Hi Friends, 

Life takes unexpected turns and twists but we come out stronger if we have someone to fall upon during these times mostly family and friends it is in these situations which we hold on to. 

Sometimes we all take a break with our loved ones to travel to destination far from home and enjoy the beauty nature has to offer. 

South Africa has no dearth of places like these where you can go and relax with your family or friends and easily enjoy your weekends or long weekend. 

Hartbeespoort Dam is around 50km from Johannesburg, South Africa towards Suncity and is a perfect place to have a picnic with family and friends. 

Not only you can relax near the water body but also do some water sports like jet-ski, speed boat, and many related activities. There is a fee to enter the picnic spot which is around R100 per car and the park is open till 530pm everyday. It's best to carry cash as some of the vendors don't have POS machines to charge your debit or credit cards. The place also has a clean toilet and other facilities available.

For people like me who just want to enjoy nature, we can do braai inside the picnic area by bringing our chairs and eatables to enjoy while enjoying the view and the fresh wind flowing over the water. You can also take an hour's tour of the dam in this boat but book well in advance.  

It looks like there is no end to the place where land meets the sky and both have turned blue in this divine country called South Africa where you can see a lot of sky from everywhere. 

I really loved these trees which not only enhanced the view of the place but also created some unique opportunities for photography using my Nikon D7000 camera. It's one of the most relaxing picnic spots I have ever been to in South Africa. Kids have plenty of jungle gyms to play and swings and many more activities to do while you relax. 

In the end, my boss used to say that you need to find one tree in your life which gives you comfort and power to plan your life ahead and this might be one of such trees at Hartbeespoort Dam.

Owl On Its Own @MontecasinoZA #BirdGardens #PhotoYatra #TheLifesWayCaptures

Hi Friends, 

Montecasino Bird Garden is really different from the Zoo as there is more interaction with the birds at the venue. They offer flights of birds program every weekend at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm depending on the weather. 

Montecasino offers 3 types of rewards card which offers you discounted tickets to the Bird Gardens. The lowest card offers around 30% discount on the entry tickets and can be made at the venue using your passport. 

This little one was too cute and flew from the entrance point to the place where the trainer asked him/her to. 

The owl traveled too fast and I could only take some photos using my Canon 77D camera. Even while flying he kept his eyes on his/her target. 

They have really sharp eyes and can turn their head up to 270 degrees too. As he was near the stage and we were sitting right on the second stairs, I could take these photos which I could never take earlier. 

You will immediately fall in love with so many birds at the Montecasino Bird Gardens where the tickets are just around R80 without any discounts. 

The trainer gave the bird a piece of meat for following her instructions and giving viewers something to enjoy on that particular show. 

The owl had confidence like he/she is there on the stage to receive the Oscars and looked at all the audience sitting on both sides of the stage. 

In the end, Owl is just asking will you keep me on my own or will you come to meet me at Bird Gardens in Montecasino, Johannesburg, South Africa and enjoy your best days of life.

A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Apr 2019 #2000thPost www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay #PhotoYatra

It gives me great pleasure to announce that this is going to be the 2000th blog post on www.thelifesway.com since it started more than 7 years back on 27 Dec 2012. Between all the 2000 posts there has been some analysis I did and came up with several kinds of things which I can announce in this post. 

• 31.85% of the posts are self-written including product reviews, launch events, contest entries, book reviews, movie reviews, apps reviews and other reviews like Photowalks, etc. 
• 1363 posts didn't get me anything much and some are only done to keep the PR relationships and to please the brands without getting any benefits in return
• For Huawei, I published 95 press releases and 17 self-written posts which totals 112 posts
• For Samsung, I published 90 press releases and 15 self-written posts which totals 105 posts
• For Indiblogger, I published 44 press releases and 39 self-written posts totaling 83 posts
• For Montecasino, I published 83 posts all of them were press releases
• For Acer, I published 64 press releases and 3 self-written posts totaling 67 posts
• For Disney, the count is 64 press releases
• For Sony Electronics, 42 press releases, and 10 self-written posts
• For Silverstar Casino, 48 press releases
• For Sterkinekor, 38 press releases
• For rAge Expo, 36 press releases
• For ZEE TV, 27 press releases and 1 self-written post
• For LG Electronics, 23 press releases, and 1 self-written post
• For Microsoft, 20 press releases and 3 self-written posts

In the near future of 2020, I want to increase self-written content to reach at least 50% because that will improve my writing abilities if done on a daily basis.

May Divine Lamps Lighten Our Paths #Joburg #SA #PhotoYatra #TheLifesWayCaptures

Hi Friends, 

During these COVID-19 times where boredom and depression are making its roots inside all of us, an earthen Diya or lamp if lightened in our homes can definitely bring the hope that our mind and heart need. 

Light can bring a ray of hope to our hearts even when everything seems like darkness. We need to focus on making ourselves ready when all this is over. 

The light can not only reach our minds but will show us the way forward to enjoy our best of days together in harmony. 

The times like these show us that it's our soul that means something and not the covering we are covered with like caste, creed, religion, money, and fortunes. 

It will be defined by how much light you have in your heart? If your heart has the light to see this through then you have a heart made of gold and no matter how much hidden it is it will be shown to the world sooner or later.
