September is the start of the Spring season in Johannesburg, South Africa and it's the best season with pleasant weather and greenery all around. It's my 1800th post which I always wanted to cross since a long time and finally, it's happening today on 12th Sep 2019. 2019 has been a wonderful year so far and I am totally in love with myself and in 2018 - I had too much to work with those brands which didn't give me anything back for all my hard work and efforts. This year my decision to do only those brands which values me back is going ok, no so good as I wanted but I am happy with this decision as I continue to hold the same.

I gave this phone to my daughter who was struggling with my old HTC One M7 which was my 3rd HTC smartphone since Google G1. A cheap smartphone will remain cheap unless you are using the top version of the available model and I don't like using value for money smartphones. These smartphones are not my cup of tea.

I have got 2 Funko pops and 2 Funko keyrings with me in my collection.

I have not used this camera ever but I do love my Canon 77D camera and share all my shots with the world on my Instagram channels. 

I have been a little bit lazy in posting on my social media channels but now I have decided that I will do what I love most and passionate about. Whatever anyone else has to say can say and I won't be bothered by anyone? They were not there during my struggles and wins, how can they tell me what to do when I never asked for their opinions and judgments.

Hi Friends, 

I love earphones and I attract them in my life more than anything else. If I participate in any contest the prize will be earphones or headphones and if I get a goodies bag there it will be some kind of earphones and headphones. If I go to some event or expo, there also I will get a lot of cheap earphones at the various stalls. My life it seems is revolving around all kinds of earphones - cheaps ones to the expensive ones for review. 

I received these Body Glove Mini Bluetooth Earbuds from Gammatek as a replacement for my Airstream earphones which was not working perfectly. And man these ones are on my ears since the day it arrived. I wear it all the time, in office, during my practice walks for 25kms and in the actual 25km walk. These are really some great earphones in a small package when I first saw them, I didn't think them to become so close to my heart. 

Let's see these earphones in a detailed review on my blog and all the photos are taken using the Canon 77D Camera on my desk at home. The first thing to observe is the small charging case which can also keep the earphones inside while you travel or to carry with you and to recharge in case the battery dies on them after use. The charging case has built-in 300mAh Li-Polymer battery which can easily charge the 48mAh earbuds max 3 times fully in around 1 and half hour. The charging case is charged using the MicroUSB cable and a red light shows the same. There are also holes at the top of the charging case to show that earbuds are also getting charged. Once earbuds are fully charged, the light on the top turns itself off.

These Body Glove earbuds are Bluetooth v4.2 enabled with HSP, HFP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles supported. The operating range for these earbuds is only 10 meters as compared to others where it's marked at 30 meters. But I think it's kept small to keep the earbuds close to your devices. The music playback time which I could get on these earbuds is around 2 hours 30 minutes on a full charge. My 15km walk generally takes me around 3 hours to complete and in one charge I can easily come back on this BodyGlove Earbuds. You can accept the calls also on this device and on my earbuds, I can only listen on the right side earbuds and nothing comes on the left side. I am not sure if this is the defective piece or these are built that way. 

Using Body Glove Mini Bluetooth Earbuds is easy as it will turn automatically ON when taken out from the charging case and also turns themselves OFF when inserted back into the charging case and closing the lid. The earbuds are equipped with Multi-function buttons (MFB) and you can do several operations using the same. Switch them ON and OFF by pressing them for 2 seconds. The right and left earbuds always play a voice prompt to tell that they are ready to be connected to your smartphones or whatever Bluetooth enabled gadget you are using. You can use these earbuds to answer or reject a call, increase volume up and down, skipping to previous and next songs, pausing and playing the music along with resetting all pairing records to start afresh. These earbuds are only 4.6 grams each and total weight will be 41 grams.

In the last let's come down to the audio performance as that's the main thing these earbuds are built for. The earbuds are powered using 6mm drivers with impedence of 16 Ohms and sensitivity of 90+-3dB. The driver frequency range will be 20-20kHz as generally mentioned for all these earbuds and headphones. The earbuds have a balanced sound and really gives a solid impact on your ears. It's not bass boosted but has a little bit of the same in the right amount. It's like a surround sound effect using both the earbuds positioned rightly into your ears. In this small package, the audio effects on these earbuds are amazingly great. I totally fell in love with these and these are my carryable earbuds in my pockets all the time. Gammatek is the only importer who is bringing the nicest of the technology from various parts of the world to South Africa and selling it through it's online and retail partner stores. I have been aware of some of the brands like Zagg, Snug, Body Glove since 2010 when I was in London and saw these products on Amazon.com and really tried to win them too in some of their contests during Easter and Christmas season. Gammatek gave me a chance to do the same by sending me a product for review and to keep the same if I like it.

Body Glove is one of the biggest accessories maker brands who make several mobile cases for all types of popular smartphones. I received their Airstream Bluetooth Earphones which I not only loved but used them in my day to day life too. The case of these earphones was the most unique thing about this product. It can not only charge those earphones but also can charge your smartphone or any other device using the USB port built into the case. It has a 2800mAh battery which can surely charge any smartphone to its 50-75% capacity in extreme conditions.

The audio quality of Body Glove earphones is really good. It's clear and rich audio sound quality brings not only great music but also helpful during calls. The Bluetooth connectivity is really easy and fast using 4.1 version. The earbuds fit nicely into your ears and give decent noise isolation too. The specifications said it gives up to 3 hours play time and 3.5 hours talk time in case of hands-free calls. I could use these earbuds for at least 2 hours 30 minutes without any problems but the best part is that these can be charged again and again using the charging case provided on the run. I really loved the audio performance and call quality despite their invisible size which easily fits inside your ears.

Airstream has 2 earplugs for both sides of the ears and independent of each other. You can use either one of them if not using both. They get charged in their own independent shell inside the case. Unluckily for me, the review unit I received was not able to charge left side of the earphones and I got a replacement unit in 2 days delivered to my home. As I was using the replacement earphones, the attachment pasted using the adhesive came out on one of the earphones and I had to totally return the product to the Gammatek head office in Johannesburg. The brand sent me a newer version of their earphones which will be discussed in another blog post soon.

This is one of the rare occasions when I found myself so unlucky with BodyGlove Airstream earphones I loved because it has a unique case, can charge my other devices, I don't need to carry power bank and earphones separately, can keep them in my jeans pockets, can just throw them in my backpack and travel far and wide while enjoying the music and talking to friends and relatives using a single device. But the biggest risk is that if you lose the charging case, you won't be able to charge the earbuds in any other way.

Product Review - @Solo_NewYork Ludlow Tablet Sling @Gammatek #EverydaySolo

Solo New York makes some quality products, and another product which I got to review and keep is this fantastic Ludlow Tablet Sling shoulder bag for my day to day use. This bag also offers unique features and indeed have made my life easy as I can carry my camera and mobile phones during any event or regular travel. Many thanks to Gammatek for bringing them to South Africa.

The product is of top quality right from the style to the colour of the material. This one comes in Black and Grey colour and has a little leather touch at the bottom front of the bag. The front side contains 2 pockets - first small one on the top side of the bag which has a soft interior side to keep your sunglasses etc. and second bigger one to keep your visiting cards, loyalty cards, pens, smartphone and charging cables etc. The zips on both these pockets are good quality and will last you long. This bag really increases your style and fashion quotient up a notch.

The central part of the bag is to keep your tablet or iPad secure with two portions separated by padded compartment and the front portion to keep your notebook or water bottle or sunglasses or headphones or whatever you want to put it. I used the same to keep my small sized Canon 100D DSLR camera which is easily fitted into this limited space bag. The only thing I observed in this bag is that it's not a backpack to accommodate everything you throw at it, so the purpose for this bag has to be separate. Keep that in mind, and it will help you organise your essentials.

Solo Ludlow Tablet Sling bag can efficiently serve you for a quick meeting with some client where you need to show him something on your iPad or MacBook or 10-11" notebooks. It can only be used to keep something small as the width of the bag is limited, and zips won't get closed easily then. I have taken this bag on a weekend trip to keep my mobile phones, passports and other documents along with a water bottle and it served me perfectly. On another occasion, I kept my Canon 100D DSLR and a prime lens, and it fitted perfectly in this bag. Now today I tried using it with Acer Swift 3 laptop but its boundaries passed the zippers, and it could not be closed. I am sure it will work well with 10" tablets with keyboard attachments.

Product Review - @Solo_NewYork Everyday Max Backpack @Gammatek #EverydaySolo

There is always a market for backpacks and laptop bags as they don't last that long whatever age group you belong to. I can still remember, I have changed backpacks every 6-8 months during my engineering that is nearly every semester and during school time every year. Also during MBA studies, I used a messenger bag which my brother bought from Singapore and gifted me. It's in dying or throwaway condition but I have still kept it with me since 11 years after MBA to keep my educational documents secure.

I got this bag for 2 weeks to use it and I only used it on my weekend trip to Badplass, Forever Resorts. The best part of taking this bag was the conversion to duffle bag if not used as a laptop bag or even with a laptop, the same can be used as a weekender bag. 

The first thing, after being unheard of this Solo New York Brand which amazed me was the quality of the construction and the amazing details to make this backpack look amazingly beautiful. From the zips to the handles of the zips, everything was picture perfect and colour combination was something that will inspire you to carry it all along. The backpack is big being 17.3" laptop bag but the padding is enough to support the weight of the same. I bought a 17" laptop bag from Targus last year but I could feel the difference in the quality on Solo New York once as compared to Targus one. My last backpack was from Google for its employees and it lasted around 8 years (from Singapore to Switzerland to London to South Africa) and it didn't have any brand. Solo Everyday Max Backpack will serve you well too and is available in South Africa. I had to let it go before I could fall in love with it and couldn't live without it but this is one bag where I could place my money without any analysis or experimentation.

The empty bag only weighs 1 kilogram and that saves you with at least 6 kgs to make it your cabin baggage while you travel overseas or local. It can carry your 1 pair of full clothes without any towels but with all your electronics for an overnight trip or general travel as a laptop bag. The bag design is upmarket with charcoal grey and blue combination with the yellow stint at the zippers. The bag is surrounded by handles on three sides to carry it as per your choice and has internal compartments to keep your toiletries separate. The front pocket can easily keep your passport or mouse and charge cables etc.

The only con I could find is that if you are lost in your own world while travelling someone can easily open your duffle bag zipper compartment and take out your expensive Bose headphones or Kindle etc.

I really loved the backpack and will check out more from Solo New York and Gammatek website and buy one someday when I need to travel overseas. You can check them out too!
