miniLiPlay Hybrid Camera @FUJIFILM_SA #ProductReview
The first thing is the compact design which is unlike any other Instax cameras as it becomes handier whereas all the others are more about the form factor the world knows and flash it around. The mini LiPlay can be easily put into your jacket pocket or backpack just like any point and shoot camera and the overall weight of the device is around 250 grams without the film pack and memory card. The camera has a button on the front to take the photos along with a special button to record the audio too. The power button is one side along with the function button that can be assigned to your favorite filters. There is a slot for a micro-SD card and there is a charging slot at the bottom of the camera. The back contains a button to open the slot for instant film and as you print the film comes out from the top slot. The device also has the buttons to print, back, and play along with a menu button and circular dial.
#TheLifesWayReviews @InstaxS #miniLiPlay Hybrid Camera @FUJIFILM_SA #ProductReview
The mini LiPlay comes with a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery which as they say on the package to last around a maximum of 100 prints but that is significantly reduced if you are clicking photos on the camera too. The internal memory can take up to 45 photos and can be increased by adding a micro-SD card to the setup. I mainly used the same to print my own photos and mainly as a printer which was really fast (takes around 12 seconds per photo) using the new smartphone app names Instax mini LiPlay available in both Apple Store and Google Play. The camera can be fully charged in around 3 hours using the micro-USB cable.
#TheLifesWayReviews @InstaxS #miniLiPlay Hybrid Camera @FUJIFILM_SA #ProductReview
Another feature that is not available earlier in the special voice notes that you can record which gets printed as the QR code on the photos as per your choice and then the user can decode the message using the mini LiPlay app without even owning one. This has uses in many things from Treasure hunt for kids or adults alike or to send special notes for your loved ones. The brand used the same to launch a contest at the Photo expo where at the activation counter, they were handing films if you got a voice note on your film, you win some Instax prizes. The only thing is taking up some space in your already small Instax prints. This feature takes time to learn as you need to record a unique voice message if you want different messages on every print.
#TheLifesWayReviews @InstaxS #miniLiPlay Hybrid Camera @FUJIFILM_SA #ProductReview
As Instax is a fun camera, mini LiPlay brings more filters and frames to showcase your creativity. There are around 10 pre-installed image frames on the camera and 30 are available on the app. You can easily add up to 3 of your favorite filters assigned into the camera shortcut button. Moreover, it also comes with a remote shooting using the smartphone app which has several uses from group shots to taking photos of your pets in their ecosystem.
#TheLifesWayReviews @InstaxS #miniLiPlay Hybrid Camera @FUJIFILM_SA #ProductReview
2.7 inch TFT color LCD monitor is the display whereas the image sensor is 1.5in CMOS with the primary color filter with around 5 Megapixels of effective pixels. The drawback is that it is a single Autofocus system but don't think of this camera as your regular point and shoot from the house of Sony, Nikon, Samsung, Canon, etc as those are much more advanced systems. This is a fun point and shoot camera with a 28mm focal length and aperture f2.0 which takes good quality photos in bright daylight. I can assure you that I have checked the quality of photos printed on Canon and HP instant devices but Instax films are better quality above all of them.
#TheLifesWayReviews @InstaxS #miniLiPlay Hybrid Camera @FUJIFILM_SA #ProductReview
Overall, Instax mini LiPlay is the best instant camera that can print all your photographs captured with your smartphone or DSLR cameras as it easily functions as a printer. The camera is great when you want to share your group photos with your friends and the prints are easily just at the cost of Instax mini films which is around R150 for 10 and around R300 for 20 films version. Moreover, Instax has so many different formats of films that comes with already installed filters on the paper. I am totally a fan of these printers but now the market also offers Canon ZoeMini S and HP Sprocket and Polaroid Snap Touch. The Instax cameras have an ecosystem that can easily decorate your walls, albums, or even bullet journals. RATING 4/5

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan Season 2 @PrimeVideoIN #JackRyan #Thriller

Hi Friends,

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan is back in Season 2 with more action and a new story of financial transactions encompassing new regions of the world. The whole setup is moved from the Middle East to South America and Europe this time around with the backdrop of economic conditions of Venezuela and how the democracy is slowly converting into a dictatorship.

Jack Ryan played by John Krasinski wears a bearded look throughout Season 2. A series of new characters are showcased in this part as the location was a little different from the last season. Jordi Molla plays Nicolas Reyes as the President of Venezuela and Christina Umana as Gloria Bonalde who is getting popularity of the people as the contender in the upcoming Venezuelan Presidential Elections. Noomi Rapace (The girl who played with fire series fame) as Harriet, a mysterious character that is later revealed to be the German agent. Michael Kelly (House of Cards fame) plays Mike November as the CIA Station Chief in Venezuela and Wendell Pierce reprises as James Greer in this part of the series too.
#TheLifesWayReviews Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan Season 2 @PrimeVideoIN #JackRyan #Thriller
If you have not watched the first season and directly watching Season 2, you will most definitely like this fast-paced season set in Venezuela but if you have watched Season 1, then you will be a little disappointed in this season. Though this one has everything from action, mystery, espionage, breaking from captivity, great locations, tyranny, and other things it's not as great as Season 1. But because of the popularity of the web series, many Hollywood stars are acting in this Season like Arnold Vosloo (The Mummy and Mummy Returns fame) who is a South African actor by the way. Tom Wlaschiha plays the role of Max Schenkel as one of the characters who keep racing from Venezuela to London and Jack Ryan follows him through.

In Season 2, it is difficult to identify who is the real enemy as many countries and companies are investing in Venezuela. Till the end, the web series will keep you on the edge of your seat as Greer gets caught by the enemy and Jack tries to save him using all his might. The season is highly enjoyable if you love the Spanish language as there are so many dialogues in the local language. Overall, Jack Ryan Season 2 is worth binging on Amazon Prime Video and you can watch the same this coming weekend in case not watched till now. RATING 3.5/5

A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Jun 2019 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay #PhotoYatra

Hi Friends,

June 2019 had so much in store from Disney on Ice to various other phone launches and I was using Netflix to watch all the content I have been missing and reviewed it too. Again this time of the year I have taken a connection for some time and going through the stuff I have not seen between the last year and now.

1. A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Jun 2018 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/06/a-memoir-this-month-last-year-jun-2018.html - My whole journey on the blog is specifically told in all these memoirs and whatever I have received is because of this blog. The fame and the name are just because of The Life's Way and I hope I will continue to do something big with the same.

2. #TheLifesWayReviews - Chopsticks - #Movie #Drama #NetflixOriginal @NetflixSA #Bollywood - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/06/thelifeswayreviews-chopsticks-movie.html - I really loved with comedy-drama movie starring Abhay Deol and Mithila Parker. I don't think we have seen Abhay after that in any of the other movies. I recently saw Mithila'a another movie named Karwaan but that was more popular because of the Irrfan Khan and recently Bollywood lost him to cancer.

3. Unique @FUJIFILM_SA @InstaxS #miniLiPlay Hybrid Camera Launched At #PrintLifeSA Exhibition - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/06/unique-fujifilmsa-instaxs-miniliplay.html - Last year some of my photos were showcased at the exhibition by Fujifilm at their PrintLife SA expo held at Sandton City and thereafter they also launched one of the latest Hybrid cameras to take on the instant camera market further. Last year, Canon and other manufacturers like HP also entered the industry with their own instant film cameras and printers.

4. P(hone) In On Your Holiday @HuaweiZA #HuaweiP30Series #RewriteTheRules #MobilePhotography - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/06/phone-in-on-your-holiday-huaweiza.html - P30 series of smartphones was the talk of the nations around the world and this time on Friday they virtually launched the P40 series of smartphones without the Google ecosystem due to recent restrictions placed on Huawei by the US government. Though in a small amount of time, Huawei has come up with its own HMS Core and HMS Apps in the Huawei App Gallery and recently launched a competition for developers to earn around USD 300k in prizes by submitting their apps. I also attended the launch virtually but somehow was not able to win any of the prizes from the launch event which was worth more than R500k.

5. #TheLifesWayGoals @HuaweiZA #MTN702WALK #Target25km 28Jul19 - Week 4 #HuaweiWatchGT - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/06/thelifeswaygoals-huaweiza-mtn702walk.html - This post is more of a product review of Huawei Watch GT as compared to the preparation of the race. I really loved using the device but there were several missing technologies in this version of the watch and soon they launched the second version which resolved many of these issues and still in the market. I am still using my Huawei Watch GT but the straps have broken during my April 2020's 180kms walk using the device.

DJI Osmo Action #OsmoAction @DJIGlobal #ProductReview

Hi Friends,

I received this DJI Osmo Action camera for review for 2 weeks from DJI - Core Group and what a camera it is. I have never used any of the action cameras before and this was my first time ever with this category of cameras. It was during the time of Jacaranda bloom when I had this opportunity to test the capabilities of this action camera. The video is live on my youtube channel.
#TheLifesWayReviews - DJI Osmo Action #OsmoAction @DJIGlobal #ProductReview
DJI Osmo Action has a built-in battery that helps you to take videos on the go and directly competes with the famous GoPro range of products. I really loved the front screen which is really helpful in case you are doing some kind of vlogging and selfies. I took the Osmo Action for a cycle tour when I went to to the PWC Bike Park and did some cycling there along with my daughter. I also took the shots of the earthen Diya on the occasion of Diwali or during those days and the camera became too hot as it was kept almost at around 6-12 cms away from the same and it shot non-stop for around 6 minutes 45 seconds in low-light conditions.
#TheLifesWayReviews - DJI Osmo Action #OsmoAction @DJIGlobal #ProductReview
Let's check out the configuration DJI Global has been able to pack up in this 124 grams of technology. The front screen is 1.4 inches with 300 PPI and the back screen is 2.25 inches with 325 PPI. The camera sensor is 12 megapixels and the device is capable to take 4K videos at various frames per second and on the lower edge, it can take 720p videos with equal grace.  The device is also capable to take slow motions, timelapse and HDR videos. You can put a micro-SD card up to 256 GB for capturing all your stills and videos. The rechargeable battery is Lithium Polymer with 1300 mAh capacity which gets charged fully in around 90 minutes and can give output for around 2 hours easily if shooting in 1080p and 60 minutes if shooting in 4K video settings. DJI always gives plenty of More Packages which generally includes extra batteries and various kinds of attachments to make your experience worthwhile by spending some extra rands. The DJI Osmo Action is equipped with Bluetooth and Wifi technologies to make your content transfer easy. Also, the camera can go up to -11 degrees temperature and can go waterproof until the depth of 11 meters. It can take up to 8x slow-motion videos and also UHD quality images on the go.
#TheLifesWayReviews - DJI Osmo Action #OsmoAction @DJIGlobal #ProductReview
The things I fell in love with this device are

Rock-Steady stabilization - As you can see the videos from the cycle tour, I am just holding the camera in my hands without any gimbal or any kind of monopod as the attachments that came with the same, I was not at all aware how to use them. The device just came in a black box without any manuals and those attachments which don't have that screw thread mount generally found in the cameras underneath.
#TheLifesWayReviews - DJI Osmo Action #OsmoAction @DJIGlobal #ProductReview
Weight and Weather Proof - The device is so light to carry all day even in your jacket pockets and can be taken out to film whatever you want to showcase to the world. With just 125 grams of weight,  you can easily attach a monopod and can take this device around the world.

Dual Screens - As already told earlier that it will definitely put the focus on the photographer to be in the picture too and in all those family videos where you don't have to be on the other side of the camera. vLoggers will love to capture all their daily routines and adventure sports using this camera.
#TheLifesWayReviews - DJI Osmo Action #OsmoAction @DJIGlobal #ProductReview
I didn't like the low light performance of DJI Osmo Action as there was a lot of noise in the pictures as well as videos. This is not built for any kind of night action is what I felt but maybe there must be some settings or firmware updates that have come to tackle these situations too.
#TheLifesWayReviews - DJI Osmo Action #OsmoAction @DJIGlobal #ProductReview
But will you buy this DJI OSMO Action or go for GO PRO range of products?

DJI Osmo Action is priced at R6000 and GoPro Hero 7 Black is also retailing around R6500 in the same price range at takealot.com at the time of writing this post. The difference which I could see between the action camera is that DJI has a full-HD colored front display which is not there in Hero 7 as it has an LCD display which only shows battery life, memory capacity, and shooting mode. Hero 7 ha vertical shooting mode for Instagram stories which is totally missing in the DJI Osmo Action camera. Hero 7 also is linked to various social media channels and you can do live streaming using this device whereas there is no direct link on DJI Osmo Action for the same but DJI Mimo App does a lot of fun stuff and can share it if you connect your camera to your smartphone automatically. Hero 7 is waterproof till only 10 meters where DJI Osmo Action can go 1 meter more.
#TheLifesWayReviews - DJI Osmo Action #OsmoAction @DJIGlobal #ProductReview
So in the end, it just depends on your choice but I totally loved using the DJI Osmo Action portable camera and can take it on my various journeys if I ever want an adventure camera. I had to return this review unit after two weeks and in between those I was able to shoot various videos. Just checked the same is going for USD 279 (R 4550) including an extra charging kit (extra 2 batteries) till June 23, 2020, on the DJI website Summer Sale to be delivered to the USA. I hope it will make your life full of adventure while you UNLEASH YOUR OTHER SIDE!

BETAAL @NetflixSA #WebSeries #Horror #Thriller

Hi Friends,

Netflix launched another original web series in the Hindi language on 24th May 2020 and I binge-watched the 4 episodes released yesterday for around 3 hours in total. Betaal is a horror-drama from the house of Red Chillies Entertainment in collaboration with Blumhouse Production and SK Global Entertainment. The web series is directed by Patrick Graham and Nikhil Mahajan. The web series stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Aahana Kumra, Suchitra Pillai, Ankur Vikal, Manjiri Pupala, and Jitendra Joshi in prominent roles.

Betaal is about an old curse on a tunnel where the villagers protect the tunnel and government wants to connect the tunnel to the main highway. A fictional police force by the name of CIPD (Counter Insurgency Police Division) is called to stand against the assumed Naxalites protestors and the villagers are removed by force and their homes burnt. A tribal woman Puniya played by Manjiri Pupala lives to tell the story of the curse on the Betaal mountains. All other characters play some of the ranks in the CIPD namely Vineet (Vikram Sirohi), Aahana (DC Ahluwalia), and others all reporting to Suchitra (Commandant Tyagi). The actors and their body languages look totally fictional to make you convince as they belong to some kinds of force or uniform. That thing becomes visible by the look Vikram has on his face when he says bye to his boss Commandant Tyagi. It's basically a force without any brains whatsoever till the end of episode 4.
#TheLifesWayReviews - Betaal @NetflixSA #WebSeries #Horror #Thriller
The story continues as they dug the tunnel and when some of the workers go inside without their JCBs or any kind of big lights, the already fully built tunnel, they don't come back and then the force goes and some come back infected. Again the main lead of the show Vikram goes inside to see that these are British Raj Military soldiers turned into zombies which he doesn't agree to while Commandant Tyagi is now fully controlled by the head of Zombies Colonel Lynedoch played by Richard Dillane. A lot of superstitions are showcased as Zombies won't be able to run past the Haldi-ash-salt lines but they can fire with their guns, play drums and even fly. Their bullets can also infect the people whom it hits. That's zombies on the next level but they all look kind of IT movie eyes but in red color and look really clown-like. In one sequence they say that all zombies have one eye, one instruction, one mind, and one order but they completely miss the chase when Aahana turns into a zombie and sees the 5 remaining characters running towards the village without getting any support from the other thousand zombies.

The dialogues are totally crap too where one soldier whole firing at British zombies says that this is for Jallianwala Bagh and this is for Bhagat Singh if only revenge and crime such as those will give some peace to the hearts of Indians by killing already dead British soldiers. More logic comes, when they get surrounded by a lot of British zombies so a guy said that he used to be a brilliant student before turning personal assistant and can repair anything and there was a canon by which they then kill the whole range of zombies in the room. Despite killing so many zombies, the dead forces keep on coming as if the mountain holds an unlimited supply of headcounts. The CIPD tries to save themselves and enter the British barracks where Jitendra Joshi (Ajay Mudhalvan) finds the diary of Colonel Lynedoch where he finds that he wants the sacrifice of his daughter Sanvi (Syna Anand) and tries to trade her in.

Overall, the horror audio is nice but not that spicy which will bring you to tremble in fear, and the overall performance of all the artists is just average. None other than Suchitra Pillay and Aahana looked somewhat convincing as the CIPD force. The only shrill that brings you is the mysterious character of village girl Puniya (Manjiri Pupala) as the story slowly unfolds. Vineet has acted just like he acted in Saandh ki Aankh with so much of heart in a force that is totally in the hands of politicians and whosoever pays them as they start to crack and break hierarchy just in the first few minutes of under pressure inside the barracks. In the end, web series making is not the game for everyone and you should not watch all of them until and unless they become super hit by word of mouth. Red Chillies has not been able to convince us with this one also after the Bard of Blood extravaganza. The story did have potential with all the right kinds of mysterious zombies and a storyline of the British Raj but the execution, acting, and production really beat the whole context. RATING 1.5/5

Horse Riding Video @Walkersons Hotel and Spa #Dullstroom #SouthAfrica

Hi Friends,

Horse Riding comes at a charge of R40 for 2 rounds and kids loved the same. Whilst day entry is free, this only allows people access to the hotel building and surrounding gardens, horse riding & pre-booked spa treatments. Day visitors are NOT permitted to roam around the estate for walks, fishing, or photography. The hotel is situated on a private estate and as such has to follow the rules of the Homeowners Association. Guests who are booked into the hotel / self-catering houses on the estate have full access to all areas and facilities but this is restricted for day visitors.
You can also book the hotel and spa but being a 5 Star establishment the rates start at around R3600 per night for 2 persons. I have personally never stayed inside the hotel and the best I came across the same is during this horse ride for kids.
