A Memoir - This Month Last Year - May 2014

Hi Guys,

May is the month when winters starts setting in here in Johannesburg. Last year I didn't posted much of posts which I will try to correct this year. 

1. Blogadda & Starsports - Cricket Crazy Pepsi IPL Fans - http://www.thelifesway.com/2014/05/blogadda-starsports-cricket-crazy-pepsi.html This was a contest post for blogadda and I didn't win anything but post reached top posts on my blog in terms of pageviews very soon. 

2. Product Review - HUAWEI E3121 HSPA USB Datacard - http://www.thelifesway.com/2014/05/product-review-huawei-e3121-hspa-usb.html - It's always great to blog about the products you have bought as you have good time to use and test the same. The post got some great readers as data cards is an everyday necessity.

3. Product Review - Skullcandy Titan Supreme Sound Earphones - http://www.thelifesway.com/2014/05/product-review-skullcandy-titan-supreme.html - Earphones and headphones are always my first love and these were going for sale price as a discount. These are nice for a daily use as they offer great audio quality. 

4. Product Review - Royal Dansk Oat & Cranberry Cookies - http://www.thelifesway.com/2014/05/product-review-royal-dansk-oat.html - The cookies were awesome to eat and I really liked writing about them. 

5. Indiblogger & Sunsilk - Naturally Recharged - http://www.thelifesway.com/2014/05/indiblogger-sunsilk-naturally-recharged.html - This was another contest post from Indiblogger but I didn't won anything for the same. But I really loved writing the first post for Sunsilk and their products.

A Memoir - This Month Last Year - March 2014 #TheLifesWay #PhotoYatra

Hi Guys,

March is the month of appraisal, bonus announcements, ratings, reviews and a lot of negotiations & discussions. It's the month where budget is discussed in detail and news will feature all the top leaders and industrialists to give their comments on the economy as a whole. 

I was so busy in March last year that I almost posted some of the Indiblogger contest posts which I never won and other twitter posts. Some of the posts are about goodies which I won here in Johannesburg.

1. Product Review – Seagate Expansion Desktop Drive – 3 TB- We all need memory to capture all the data we have collected through several sources. With blu-ray quality movies which takes more than 7GB space per movie, you are always short on the portable hard disk capacities. I thought about it and bought a desktop version of HDD for 3TB which gave me around 2.72GB space for myself. I immediately cleaned all my devices and put everything in the same. Now this year, I can see there is hardly 250GB space left in the same too and 4TB is already available in the market to buy. It's a vicious circle dear friends, I should delete some of the old data and movies. 

2. Valentine's date with New Balance @BallzRadio - This was one of the best days of my life when I got the New Balance FRESH FOAM running shoes for free by participating in the fun run called runnovation. I tweeted a lot about the event and won the first prize of shoes for myself worth R1200. I still wear them comfortably and wants this event to happen again sometime this year. 

3. Photo Walk - Wild Safaris in South Africa - I love photography and I try to click a lot of photographs which I realized yesterday only are total waste & crap and can't be used anywhere. So I thought that I will take some time to frame and then will capture the beauty instead of just clicking randomly. South Africa is a beautiful place to learn a lot of photography of landscape, wildlife and action. I will try to make the best use of the same. 

4. Product Review - Kjeldsens - Oat & Cranberry Cookies - Sometimes in life you try something new and become fan of the same immediately. It happened with me when I tried Royal Dansk cookies and contacted the company also. I received some packs to review which I did and received this mug and spoon also.  I love #goodies because those are things you can't buy as they are branded by the company and are only available to them.

5. Twitter Goodies - Incredible Connection #Selfie Contest - I love #twitter as I used to win a lot of contests in India and when I came here, I missed the same for a while. I only won my first contest in March and received these goodies. I always wanted a USB LED light and finally received one. Thank you Universe! #grateful Remember I love #goodies also received Canon goodies from Makro and NuMetro movie tickets from Fox Star Movies South Africa.

Enjoy and have fun always as it will keep you happy! The happier you are, the more you are in touch with your luck and then you receive a lot of #goodies! I love them all!

Product Review - Royal Dansk Oat & Cranberry Cookies

Hi Guys,

Being the final packet of cookies I received from Royal Dansk from the Kelsen Group, I wanted to eat them as later as possible. Finally a day arrived when I was in full mood to enjoy the awesome taste of these cookies. I really love cranberrry and have bought a lot of dried cranberries from various stores here in Johannesburg. Cookies containing cranberries really provide the taste and nutritious values. 

 All these cookies are so light and fresh in taste that you will definitely fall in love with them. I saw them at the airport in cans and really wanted to buy them. I am a fan of all Royal Dansk products I have tasted, despite don't liking chocolate cookies in general. Try one for yourself and you will cherish the taste.

I thank Royal Dansk team once again for sending me these awesome products from Denmark. Looking forward to receive more of them in future. Also, they have a running contest on their facebook page for the rest of the year where you will not only win their cookie tins but also the tea mug, notepad, pen etc along with a chance to win some holidays in the luxurious hotels around your city in South Africa.

Product Review - Royal Dansk Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hi Guys, 

Royal Dansk Chocolate Chip Cookies are great biscuits which you can have whenever you need to have some fun tingling with your taste buds. It’s really for all those people who love chocolate cookies. 

Being from the same brand Kelsen Group, the quality is always top class. Every penny you pay for the pack is worth the taste and satisfaction you get from each cookie. I have loved them and during EASTER long weekend, I offered them to my friends also. They also liked it and small pack of 100g was over in no time. It contains only 12 cookies so in a way, you can calculate how much cookies you will get as Royal Dansk have benchmarked their cookies. Every 25g is made up of 3 cookies. 

I generally don’t like Chocolate biscuits but these ones I really loved to eat. Try it out and you will enjoy them a lot over a cup of tea or hot milk. Follow them on Facebook & pinterest

Product Review - Royal Dansk Danish Butter Cookies

Hi Guys, 

Some things in life brings back your childhood and I became a child when I opened the pack of Royal Dansk Danish Butter Cookies from the house of Kelsen Group. I skipped my regular meal wanting to eat all the pack of 15 rich & mouth watering tasty biscuits just like I used to do when I was a kid for some of my favorite eating stuff.

I got these Butter Cookies pack from Royal Dansk to blog about the same but unlike regular winners (on facebook) who wins a big TIN of cookies, I got this small pack of 125grams. I am now jealous of all the winners who not only wins these divine tasting cookies but also a chance to win awesome holidays every quarter. The Royal Dansk Butter cookies in the box comes in a silver metallic foil which keeps the freshness intact. Unlike my last experience with Kjeldsens - Oat & Cranberry Cookies I didn't threw the packing which really helped my cookies to stay fresh without any moisture entering them. 

If you really want to try some new cookies which are way beyond what you have ate in Fournos or any other bakery, do buy a pack and try it for yourself. These are not only great but also leaves a butter taste on your tongue to feel the richness of the product for some time. The sweetness of the cookies is just perfect and I shared the pack with my friends from work. They wanted more of it and my leftover cookies were over in no time.

Now I am really looking forward to win the big TIN on Royal Dansk - Easter goodies contest or I can accept these cookies for the review of any of your products. :-) I would definitely recommend that you can think of these cookies to gift to your loved ones this festival season.

The 125grams box contains 3 cookies each in 5 textures and each one plays a different game with your tongue. I really loved all of them and I want some more of them asap. Product Review - Kjeldsens - Oat & Cranberry Cookies

Hi Guys,

Pick n Pay is one of the groceries store here in South Africa and I usually purchase all my groceries from there only. It also offers loyalty schemes on every shopping you do so you get back 1% of your money back in points. One fine day, I went to one of it's biggest stores in Woodmead and came across a promotional scheme where if you shop for more than R500 you can spin the wheel and win some goodies from the store. 

I was lucky enough to win a package containing a lot of eatables and came across these cookies from Denmark. As you know, Cranberries is my favourite and having them in Oat cookies was icing on the cake. 

The brand Kjeldsens belongs to Kelsen Group from Denmark and also has the @Royal_Dansk_SA Cookies (www.royal-dansk.com) under it's umbrella. The best thing about these cookies are that they are all imported from Denmark and not packed/produced here or anywhere else in the world other than Denmark. 

I opened the packet and came across a silver packing inside the cardboard box and there inside the cookies were nicely packed. As soon I started eating one cookie, I felt awesome taste and great rich flavour. I really liked the light cookies with great health benefits. Oats and cranberries are both good for your health rather than any other normal biscuits. 

The mistake I did after enjoying some of the cookies is that I threw the silver foiled thing that biscuits came in and put remaining cookies just like that in the cardboard box. After some days when I ate the cookies, it was kind of turned soft due to some of the moisture that it took from the surroundings. As winters are coming in Johannesburg, my cookies turned soft and I really felt bad. But still with Tea, the cookies taste nice. Thanks a lot to Pick n Pay for giving me an opportunity to eat some nice cookies and that too for free, though I had to do shopping more than R500, which any which ways I had to that day.
