A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Apr 2015 www.thelifesway.com

Hi Guys,

April is the first month of the new financial year in India and you have redefine all your Income Tax related documentations along with several new tax saving schemes that you make. The implementation of those schemes is the main agenda for the rest of the year. But last year, my agenda was not tax-saving but was waiting for the Samsung's #MissionSamsung Final challenge to begin. 

1. MERCEDES-BENZ #BOKEH Fashion Film Festival, Cape Town - http://www.thelifesway.com/2015/04/mercedes-benz-bokeh-fashion-film.html - Mercedes Benz Fashion Film Festival always launches in April firstly in Cape Town and around 1-2 months later in Johannesburg. I am thankful to brands to always invite me to the launch event in Johannesburg and I got to click some amazing photographs which I generally share on my instagram channel. 

3. Last year, for the first time on my blog I tried regular posts on my blog with scheduling content for the whole week and it really saw some increase in the pageviews. The content was mainly for Disney movies as Avengers - Age of Ultron was scheduled to release in South Africa -

4. Mad Stuff with Rob - Youtube Channel - My daughter used to watch and love Rob tricks to change stuff lying around home into something useful and that can be decorated at home. So when he launched the Youtube channel, I was instantly glued to the amazing content he shared online around the world. I have subscribed to Mad Stuff with Rob Channel on Youtube and try to do the activities he shows with my daughter and family from time to time.

5. @TanishqJewelry - The Modern Sindoor is for Grooms too! - http://www.thelifesway.com/2015/04/tanishqjewelry-modern-sindoor-is-for.html - I tried out a new bloggers community and got to write a sponsored post for one brand which took a lot of time to confirm on my post. It was a bad service on the community platform so I changed my post for a free publicity for Tanishq which doesn't required any but atleast I was happy that I used my written content.

My blog started to pick up in pageviews due to the regular posts and saw record #15926 pageviews for the first time ever which was subsequently broken next month.

Product Review - @SennheiserUSA MOMENTUM On-Ear #Headphones

Hi Guys,

Headphones and me are like best friends, no matter how much time I spent with them, I want more of them all the time. I keep getting and buying headphones/earphones all the time and even sometimes the contest I won has headphones as prizes but never I got the same ones so the collection keeps on growing as I never think of selling my well deserved prizes. 

It was a dream to own a pair of Sennheiser MOMENTUM headphones since it's launch some years ago and the dream was made possible by Aramex Global Shopper. They gave me an opportunity to blog about their services along with a USD 100 voucher which I used to buy these as compared to Motorola 360 Watch or Amazon Fire phone which were also in my wishlist. I really admire the Pursuit of Perfect Sound and felt crazy when they launched a new one called Urbanite when I got these so more dreams are in the making now as I continue to enjoy this beauty called Sennheiser Momemtum On-Ear Black which has Stunning Sound in Sensational Style.

Momentum On-Ear looks amazingly cool and awesome with the right combination of stainless steel and Alcantara material which is soft and breathable procured from Milan. Alcantara is an artificial substitute for Suede Leather and that the feel the composite material gives to you. The headband is also covered in the same material with colorful stitching which makes the look and feel of these headphones urbane to match modern lifestyle. The touch and feel of headphone is rich and expensive due to it's build quality.

The packaging looks cool and contains Momentum On-ear headphones with velvet carrying case along with a cloth carrying case. The box also contains standard connection cable as well as special cable with smart remote & mic which gives some extra functions if you are using compatible Apple devices. The extra functions that can be accessed using this cable are turning volume up and down, press play and pause, answer/end/ reject a call, skip to next / previous track and activate voice control. 

Momentum On-ear headphones are available in 7 colors including some pastel colors - Black, Red, Green, Blue, Brown, Pink, Ivory. I wanted to buy Blue ones but they were expensive as compared to Black ones. Red and Ivory also looks amazingly great. I was attracted to Red ones when I saw someone wearing the same at Doha International Airport, Qatar. The headphones weight around 160grams including the remote cable and light to wear on the ears. The size of the band can be adjusted using the side sliders and they fit tightly on your ears. It's good as they keep where you put them but also ears starts paining after a while but will revert to normal if you take them off after every hour or so for a minute or so. 

Momentum On-ear Headphones has impedance of 18 Ohms and frequency response is 16 - 22000 Hz. The benefit of this is that these gives full stereo sound with very good details of music in play. I really loved the sound quality of these headphones. The ear coupling is Supraaural and transducer principle these headphones works on is dynamic, closed bring the best for you in these niche market segment of headphones. The sound produced by these On-ear headphones will bring classical and bollywood music fans to simply say WoW! I would love to receive the Urbanite from Sennheiser for review or to keep forever.

In the end, I would thank Universe for making all my dreams come true sooner or later as I simply loved these headphones and always wanted to have one in my kitty. If you are looking for something which looks beautiful and produces great sound output then Sennheiser On-Ear headphones are made for you. These will last you long if you take care of them properly and keep them in the supplied carry cases. Product Review - @AramexSA Global Shopper - Part 2

Aramex Global Shopper is an amazing concept to get your favorite gadgets as soon as possible from the launch countries. Now you don't need to go to gray market and pay enormous amount to buy the latest Apple gadgets. It's also beneficial for something that is going for sale or cheap prices in US / UK markets. I always see there is a huge mismatch in prices between the United States and every other country around the world. It's always great to have something from the source as the extra cost you can afford and ready to pay.

Amazon.com is really very fast in terms of delivering the package and it reached the New York AGS facility within 3-4 days including Sat/Sun. As soon as it reaches the AGS facility, I got an email from AGS that my package has now reached their warehouse and I will be informed when it's on it's way to Johannesburg.

AGS created a record on MY PACKAGE tracking page once I logged into the website to keep a track of my items in transit. It took them a day to finally finalize the package to be shipped to Johannesburg. It was the time that I need to pay for the package shipping fees which came out to be R274/USD23 (the exchange rate on the day of payment). My package was about 1 kilograms so the fees was R274. Customs and other charges will be extra if any is charged will be taken from you later.

The package reached AGS operations facility in CBD, Johannesburg in 2-3 days max and was awaiting confirmation of payment and delivery as it was weekend when it reached the city. I was waiting the package to reach me on Monday but it didn't so I called the customer care number around 12pm and talked to the staff. The IVRS helpline was easy to use and staff was helpful to track my package and confirm that it will be released by today eod and I will receive it next morning.

I was very elated to receive the package at around 10am the very next morning and there was no custom charges attached to my goods which made the deal much more great. So all in all if you subscribe to AGS (USD 45) + Online Order (X amount) + Shipping Charges (USD 25) = Happy Customers ( USD 70 + X amount of goods) for the first time. But the first USD 45 fees to become a member is once in a lifetime and you can order for as many years as you want or till the time Aramex service is available for everyone. On you next order, you just need to pay for the goods and shipping charges as per the weight of the package, so in the long run you will cover the cost of initial membership, if you or your friends or family wants to order a lot from many countries.

Aramex Global Shopper does what it's name reflects and message it conveys as it turns you into a shopper globally without any limits but within some respectful constraints laid out by respective countries for import rules. If you are a true shoppholic and wants your goods to be delivered as soon as they are launched, get the membership of this amazing facility to have shipping address in 15 countries and get them delivered in Kenya and South Africa. This service will expend soon based on the initial response and I wish them all the very best. It's been a shopaholic dream to buy all the latest gadgets from around the world and get it delivered it right at my doorsteps in not more than a week of the launch of the product. I have been waiting for the same since my childhood to get my dream gadgets and goodies right from UK and USA. It was so easy to get anything in London from amazon UK or USA but when I came to South Africa, I did missed the service of buying anything and getting it delivered here.

Coming back to the logic of how this service works for me and you is a number of steps that we need to follow before we can start shopping and ordering stuff for ourselves.

Step 4 -Payments page will charge you USD 45 once to become a lifetime membership fees which you can pay via various online payment modes. You can also enter any coupon or deals vouchers if any. 

The best part about the AGS (Aramex Global Shopper) is that it comes with a first year Moneyback guarantee in case you are not satisfied with the service, you can ask for a refund of your money. Your active AGS account will be deactivated in  that case and you longer won't be able to use the services.

Step 5 - Once registered, you get 15 personalized physical addresses in New York, London, Shanghai, Istanbul, Dubai, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Frankfurt, Milan, Barcelona, Paris, Singapore, Ontario and Malaysia. You can use these addresses to shop from the US, UK/EU, China, Turkey, UAE, India, Hong Kong, South Africa, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Singapore, Canada and Malaysia and they will deliver them to where you live at reasonable shipping rates. To give you an idea of charges it's around R275 for around 1 kg of package for Zone 1 and R200 for Zone 2 (UAE, India and Turkey).

Step 7 - After the payment, the package will take around a week (2-6 working days) to reach your city and once you receive the package you have pay for the Custom fees or any charges pending at the time of delivery by the Aramex. 

Do check some of the unacceptable material as per the custom rules and regulations within various countries before ordering stuff from your favorite online shopping channel.

AGS Protect offers free insurance upto USD 100 and you can choose to pay for insurance for any items above USD 100 by yourself to be on the safe side. It's not compulsory to take this service. You can choose and decide based on the products you are ordering.
