LUPIN Season 2 @NetflixSA #Lupin #Crime #Drama #2300Post

Hi Friends,

Lupin Second Season or the next 5 episodes were released on Netflix yesterday on 11-June-2021 and I have been waiting for the storyline to complete and eagerly people must have been wanting to see the conclusive end to Diop's revenge story. I loved watching the show but the show this time was not as engaging and everything was so clear that you could predict what's going to happen next so easily. I think it was a marketing strategy of the Netflix team to divide the show into 2 parts considering the first 5 episodes are really something worth watching and the next five are not up to the mark.

Coming to the second season, it consists of 5 episodes where they start of the beach in France and Raoul gets kidnapped. The story of chase begins which continues for some episodes and then the next episodes bring the same old story of making a girl fool as we have seen in multiple movies via chance encounters where everything is planned. This series also focussed on the friendship between Assane and Benjamin Ferel as police and Pellegrini's men both try to catch them. Some new characters are also introduced in these episodes which doesn't leave as much impact and they seem to be fake from the start and you could predict what they are up to.

A lot of flashbacks are shown as to when Assane Diop's character as a kid starts to do the first small robbery for someone he loves i.e. Claire and gets caught. Some scenes are showcased about his father getting recruited by Hubert Pellegrini. A lot of focus has been showcased on the voice calls and using some software to do the changes and making anyone fool using the extractor tools. Youssef Guedira is able to find Assane but unable to get hold of him along with the other police officers. He then becomes a whistleblower within his police force to catch all the participants in the murder of Diop's father.

#TheLifesWayReviews LUPIN Season 2 @NetflixSA #Lupin #Crime #Drama

The second season is more about daring and less about the classic theft and using the charm as showcased in the first one. There is nothing that will inspire you out of curiosity as to how Diop will perform the next robbery but it will be something you will be able to calculate and think about by yourself. But you should definitely watch the same so as to get the conclusive end of the story. It's not something you wished for but it's something that's practical and more physical. I think the director's focus has been inconsistent as far as the second season is concerned though the trailer looked good. It always happens as when you try to close some story, you try to tie us all the loose ends and in that process sometimes you are not able to create as remarkable as season 1 was where the story was building up.

It may happen with the other series Money Heist too as they are still building up the storyline in the last 4 seasons and the final season is divided into 2 parts which will give conclusive end needs to be checked if it matches the intelligence level of the professor or not? Meanwhile, we can definitely go and watch this one on our favourite platform of Netflix

RATING - 3/5

The Family Man Season 2 @PrimeVideoIN #TheFamilyManOnPrime #Thriller #Crime

Hi Friends,

It was a long wait but it was really worth it. The Family Man Season 2 arrived on 3-June-2021 on Amazon Prime Video online platform and I watched the whole 9 episodes in one evening. The web series keeps you glued to your mobile, tablet or TV screen and the story never lags behind. The wait for the second season has become longer due to the Tandav which was also launched on the Prime Video platform which raised a lot of questions about what to show and what not to show in the web series? Meanwhile, The Family Man keeps themselves glued to the right path with some verbal abuses here and there but didn't feature any religious agenda whatsoever.

Manoj Vajpayee's character Srikant Tiwari is much more irritated along with becoming a commoner with a normal 9-5 job where he tries to fit in with a much younger generation. The kids are more grown-up and play a lot of tricks to make their way through their families. The kids have an important role to play as the girl gets kidnapped and a young love story is being shown too. Priyamani's character Suchitra was not given much screen space along with Arvind played by Sharad Kelkar. It's made obvious to what was not shown in Season 1 as she goes to a Counsellor played by Asif Basra who committed suicide during the Covid-19 times. It's still made unclear as she tries to tell the truth to her husband during the last few minutes of Season 2 setting a stage for Season 3 to be launched in future. The story will move to the North-Eastern states in Season 3.

#TheLifesWayReviews The Family Man Season 2 @PrimeVideoIN #TheFamilyManOnPrime #Thriller #Crime

Season 2 is focused on Sri Lanka - Tamil Liberation Front and Indian's enforcement caught between the local government and the rebels. As the forces close on the rebels, they got attacked and had to go underground for some years before the group becomes active again from several parts of the world. London is showcased nicely in this series and even Saravanaa Bhavan which is a famous South Indian restaurant is showcased from the East Ham area and is now in other areas too. The story also takes certain ISI characters from the last season and ties us to create a new story along with explanations to the pending questions in flashbacks from episode to episode. The attack target is the PM Basu played by Seema Biswas as she supported the Sri Lankan President Lasit Rupatunga played by Abhishek Shankar. The main focus is on the life of the character Rajalakshmi Chandran (Raji) played by Samantha Akkineni. She is a trained soldier as well as a pilot who survived the attack and is hiding somewhere in Chennai in normal boring life before the Plan is activated by one of the leaders of the cause. Her background story of abduction and how she joined the rebel forces is being showcased along with the various problems faced by the women in the local transports is being showcased too. She is really swift in action sequences and is the heart of Season 2.

Sunny Hinduja plays Milind which I totally missed in Season 1 as he gained fame and fortune due to his role as Sandeep Bhaiya from TVF's Aspirants 5 episodes series. If you have not watched the same, go on Youtube and watch the 5 episodes based on UPSC Aspirants life, which is worth going to again and again. A small glimpse of a hidden advert is shown for SaReGaMa's Carvaan audio player as the teams start collaborating on catching the antagonists and they fight over the songs from Kamal Hassan's Saagar movie and Chennai TASC force member wants to play some Tamil songs.

The story really moves fast forward and also throws light on the events which happened in the past. The team continues to chase the rebels whereas they are always one step ahead and sometimes the TASC team matches them to gain information using some of their network and resources. It's really a nice second part of the series which will make you a lot happier at the end of the series but will leave with more questions that may or may not get clear in the next season. All the other characters have played their role well and also a lot of North Indian and South Indian differences are showcased as the TASC team reached Chennai and takes the help of the local enforcement officers leading to a lot of comic relief from the thrilling storyline. A small love connection is being developed between the character of JK and Umayal played by Sharib Hashmi and Devadarshini. The friendship shown between Srikant and JK is something that you will also want in your life as to someone with whom you can share your heart without being judged. I really admired all the sequences between them throughout Season 1 and 2. I think my heart desires someone with whom I can do so too. Overall, you won't go wrong with this one and will leave you wanting more action and wanting to revise Season 1 again. Maybe you should watch Season 1 now and Season 2 tomorrow. Cheers!!!

RATING - 4/5

SHOOTER Season 2 @NetflixSA #TVSeries #Action #Shooter

Hi Friends,

Shooter Season 2 focussed on a little bit of International action where the so-called Solotov which was mentioned a little in Season 1 becomes the number 1 enemy in Season 2 as he tries to take on all the squad from unit 8113 as they go to Germany to receive some medal for a marine where they get attacked.

In the second season also, there are double-crossings again and again and the actions also switch to Germany, Mexico, and the USA. Solotov is played by Josh Stewart showcased as Chechen sniper who fought with Russia during the Chechen war and is being taken under their control by Atlas. He has played his character perfectly great and looks like a real assassin.

Shooter Season 2 only has 8 episodes of 45 minutes each which were first broadcasted on the USA network from July 18 to Sep 5th, 2017 and now are available for bing watch on Netflix digital platform and app. I binge-watched all the episodes from Season 1 to Season 3 on Netflix. Season 2 is one of the most interesting as the enemy also is too strong and an equal Sniper and great in his talents too. He is shown too good that he befriends Swagger's wife Julie and is invited to the Church festival of their kid Mary.
#TheLifesWayReviews - SHOOTER Season 2 @NetflixSA #TVSeries #Action #Shooter
Most of the characters are the same as Bob Lee Swagger is played by Ryan Phillippe, Julie played by Shantel VanSanten and daughter Mary played by Lexy Kolker. Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Nadine Memphis and Omar Epps as Isaac Johnson continue to play their characters well enough. Jaina Lee Ortiz plays Angela Tio who is currently serving as a Marine and is a great addition to the star cast. Patrick Sabongui as Yusuf Ali also one of the Marines and goes till Mexico with Bob Lee before being killed by Solotov. Todd Lowe as Colin Dobbs also plays one of the marines with Swagger and helps him identify the shooters location in Germany and also his neighbor in Texas. Jerry Ferrara as Kirk Zehnder who identifies the Atlas conspiracy and goes underground after faking his own death.

The story revolves around the assignment in Afghanistan when the unit 8113 was together and they come across opium which actually belongs to the CIA agent Meachum and the wife of the drug dealer are taken into custody by the marines. Solotov comes as a UN Doctor to take the wife away and kills her during an attack on the convoy. But as Donny interprets that it is his doing they take away the badge of Solotov and keep it at the base whereas all the others in the unit saw the face of the agent. This led to Solotov killing them one by one as Atlas raises a question on his performance to be assigned more tasks as it could be backtracked to them.

Overall, the Season 2 is in continuation of the story and you will enjoy watching some of the action in Afghanistan in the flashback and also in some of the new countries introduced in this season.  Bob Lee Swagger continues to do what he does best - HUNT. RATING 3.5/5

#TheLifesWayReviews - Sacred Games Season 2 @NetflixSA TV Series #Mystery #Drama #SacredGames2

Hi Friends,

Sacred Games Season 1 really made the Indian TV Series market look great and worthy of making an investment by many of the producers, directors and OTT content providers and Video On Demand services. People came to know about the series via word of mouth and social media channels were flooded with clips and memes. I was not aware of the series last year and didn't have Netflix connection at that time so watched the same a little later when everyone around me has already watched it.

This time the story was different as I had a working Netflix connection gratefully provided by the brand for 6 months which will end soon and on the Independence Day of India 15th August 12am IST, the show's 8 episodes were made available to the subscribed public. I only started watching the season on Thursday evening after work and watched the first 5 episodes till my eyes got closed. I downloaded the rest 3 episodes in the Netflix app to watch on Friday evening and finished the same till dinner time.

I really loved that the Croatia Ashram is none other than the Freedom Park in Pretoria, South Africa which is visible from the National Highway whenever I drive towards the city. Now I will definitely make a visit to this historical museum. Also, I could relate as my neighbors met the cast esp Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pankaj, and Kalki when they were traveling by Ethiopian Airlines on their way to Pretoria and Pankaj Tripathi was sitting in the general category airplane seats only whereas others were in Business Class.
#TheLifesWayReviews - Sacred Games Season 2 @NetflixSA TV Series #Mystery #Drama
Season 2 starts with the same mystery which kept us hanging at the end of Season 1 and all the episodes throughout out the series. Now with the 16 episodes, you can actually binge the whole series once again to check out what happened when. The second season is more ruthless in terms of killings and actions showcased on the series. Some scenes are really disturbing and I had to make my way through them without any judgments and thoughts.

Season 2 brings in some new characters as the show brings in the twists and turns provided by Guruji and a brief into his life too. Also, Kenya is the new platform to work for Gaitonde as he leaves Bombay in the last season after attacked by Issa. This season is full of new characters and many of them live a short life of 2-3 episodes in this season. The scientist in the last scene was the funniest as she kept using the random pattern as if the bomb is her mobile phone pattern without any knowledge. Do watch the Sacred Games Season 2 and I hope that you won't want to see the next seasons as it's not as great as the first one and it's going on the path of LOST TV series.

Acting-wise, this is fully Pankaj Tripathi's show along with Nawazuddin performances and Kalki has some dialogues in between in broken Hindi. The best new characters in Season 2 is Saxena Ji from Bhabhi Ji Ghar pe hai fame (Saanand Verma) who played a Kenyan Gujrati trader whom Gaitonde made into a local don on the ask of Kusum Devi Yadav an Indian Intelligence Agent played by Amruta Subhash in search of Shahid Khan played by Ranvir Shorey. Malcolm doesn't look so dangerous as in Season 1 and Surveen Chawla played her character of Jojo nicely. Overall, Sacred Games Season 2 can also be called as Once Upon A Time in The Life of - - - and they give you stories of each character introduced in this as well as the previous season.

Cheers!!!
