WWF Soundscape Playlist Brings Nature Inside @WWFSouthAfrica #NatureMatters

Hi Friends,

To put us all back in touch with nature, WWF South Africa has launched a restful playlist of the unique sounds and features of Africa’s natural heritage for enjoyment safely at home, while observing the ongoing Covid-19 lockdown.

The WWF playlist, titled ‘Bring Nature Inside’, captures the soundscapes of our beautiful natural world and features the sounds of projects and areas where WWF is actively working.

“We wanted to allow people to experience the richness of nature. With many of us feeling overwhelmed by the current state of the world and the unique disruptions we are facing, it is imperative for us to take care of our mental and emotional well-being. Nature provides the perfect ‘escape’ that we need during this time,” says Justin Smith, head of business development at WWF South Africa.

From the enchanting sounds of rhino translocations to the soothing backdrop of a free-flowing river and the rhythmic sound of the Atlantic Ocean, each authentic track features immersive sounds with a description that brings together the beauty and significance of our natural resources and showcases the work WWF is doing to help protect South Africa’s natural heritage.

“Fostering a connection with nature during these unsettling times is essential for our well-being and a reminder of the ways in which we can look after our environment, especially as the world searches for a new normal in how we live,” says Justin.

With its 10-hour long mix of different calming and inspirational tracks, the WWF SA soundscapes can be enjoyed in any setting; whether you are working, exercising, cooking, gardening, or simply taking a break from your home desk. For access to the WWF SA Soundscape Playlist please visit wwf.org.za or click on the below links:

The soundscapes will also be available on various streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Deezer, Google Play, and Amazon. A percentage of the streaming royalties will go to support WWF SA’s ongoing conservation work, at no cost to the platform user.

“We are excited to share soundscapes with our audiences. Distance does not mean disconnect, and we hope that with this platform we can help bring some solace and peace to people in these extraordinarily trying times. At the same time, we want to highlight that nature still matters; we must continue safeguarding it so that we can all enjoy it together again in the future. As an added benefit, every time a track is streamed, WWF will earn a modest amount of much-needed money to put towards its conservation efforts,” says Justin.

Sand Dunes Beach in Mtunzini #SouthAfrica #PhotoYatra #TheLifesWayCaptures

Hi Friends,

South Africa has a lot of towns and secret beaches lining both the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. You need to travel from one end to another and you will find pristine divine beaches where you can enjoy a day with your family and loved ones.

During one of the trips to Richards Bay, we went to this town of Mtunzini around 40 km from Richards Bay and found this amazing Sand Dunes beach on the coast.

Playing football on a sunny day with a sea breezing air really makes up for a great day at the beach.

South Africa is one of the countries where Soccer, Cricket and Rugby teams compete in all the international sports and win too. Recently, in Rugby World Cup 2019 - Springboks won the title trophy 3rd time.

The walk to the beach was a long one at least some 500-750 meters long and when the wind is blowing too, then it makes it impossible as the sand particles hit you like the small pallet of bullets on your naked parts of the body.

The final view of the beach is amazing and the water is just perfect to enter the beach at this time of the day.

I totally took my time off from the camera and mobile and just lie down in the warm waters of the Indian ocean and closed my eyes. It gave me a great feeling as the same ocean also touches India on one end. It's really a fun-filled day with family and friends at the beach. Melbourne - The Most Livable City in the World @Indiblogger Contest

Hi Guys,

Australia has everything which a country can offer to it's visitors as well as citizens. Melbourne is one of the major cities in this amazing country. As per the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) it's the most livable city in the world and has been in top 3 since 2002. There must be something that must be making this city Number 1 amongst various nations and top cities.
Melbourne is the major financial capital of Australia so it offers great career opportunities. The city has a huge CBD area which has all the companies flourishing day and night.
Melbourne has everything that a metropolitan city is known for. It offers great fun, food, architecture, film movies theatre and recreational activities along with amazing night life as well as some great cultural heritage. The city has really some great eating joints and coffee places which makes this place amazing to get together.
The thing I love the most in this city is the world famous Melbourne Cricket Ground which has a history of itself and can have more than 100000 spectators in it's full capacity. This coming year Cricket World Cup will have several matches scheduled to happen in this amazing ground. India vs South Africa match is scheduled to happen in this ground on 22nd Feb 2015. The Final of 2015 Cricket World Cup will also happen in this amazing and great cricket ground. Who knows that India might again pick the trophy this year!!!
It's always great to go for a drive on the road touching the sea and Great Ocean Road gives you what Garden Route offers in South Africa. It is for those times when you feel really sad and wants to see sunset or sunrise as the drive always brings in a lot of hope. The time spent near the sea is always remembered by everyone. It gives you a calm and meditation effect.
The city has numerous beaches for your morning and evening walks as well as for some romantic getaways. It's always great to sit on the sands and watch waves touch your feet while sun takes it's route. It's always a great time in this amazing city. I wish to see myself in the city soon and enjoy whatever best this Victorian city of Melbourne has to offer.

Check out some of the amazing video's of this city enjoyed by Tanmay and Rohan -
