If we talk about the leather case that has Rotring branding on the same which can easily be priced at Rs 4500 from a brand called Lapis. And if you go for Montblanc, this case is priced at ZAR 3000 or more. I really love the touch and feel that you get to enjoy when you carry this one in your pockets or backpack.
The Cross pens in this steel metallic body are really heavy, and what I have observed is that a mechanical pencil is always 4-5 grams heavier than a ball pen. The ball pen is around 1.0mm, which is not according to my writing habits, but I really love the flow and the smoothness of the refill.
The Cross pen has a twist mechanism for both a pencil and a ball pen. I really love the design, and this can be bought in its new avatars from Sandton Stationery & Print Shop in Sandton City, Johannesburg.
