July being my birthday month always have been special for me as it's time to buy myself something my heart desires a lot. The life in July 2015 was exciting and my blog touched the most number of pageviews (123,026) in the history of TheLife'sWay in a single month. I started using HTC One M8, one of my favorite devices at that time and still using the same as my day to day smartphone.

Last year, it was the time to attend the Huawei Launch event for the first time and I really loved the same. I posted a series of posts for the brand and their P8 smartphone. Also to attend the event as a media, I got a nice 4G mobile wifi data device which I am currently using to access internet outside my home.

2. Product Review - @SennheiserUSA MOMENTUM On-Ear #Headphones - http://www.thelifesway.com/2015/07/product-review-sennheiserusa-momentum.html - I have always been a fan of headphones and Momentum from Sennheiser was a dream come true for me. It was a USD100 gift coupon which I used while checking Aramex Global Shopper to purchase the same. I fell in love with these headphones as soon as I opened the packaging.

I went on to watch first day first show and reviewed the same too. It was an awesome movie and songs were great too. Huawei have been a continuous sponsor of the team and I really missed not able to attend the event.

Product Review - @SennheiserUSA MOMENTUM On-Ear #Headphones

Headphones and me are like best friends, no matter how much time I spent with them, I want more of them all the time. I keep getting and buying headphones/earphones all the time and even sometimes the contest I won has headphones as prizes but never I got the same ones so the collection keeps on growing as I never think of selling my well deserved prizes. 

It was a dream to own a pair of Sennheiser MOMENTUM headphones since it's launch some years ago and the dream was made possible by Aramex Global Shopper. They gave me an opportunity to blog about their services along with a USD 100 voucher which I used to buy these as compared to Motorola 360 Watch or Amazon Fire phone which were also in my wishlist. I got these within a week from Amazon USA using Aramex Global Shopper and didn't had to pay any customs etc to get them in Johannesburg, South Africa. Thanks a lot to AGS for making this dream come true! Read the posts Part 1 and Part 2.

My association with Sennheiser is something like that I have never bought any of their earphones or headphones by paying the actual money and just by consuming all the gift vouchers I receive and won some of the models via Indiblogger contests and Sennheiser facebook pages in UK and India. I really admire the Pursuit of Perfect Sound and felt crazy when they launched a new one called Urbanite when I got these so more dreams are in the making now as I continue to enjoy this beauty called Sennheiser Momemtum On-Ear Black which has Stunning Sound in Sensational Style.

Momentum On-Ear looks amazingly cool and awesome with the right combination of stainless steel and Alcantara material which is soft and breathable procured from Milan. Alcantara is an artificial substitute for Suede Leather and that the feel the composite material gives to you. The headband is also covered in the same material with colorful stitching which makes the look and feel of these headphones urbane to match modern lifestyle. The touch and feel of headphone is rich and expensive due to it's build quality.

The packaging looks cool and contains Momentum On-ear headphones with velvet carrying case along with a cloth carrying case. The box also contains standard connection cable as well as special cable with smart remote & mic which gives some extra functions if you are using compatible Apple devices. The extra functions that can be accessed using this cable are turning volume up and down, press play and pause, answer/end/ reject a call, skip to next / previous track and activate voice control. 

Momentum On-ear headphones are available in 7 colors including some pastel colors - Black, Red, Green, Blue, Brown, Pink, Ivory. I wanted to buy Blue ones but they were expensive as compared to Black ones. Red and Ivory also looks amazingly great. I was attracted to Red ones when I saw someone wearing the same at Doha International Airport, Qatar. The headphones weight around 160grams including the remote cable and light to wear on the ears. The size of the band can be adjusted using the side sliders and they fit tightly on your ears. It's good as they keep where you put them but also ears starts paining after a while but will revert to normal if you take them off after every hour or so for a minute or so. 

Momentum On-ear Headphones has impedance of 18 Ohms and frequency response is 16 - 22000 Hz. The benefit of this is that these gives full stereo sound with very good details of music in play. I really loved the sound quality of these headphones. The ear coupling is Supraaural and transducer principle these headphones works on is dynamic, closed bring the best for you in these niche market segment of headphones. The sound produced by these On-ear headphones will bring classical and bollywood music fans to simply say WoW! I would love to receive the Urbanite from Sennheiser for review or to keep forever.

In the end, I would thank Universe for making all my dreams come true sooner or later as I simply loved these headphones and always wanted to have one in my kitty. If you are looking for something which looks beautiful and produces great sound output then Sennheiser On-Ear headphones are made for you. These will last you long if you take care of them properly and keep them in the supplied carry cases. Product Review - @Kinivo BTE40 - Bluetooth Stereo Earphones

The best part is that it can be used with any of your costly headphones and to turn your car's speakers into bluetooth also. 

The device has red and blue LED lights to indicate low battery & charging status. The device gets charged fully  between 2-3 hours and gives battery output of more than 5 hours of continuous music play. You can easily control your music player directly from the headset with functions such as play, pause, next & previous track, and volume controls. The buttons are easy to press and works perfectly great.

On-Off switch on the side helps to save battery when the device is not in use. Kinivo has been a front-runner in making some nice devices for everyday use. BTE40 comes with two auxiliary cords (long and short) to match all your needs. Also the package contains a pair of earphones with once cord longer than the other one to go behind your neck but there are no extra pair of ear plugs of different sizes. The charging cable is provided in the package.

The earphones that comes in the package are nice to use and will go a long way in your day to day usage. For better sound quality and performance, you can use your higher end earphones from brands like Sennheiser and Beats using it's 3.5mm audio output port. 

The user can easily switch between calls and music using this BTE40 as it comes with noise cancellation microphone. Also, it can be connected to two simultaneous bluetooth devices for example it can be connected to your video player on your tablet as well as receive call from your smartphone.

There is an app for iOS devices called "Bluetooth Battery Meter" which shows the remaining battery capacity for this BTE40 main controller. All Kinivo devices come with a warranty of 1 year.

A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Feb 2014

Hi Guys,

Feb 2014 as work started in full phase at office, I had very less time left for blogging. I tried to review all the headphones I bought or won in many of the contests on twitter/facebook or from Indiblogger meets. In the month of Feb, there are always a lot of Indiblogger and Blogadda contests that happens so I tried my hands in many of them too.

1. Product Review - Sennheiser PX80 On ear Headphones - Sennheiser is one of my most favorite brand of headphones. I always liked their stuff and won these light, portable and awesome headphones on their facebook page in India. This post has been my top post in terms of pageviews at the moment. Check it out! I also reviewed other headphones which I won on Indiblogger Indimeet - Product Review - Sennheiser HD202 II - Over Ear Headphones which I am still using here to watch movies and music.

2. Photo Walk - Gardens of the Nature 2 / Photo Walk - Gardens of the Nature 3 / Photo Walk - Gardens of the Nature 4 - remains my best in terms of natural beauty it showcases. We all are attracted to flowers and I totally loved clicking their photographs. I will start again on this series this month as I got some new photographs clicked on my trip to CapeTown etc.

3. Indiblogger & 5 Star Contest - Condition Serious hai - I loved my sarcastic writing for this contest but I didn't win any contest prizes from Indiblogger. Some of the things I predicted there were very right and it continues to happen all the time in our society.

4. Knowledge is great and so is it's pursuit - Indiblogger & British Council Contest - I wrote about the problems we face if we want to go for higher studies outside the country. I tried to relate the topic with what my brother faced as he wanted to studied abroad way back in 2003. Another failure to win any prizes from Indiblogger in this post also.

5. Product Review - BROTHER - MFC-9140CDN - This was the first time someone sent me something big to review. The post has been a successful on in terms of pageviews and still is in my top 10 posts. Thanks to Brother Printers for sending me the printer.

Feb 2014 was full of hope and new friendships were created as we met new people on the job and I thought to initiate my blog here in South Africa by marketing it well. I tried to remain active on Twitter and other social media channels to increase my visibility.

A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Dec 2013

Hi Guys,

Last year in Dec 2013, I didn't blogged for whole of Nov and my Indiblogger rank dropped considerably due to non activity. I went back to India and posted some of the Product review posts about some of the latest gadgets that I won between Nov and Dec 2013. It was my second month in Johannesburg and I visited several places and made some great friends.

1. Product Review - Sony Wireless Speaker SRS-BTV5 with NFC & Bluetooth- This great bluetooth speaker I won from @SonyPix twitter contest on #Skyfall and totally loved it since then. I still am using the same and liked the volume and sound clarity these small speakers produce. 

2. Product Review - LG HBS-700 Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset - This is one great device which my brother bought from USA for himself and I totally loved the design and comfort of these headsets from LG. These headsets Vodacom here is giving for free with LG G3 mobile phones. The deal is totally worth it because of the headsets. 

3. Product Review - Logitech Mini Boombox - This is the only prizes my wife has won for her blog post on one of the Indiblogger meet contest. The sound is impressive and loud. The size of the speaker is perfect for a picnic and produced great sound with bass. Thanks to Indiblogger & ZeeTV for such an awesome prize. 

4. Product Review - Amazon Kindle 3G Keyboard - When Kindle got launched it revolutionized the market and everyone who loves reading was looking for the device. There was a huge discussion between paper and digital editions as everyone has their own favorite. But fact remained that Kindle is a powerful device which has grown over the years and taken digital media to a new level. I totally loved this device and has been reading on it for years now. 

5. Product Review - Sennheiser HD 280 Pro - Over the ear Headphones  

Product Review - Harman Kardon CL Headphones

Headphones being my first love, I always try to review as many as I can find, buy or lend from friends and family. My brother got Sennheiser HD280 which were heavy to wear but produces amazing sound quality. I got my friend to buy Harman Kardon in sale and he totally loved them till the time, he got BOSE in another sale next season. 

The year 2013 ended on a high note as I won many contests during the whole year and received a lot of prizes. The amount of time spent is also huge to win those gifts and goodies. I totally enjoyed it but if I look at it now, I won't be spending that much time ever again on those twitter contests. It's an addiction which grows if you start winning and then you don't want to lose ever in any of the contest.

A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Oct 2013

Hi Guys,

October 2013 during this time last year, I was busy in my VISA application for South Africa and also busy promoting my blog (www.thelifesway.com) to get to maximum brands and blog for them.

1. Product Launch - LG G2 #Great2Haveyou 30 Sep 2013 - I got invited to launch event for the launch of LG G2 mobile phone from one of their PR's. The phone looked awesome and the goodie bag had great things I liked and always wanted. Though I didn't got any devices to review but it was great to be in their launch event at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon. 

2. Product Launch - Gionee ELIFE E6 Smartphone - Another invite from one of the famous PR's of Gionee mobile where I got to see Huma Qureshi also. It was a great event where I got to see Rajiv Makhni live in action and discussing on gadgets. The phone looked awesome but never reviewed the device till now. 

3. NIKON #ThroughTheLens Blogger Meet Delhi 19 Oct 2013 - Another awesome invite was from the company whom I loved the most and wanted to have their DSLR from so long. They launched D610 & D5300 in India and called some of the bloggers for the same. I got some Nikon goodies (4gb SD card/ DSLR strap & Nikon Tshirt) which I knew will bring me DSLR sooner or later and now I am the proud owner of D7000 but bought it myself. 

4. Amazon.in - Light up a child's Diwali - One of the donation of books drive which was close to my heart. After listening to someone on TEDx talks regarding non-availability of books to a lot of kids, I thought of donating some books and I felt great after sending kids some books worth Rs. 3500. I don't know how much kids are happy but I hope they celebrated their Diwali with new books from Amazon.

5. Indiblogger DID4 Meet - #DanceItOut for Women Security - My last Indiblogger & Zee TV meet in Delhi that year and I really loved to be a part of the same. It was during the meet only I got the email that my VISA has arrived and I need to travel soon to South Africa. I travel on the day before Diwali and spent the festival in the new country all alone in a room. Life is full of ups and downs and I won Sennheiser HD202 headphones for this post and I was very happy because I always wanted to have them. Thanks to Indiblogger for all the love and gifts in the last year. 

November 2013 - I didn't do any posts because I didn't had any internet connection with me and was only using data on mobile. It was a break from always online habit for a while and I really loved the same. Though it was very very difficult to stay away from internet but I could do it successfully. 

The year was awesome till the time I was in India as I made my blog grew along with me and over the journey won a lot of gifts from blogging as well as twitter. Twitter contests consumed a lot of time and efforts and the rewards was sometimes not much worth but the adrenaline to win is awesome.You can't stay away if you get into the habit of winning on twitter. Try it out!

Product Review - Sennheiser Adidas - PMX 680 Sports

Hi Guys,

I have always been in love with Sennheiser products and destiny brought me together with PMX 680 Sports band earphones whereas I ordered Klipsch S4i Rugged from Incredible Connection website on sale. Somehow they never sold Klipsch and yet it was showcased on their website to which they offered me these earphones for all the confusion created. Thanks a lot to @IncConnection for this awesome product. Though this one doesn't offer any mic and phone usage capability but these are great for racing and jogging. 

Sennheiser Adidas Band earphones are very lightweight, weighs almost 18grams and gets fixed around your neck into your ears. They are very much comfortable to wear during your workout and for your other laptop working usage also. They are sweat and water resistance which makes them worth their price. With a frequency response of 18-20000 Hz they produce nice natural sound with an impedance level of 16 Ohms. They are loud enough so that your will be able to enjoy your music through thick traffic also. 

The best thing I liked about them is the color of the device, it comes in parrot green color along with some reflective coatings at the right places. It has a volume control cable which can be attached to the main headband. I have used the headband with ipod Shuffle and I didn't wanted to use the volume control cable as I can easily attach my ipod to my tshirt. I am sure enough that these earphones will give me enough motivation to do my 5 kms training asap.

These headband types earphones are not in-ear ones but the regular old school ones but the earphones design is perfectly right and just produces music in your ears for your listening pleasures.These ones comes with 2 years warranty and comes with a nice storage pouch, foam ear pads and cable clip. This is my second Adidas Sennheiser product as my first one is CX310 which I wrote about earlier in my blog.

PMX 680 has DuPont Kelvar cable that produces no noise disturbance as you run and cable touches your body or clothes. This cable also provides longer durability for these kind of earphones. I really loved these earphones as it challenged my love for in-ear earphones which provides noise isolation due to it's design. I could not find any sound or quality differentiation between them and CX310.

Sennheiser is a great company and I am still in pursuit for their MOMENTUM on-ear headphones which I am sure will get one day to review or as a gift. Till that time this is my free service to the company and my passion towards the headphones that makes me write more and more about their devices.

Product Review - Skullcandy Titan Supreme Sound Earphones

Hi Guys,

After my experience with Skullcandy Rock headphones, it's my time to meet the in-earphones with mic from the house of Skullcandy. They come in painted metal housing and looks pretty cool in bronze color.

They are priced around R220 in DionWired but on their website the same was offered at more than 50% discount.

Having a great sounding earphones with MIC is an added advantage. These earphones produces a lot of bass above and over the natural sound. The earbuds looks heavy due to it's metallic touch but are not heavy at all. They are comfortable to wear for longer durations too.

They comes with a small metal case to carry the earbuds around saving them from wear and tear.

The whole touch and feel of the earphones is worth it's value and Skullcandy has always been a fashion brand in this industry offering a lot of choices to it's young customers.

Based on the sound quality, they are similar to my Sennheiser Adidas CX310 with a lot of bass added on to them. They are comfortable to wear and offers mic functionality which makes them great at this price range.

The control functions works with all of the Apple devices and android smartphones.

If you are really looking for good earphones around R100 check if there are some available at any of the DionWired stores and pick one for future use or for gifting someone.

Product Review - Sennheiser PX80 On ear Headphones

Hi Guys,

Sennheiser PX-80 On the ear headphones are small in size and weight but big in audio output. The frequency response of the headphones is from 15 – 27000 Hz with Impedance of 32 ohm. They produce a nice audio output which really gives you a great listening pleasure. The sound is natural and bass is just OK for listening to most of the songs. The headphones are comfortable to wear over a longer period of time. It has a metallic headband which strongly held itself against your head. The same can be adjusted to fit your head size.

The earphones are covered with foam which gives soft feeling around the ears. The main highlight is the design of the plastic carry case and how the headphones are designed to be fitting inside the small compartment of the plastic case. They get folded quiet easily into the carry box and can be carried around safely in your bag pack or even pocket of jeans.

Sennheiser PX80 is priced around Rs 1200/- it really serves the purpose of portability and do offers some kind of noise isolation in terms of its design. While listening at higher volumes the sound does comes out for others discomfort. The headphones are worth a try if you are looking for the cheapest, lightest and value for money product for your day to day listening pleasure. It doesn’t have any Mic built in so can’t be used for call purposes. The model has been replaced by another several new models but it’s still available in Indian markets at Flipkart and Amazon.in.

I won them from a contest on facebook by Sennheiser India sometime back and being my second Sennheiser loved them a lot. But my pursuit for perfect sound is going to end when I have MOMENTUM on my ears. Sennheiser is going to make that dream come true sooner or later but till that time, I will keep falling in love with all the other products the company has to offer.

Product Review - Sennheiser HD202 II - Over Ear Headphones

Sennheiser headphones have been an integral part of my life. Another headphones which I wanted to try since long has been added to my family of headphones at home. It’s the Sennheiser HD202 II which I won from Indiblogger Dance India Dance 4 after meet blog post. It was really awesome to win them and it was a great motivation for me to come to India from South Africa in the Christmas holidays.

The moment when I unboxed these legendary headphones to the listening pleasure, it’s been a great pursuit of sound. I do love headphones a lot and Sennheiser never fails to amaze me with it’s never ending range of products.

I find this headphone with clear sound and good in bass. The headphones got a plastic feel to it. The earphones can be dragged up n down to fit your ears properly. It comes with a long 3m cable to comfortably watch TV or laptop from a distance while watching movies etc. The product is light weight and can be used for longer durations of time. It gives a good factor of noise isolation because of over the ear design. I was able to sleep wearing them while sitting on just above the wing seat of the boeing plane all the while. This is really the product to buy if you’re sitting tight on the budget. They have good ear cups with good quality of foam which really gives a great listening pleasure over a long period of time. The head band is also covered with same kind of foam so that it sits properly on your head without falling.

I got complimented by a lot of people on airport/airplane who have either used HD202 II earlier or using it currently. They all got best things to say about the same. This comes in the price range of Rs 2200 only from flipkart or amazon.With frequency range from 18 - 18000 Hz and impedance of 32 Ohms this brings in a clear audio directly into your ears. 

I still am in pursuit of MOMENTUM and I never know when lady luck is gonna smile, but whenever it will, I will be the happiest person on this earth. I saw one lady wearing red one of it at the Addis Ababa airport in Ethiopia and I so much wanted to go and ask her about the same. Let’s see when the day comes when people sees me wearing these one proudly on my ears and around the neck.

Till that time, let me enjoy whatever I have on my head and over the ears...

Product Review - Sennheiser HD 280 Pro - Over the ear Headphones

Hi Guys, 

Headphones being my first love and what best can when I can go in pursuit of perfect sound with Sennheiser headphones. May be my search will end once I have listened to Momentum by Sennheiser. But for the moment the topic of review is their HD 280 Pro which my brother was using since a year. I tested the same against my other headphones and found this one to be simply wiping all the competition in it's category.

The audio output of these headphones is really amazing in the price range they fit in. These are available in India at around Rs 6500 at flipkart and amazon. The sound quality is superb and you will fall in love all over again with all the music played on these headphones.

The headphones can be rotated for usage of DJ's if using a single earphone and the cable is telephone cable like wired for elongated operation. 

The padding over the ear is soft and really fits the ears completely. The weight of the headphones is on a bit heavy and will not be comfortable for long period of use. But you can use these ones as a noise cancellation earphones too during long flights and train journeys as these headphones are made for high-noise environment conditions. It will be a cheaper alternative considering the noise cancellations headphones prices.

HD 280 is a professional version of headphones which will give you value for money and makes your journey with these full of great music. I love Sennheiser and being using the ones I have and the list is adding continuously as I get more and more of these in my life. 

Looking forward to gain some Momentum in the Sennheiser style...

My 100th Post - Celebrating with BOSE MIE2i Mobile Headset

Hi Guys, 

This being my 100th post, I wanted to make sure that it represents the best thing I have ever received. Considering my love for headphones and earphones, my cousin came up with an idea to exchange goodies amongst us. He has this BOSE headphones received as a gift from his employer on NEW YEAR. I had several gifts as already mentioned on my blog so a day arrived when I exchanged my gifts for this ULTIMATE experience of my life and passion for MUSIC.

I am a huge fan of Sennheiser and I loved my Adidas CX-310 more than anything else but I did feel the difference when I was listening to these earphones. The difference I felt was that of the SURROUND SOUND. Wearing and listening to BOSE earphones really gave me a feeling that I am sitting in the movie hall or concert hall with voice coming from all sides. I am not aware if Sennheiser also produces same kind of effect in any other headphones/earphones as it's range is very large but I am loving these BOSE earphones a lot. 

I am really grateful to my cousin for choosing me to have these earphones. I am really grateful to Universe too that I receive my goodies whenever I truly deserve them through it's grand design. Thankyou.

Product Review - Sennheiser CX-310 Earphones

Hi Guys,

I was trying a lot of earphones/headphones and spend a lot of money on many of them in search of perfect sound quality but nothing came close to Sennheiser. I won these amazing headphones in the last week of my stay in London on the last day of the contest held by Sennheiser UK on their facebook page. I got the news of winning from my cousin in India. The earphones was delivered to me at the fastest speed possible and as soon as I opened the package, I was in the middle of a rock solid music performance on the songs I loved. 

 

I really liked the dual color of the earphones and felt amazingly great to receive them. 

At that moment they were trading at £35 on Amazon.UK and each penny was worth paying for these amazing piece of technology. 

It's been 2 years, I am using these earphones and I never felt need to buy something else. I lost some opportunities in India to win other several models of Sennheiser headphones including MOMENTUM & their HD series. 

Sennheiser CX-310 series is a special edition ADIDAS branded earphones based on the CX-300 series earphones. They have great bass and fits your ears completely to isolate external noise. This helps to bring all the tones of music right into your ears. This also helps you to travel without listening to others talking in metro or trains or buses as you can be totally immersed in your own musical world. Be aware to remove them while crossing roads or any other place where listening to external noise is of utmost important.

I feel very happy whenever I listen to music via my Sennheiser earphones. Now I am looking forward to have any of the model of HD series headphones to test them out and what more in Music quality is unknown to my ears? Let Universe listen to my wish and come with something soon....

Product Review - Skullcandy LOWRIDER Stereo Headphones

Hi Guys,

Today I received Skullcandy Lowrider headphones from Parle Agro - @IAMAPPYFIZZ twitter contest win. Thanks a lot to Parle Agro for sending the same.

Let's see if they are really good!

The whole set has this plasticy feel that it will break any second you put pressure on, which led me to think if they are originals or fake? Also there was some glue material like bubblegum fixed as seen on the second image which also made me think that these are fake stereo headsets.

Let's put all these feelings aside, the audio quality of the sets is good but they doesn't fit tight on the ears and there seems to be some kind of angle problem with these one on my ears. I tried to use them via multiple settings but couldn't find the right way. Let's hope that till the time they work I can try try n try again.

If you are spending some serious money on buying these ones, better spend some extra and purchase Sennheiser ones! You will never regret your decision!
