Hi Friends, 

Week 2 for my MTN Walk the Talk 25km walk gave me different insights into my body and general challenges to be faced in the next weeks to come. It's a really great adventure which I always wanted to do with myself and this opportunity is really great.

Overall Target Walk over the next 10 weeks and Percentage Increase over the previous week
On my 2nd Tuesday, I tipped over a scaffolding on the road, the biggest lesson it brought is that you shall never jump over things while walking or running as your feet might not perform as you want them to leading to injuries.

Secondly, it also told me that I shall always carry a small First-Aid kit on my practice runs till Week 12 and also some kind of spray to take care of swollen feet or legs.

Week 2 vs Week 1 Performance Analysis
On my 2nd Thursday, as I came from the office a bit late and after drinking tea at home, it already was 715pm when I started. I wanted to postpone the walk of 9km but somehow my willpower took over my head and I completed the same inside my building complex only.

Another biggest risk I am facing in the evening/night is to face some kind of mugging so sometimes when it's too late, I will have to cover the ground inside the apartment complex only.

Another lesson learned is that it's easier to walk outside on the road as the scenery changes and you face a different kind of uphill and downhill all the time as compared to walking inside the complex. It is much faster timewise as compared to walking in the set apartment path. Also, it keeps your enthusiasm level high on the road.

But this theory was challenged in my final Week 2 - Saturday target of 10km and it happened after a lunch party and it was so difficult to walk on the road after eating. My speed was too slow and the mood was not very great but the only motivating factor was that it was my first day with Huawei Watch GT and this Huawei watch was measuring my performance yesterday. I really loved the nudges to celebrate from 1km to 5km when it gave me a half-way mark wallpaper and then subsequently took me from 6 to 9.99km till it said 100% achieved. I really loved and it also told me about my heart rate from time to time. The Huawei Watch GT is not only comfortable to wear but the battery life is really awesome. The battery only went down by 5-7% during the whole run for more than 128 minutes.

Sony Electronics Wireless WH 1000X M3
My first thanks will go to Sony Electronics for sending their Wireless Noise Canceling Stereo Headset WH-1000X M3 which has really great battery life of 30 hours and the best part is its over-ear headphones design which I always wanted one to try and walk with. I really love the Noise cancellation on these headsets. I used them on Tuesday and Thursday this week and totally fell in love with the same.
