Hi Friends, 

I bought the Pelikan 4001 Fountain Pen Ink from Takealot Online Store where it was listed for ZAR 145 for 30ml bottle in various colours. I purchased these 4 coloured inks from them; this is the final review of all the ink swabs. 

I bought these inks from Takealot.com but got them with a discount voucher that cost me ZAR 82.50 for each bottle. I now want to buy some other colours from this range of inks namely Royal Blue, Brilliant Brown and Dark Green. I will contact Pelikan South Africa as well for the same if they are interested in sending the remaining colours of ink bottles for review.

The variations in play make the game thrilling. You can take it seriously and be very competitive about winning, or you can play for laughs. The more players, the funnier the game becomes, with more people spouting nonsense and silliness at every turn.

While the game is for two players and up, it lends itself to playing in groups, which adds to the hilarity. It’s the perfect game to take along on a camping weekend, on a train journey, to the beach, on a hike, or to your favourite getaway spot.

New Year Resolutions - Week 24 Achievements & Failures #TheLifesWay

Hi Friends,

Week 24 was really hectic in terms of all the emotions coming down on you as my brother left for the state of California in the USA. We really miss him after he left for the whole weekend and even when my mom's birthday was the next day, we spent most of the day sleeping and taking rest without any enthusiasm. The week started in a full swing once again as I came back to completing all my so-called tasks and activities. 

Week 24 - Sat 11 Jun 2022 - Fri 17 Jun 2022

1. Thank You - I completed around 10000 of the same and took the counter past the 58000 mark for the month. This is one of the activities I really love a lot. I am so grateful that my brother and his family came to meet us and this has been the biggest benefit of this activity I was doing from the start of this year. I am so so happy about the same. 

2. Audiobook - I completed the 9 hours-long audiobooks named Leil Lowndes - How to Talk to Anyone? and totally loved the same. I am definitely going to buy a print edition as this is like the textbook which you should always keep with yourself to stroll through your life. 

3. Entertainment - The very first series I started watching was Season 3 of Ek Badnaam... Aashram starring Bobby Deol, Esha Gupta and others. But I felt that in series 3 nothing much happens and only some types of actions which baba did in the past and current are showcased - how did he become the Guru of Politics too? All of a sudden, Baba's political influence and thinking pattern has been upped to be made used by the other Politicians and the Corporate Branding CEO played by Esha Gupta. It's such that the baba is honey-trapped by the CEO in this game and money flows from one end to the other just like water. I also saw a Malayalam movie named CBI 5 starring Mammootty on Prime Video in Hindi. I found the movie to be interesting and full of twists and turns as the protagonist tries to solve the Basket Killings happening around one of the states. 

4. Walking - After a gap of around 2 weeks, I started walking again and was able to complete the 22nd week's target of 440 kilometres during this week. In total, I did around 22.7 kilometres during the week. I also went on to watch my daughter play the finals of Girls' football with my parents to boost her confidence. Unfortunately, the girls did a self-goal which led to the other team winning by the only goal done in the match. This was really heartbreaking but it all happens in sports all the time so she needs to overcome and learn from the game of sports. 

5. Party - It was also a time to get together with my friends for a full day picnic at one of their houses. We spend the whole day on Thursday at their home and ate nice food and beverages. I must have gained a lot of weight that day for sure. It was also mom's birthday which we celebrated and I gifted my mom the new Garmin Vivoactive 4S watch which I received from the Takealot.com birthday sale contest on the very first day of the event. It also got delivered on 13-Jun-22 just a day after my mom's birthday. 

6. Social Media Posts - I started scheduling and writing some of the pending blog posts again this week. I also took some of the blog posts down but not significantly like in Week 21. I am still considering being more focused on YouTube and also on other platforms to increase the marketing aspect or branding of my channel overall. I attended one of the YouTube events for Shorts and Black Community again this week. 

Post Covid-19, the market is trying to recover and I got the idea that we need to start from scratch once again. Despite being in my 10th year of The Life's Way - I have to start from scratch and all relationships are not transactional. I need to understand the same but it's too difficult to come out of your comfort zone. I have to break the thinking patterns which are making me bound to the same ground rules. It's time to fly into the unknown and reach for the sky! To upwards and farthest!

Keisha received another kind of collectables toys from the house of Mattel Games which she was not aware of and I too was not aware of the same too. It was a total surprise when the lovely silver rainbow box reached our home. Reyansh totally fell in love with the box and immediately went to open the box. I though told him to let's take some photos and then you can open and Keisha too loved the packaging. 

Cloudees is a kind of small toys which you can tag to your bags using the keyring that comes in the packages and there are various varients which you can collect and add to your collection. The toys are really cute and Keisha loved the same especially the soft cloud-like stuff that is the highlight of the box. Product Review - Jawbone Up24 @Jawbone #UP24 #SouthAfrica

Fitness bands have captured the markets worldwide and so many companies are now making them but the difference remains in terms of how good and intelligent are their smartphones apps which can process the data collected through the fitness band. 

I fell in love with Jawbone bands when they launched it a few years ago and always wanted to own the same. The time came when Takealot.com had a discounted scheme on one of the old version bands names Jawbone Up24 whereas UP3 was the latest one in the market. I bought the same and thought of trying the same out. 

I reviewed Fitbit Charge HR and this was the moment to try out the other competitions in the fitness band market. I loved Fitbit Charge HR for it's abilities but then I fell in love with the Smart Coach which is a feature in Jawbone app for smartphones as it processes the data collected via the app and gives your personalized advises and motivational messages to carry on. 

Jawbone Up24 has a 2.5mm jack hidden underneath the Jawbone branded cover on one end of the band. The band can be worn simply by sliding on your wrist and is available in three sizes. The package contains the charging cable with a female jack and USB to charge it via your laptop etc. The battery life on UP24 was nearly 14 days which is the best part about this band as you have to charge it twice every month. 

Jawbone bands looks like a fashion band and no one will know that its measuring your steps, sleep and many other things. The data is synced automatically to the smartphone app as soon as you have internet and bluetooth both ON. The UP Coach will send some personalized notifications based on previous days data at the start of the day when you open the JawboneUP app on your smartphone. 

Jawbone UP24 is splash proof and can take a little bit of rain etc but can't be fully submerged in water as the main mechanism/technology hidden inside a thin sheet of rubber will rust. You do have to really take care of the band to not wet it. 

Being an old model, you have to press the power button to enable the sleep mode so as to track your sleep pattern. The app will then give you exact time when you slept and how many times you were awake along with light and sound sleep and many other splendid information about you. I missed the altimeter which can track as to how many stairs you have taken on this Jawbone UP24. 

Jawbone App can be linked to several other famous apps and also IFTTT has some recipes for the same to post your notifications across your social media channels. Using the app, you can also track several other features like food intake, water intake etc. 

Jawbone UP24 remained on my left hand for nearly 3 months, in which it gave me enough insights into my lifestyle. Though during that time, it developed an air bubble on the bottom part of the band and the only button it has fell off by itself. Considering those I had to ask for returns from Takealot and they gladly did the same.

But as I am using the other brand's fitness band, I am missing the "Smart Coach" which is simply the best across all the apps I have used or come across. It really makes it interesting and gives your real insights into your lifestyle. I would love to have a UP3 or UP4 to get the same insights and with several new features including Pay feature in latest band UP4.

@HuaweiZA and @Takealot Partner For #Digital #Easter #HuaweiHunt

The Huawei Consumer Business Group (BG) sprung another surprise and proudly announced their partnership with Takealot on a digital Easter treasure hunt. The treasure hunt is live from today and runs until the 31st of March 2016 on Takealot.com. Consumers need to spot the Easter egg image on a product in the Huawei catalogue. Consumers then need to share that product link on social media and need to tag Takealot and include the hashtag, #HuaweiHunt. A winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries on the day and notified the following day. 

“Our national Easter treasure hunt is running at the moment and we wanted to spread the love to our online community. The partnership between Takealot is a valued partnership that we hope will be the start of many exciting things to come in future”, said Charlene Munilall, the Huawei General Manager Consumer Business Group South Africa.
