The best part about these pens is their clip, and that's how it feels like it's made of mirror. The pens write beautifully with their unique design in a brushed metal body made of stainless steel. The best part about the pens is that they can be handed over to your future generations as well.
Parker 25 Stainless Steel Pen comes with a fibre-tip refill. This one is out of market from so long ago, and this is just a showpiece pen now. Any other refills don't go into this pen as the grip section hole is a little bit bigger than the general Parker ball pen refills. Let me know if any refill can be used to do some kind of hack for this one.
The refills hack for this one is available in the United Kingdom for anything more than GBP 20 onwards, and I don't think I love this pen so much to spend that kind of money on an older pen body.
Moonman, a brand from China, also released its own version of this body design called Moonman B25 Model in the fountain pen range. The quality of Parker pens is really great. I have been a fan of this brand since my childhood. For almost 75% of my life, I have been carrying my Parker Vector as a prized possession. I then later ventured into the other Parker range of products, but was still glued to Parker Vector. I am still chasing the Parker Duofold Fountain Pen from their range of products.

This is one of the best-looking pens I have had in my arsenal for the past several years. I bought the same in one of the daily deals from the online retailer - One Day Only in South Africa. I really love the metallic grip and the purple body with awesome texture.
OneDayOnlyCoZa usually has a stationery sale once or twice a fortnight and they are selling various local brands along with the esteemed Parker Pens. This used to be my most expensive pen as I had never bought such an expensive pen before.

I have been a fan of Stationery items and Pens and when it comes to brands like Parker, I have bought numerous pens in all shapes and sizes from them. Here is a look at one of the pens from the Parker IM Premium Pens series. This is a 0.5mm rollerball pen and I bought it for its gift package it came with a beautiful white diary from Onedayonly online retailer. Enjoy and subscribe to my channel.
I used the white diary as my daily journal and used it for some months. This pen has a really nice texture to the same and I have been using the same off and on. It's still in my inventory and I have kept it safe amongst all the expensive pens I have owned over the years. I think I bought it for around ZAR 500 from the OnedayOnly sale whereas the actual price of the pen was more.
This pen is heavier as the body of the same is metallic and it can be refilled with a new roller ball refill in the nib size of your choice. I will definitely go for the Extra fine tip once the original refill gets finished.

I have always loved the Parker Pens and Jotter has been on my list of items to own since the start. I have owned it at various points in my life but for many years this is the only one I have. I have not used it at all and is in mint condition only for the video to be shot. I totally loved the click sound but when someone else is making it, it's very irritating.
Check out the same as this is also medium tip 1.0 mm which I don't like much but don't know if there is any other variation available in the Parker Ballpoint pens. I bought it from Onedayonly online sale but now the pen is available at various stores for ZAR 99 each whereas the one-day only charges a courier fee of around ZAR60 on top of the price of the pen.
This pen now comes in so many colours that there is a special package as well where you get 36 Parker Jotter pens in all different body colours. I can review the same if Parker Pen UK sends me the same.

Parken Pens has been my partner since the start and I have used various ball pens, roller ball pens and fountain pens from the brand offerings mainly the Parker Vector Series. Parker Vector is cheap and affordable with the right quality to last you long if you take care of the same. I have used their rollerball pens for years in the Lord Ganesha edition which I bought twice as the design gets faded out eventually.
After using the same for multiple years, I wanted to try their other series of fountain pens so I bought this one from the online retailer which was offering the same at a discount. Thanks to OneDayOnly daily deals again initiated me into buying some of the products I like. This one is totally paid for by me and I used the coupon code from the FNB eBucks app to get ZAR 75 discount so the courier charges were waived as they charge ZAR 59 for courier fees for every order.
This Parker Pen Vector XL Fountain pen was around ZAR 329 in the daily deal and I got it at that price. Available in multiple body colours too. I am still to get my hands set on this one but the pen body really feels balanced in your hands and looks premium too.
The cap and barrel of the pen are generally of the same metallic colour with a transparent section where you will see the feed and the nib and the ink flowing into the same when you get that cartridge fit the first time ever. This is really a great pen but the Medium nib that came with the same feels like a broad to me. The nib is bigger than the other pens on this one for sure. Maybe it's size 5 as it feels bigger than all of my other pens especially Lamy Safari in EF and the same as Lamy LX in M nib.
The weight of the pen is only 17 grams with a posted length of 13.5 cm and a diameter of 12mm only.
The stainless-steel nib is complimented by a distinctive ‘X’ engraving making it come directly out of the X-men series. The pen overall provides a comfortable and consistent writing experience when writing for longer periods as it writes in a bold distinctive style and there is something unique about writing with this pen.
The cap of the pen has a Parker logo itched in a circular steel design and the clip also looks great and is different from the other pens I have. The clip is a little bit longer and elevated if you see it sideways.
The pen is a combination of plastic and metal body with everything in a little bit grand style statement. I totally love the pen as it retails for around ZAR 420 each on Write Gear website and is available in 5 colours namely Blue, Teal, Black, Green and Lilac. I totally fell in love with the Teal colour but it was not on sale at OneDayonly from where I bought it. You can also pick up this pen at the same price from any retailer around you as well like Stationery & Print in Sandton City.
Thanks to Onedayonlycoza for the R100 discount I got on the pen. I will keep a lookout for the same in the future as well as Parker Pens keeps coming on huge discounts on the online platform. Till that time....keep writing!!!

I bought another deal from OneDayOnly as I got the email saying that there is a scheme or day deal coming well in advance. It's just like a tracking cookie where they knew my interests and matched them to what I want to buy. They then sent the email 2 days in advance before the deal went live.
I was the first one to make use of it too as I ordered the same within the first few minutes of launching the deal on OneDayOnlyCoZA. I bought 2 of these so that I can make use of a voucher to get a courier free of charge. The pen cost me around ZAR 219 each and looks great in this red colour and brushed steel cap. I am using the Parker Vector fountain pens for many years now and maybe started using them way back in 1997 when I could afford them. Earlier I used Parker pens but in ballpoint or roller ball version. Parker Vector pens are the most used pen in my life since school time. I must be having more than 15-20 Parker pens in total. That's nearly 25 years of personal history with the brand.
When I could not afford the Parker pens then I would try to win them as well. I still remember that I won the Yellow Parker Ballpoint pen from NIIT at PVR Saket in New Delhi. Then one or two came to me via the Australia Tourism quiz contest. One from Switzerland tourism if I am not wrong. Then I used to buy the Ganesh edition of Parker Vector in Roller Ball and Ballpoint versions. I always wanted to buy a Dollar USD Parker Vector edition but could never find the same at shop. When Flipkart and Amazon started selling in India, I bought the Parker Vector Fountain Pens from them as well.
This is the first time I ventured into the new range of fountain pens from Parker after spending some time buying some Lamy & Pilot Fountain Pens last year for the very first time. I bought this pen as the retail price was around ZAR 560 and I got it for ZAR 220 so it was a good choice to buy.
This Parker Pen is a really slim design, lightweight with a little bit of weight to make it feel premium. The brushed metal cap makes it look great overall. There are three colours the cap is one colour i.e. steel, the barrel is another which is available in RED and BLUE colours and the section is black in colour with a steel ring at the edge just before the nib. The nib has Parker written with an arrow sign going forward whereas the clip has arrows pointing downward making it great to look at.
Coming to the writing quality, this pen comes with a medium nib and a blue cartridge in the box. As soon as you insert the cartridge the feed gets filled with ink and the pen is ready to write on the paper. The medium nib on this pen is smooth and there is the right amount of ink and flow going on the paper. I totally love writing using this pen as you will see in the video. I am using the same to write my daily gratitude journal as well. This one smoothly glides on all kinds of paper and the way your hand feels with this pen is amazing. You can write for as many hours as you want non-stop using this beautiful fountain pen.

I bought a lot of fountain pens last year from several brands like Lamy, Pilot, Amazon Basics and Parker as well though I have been using Parker Vector Fountain pens for more than 20 years. I have had three in different body colours.
The Parker pens I had came with plastic piston ink converters along with some cartridges as well. I have always thought that the cartridges were as expensive as compared to the converters. But slowly and steadily all kinds of converters develop some kind of leakages etc and are no longer fit for use as it happened recently in one of my Vector Foutain Pens from Parker Pens. But it's understandable as I was using the said pen for the last 15 years so the quality has lasted a long time. Immediately I switched to the Parker Cartridges I have available with me.
My Pilot Metropolitan Fountain Pen I bought last year from a Stationery & Print shop in Sandton city came with a squeeze converter. I am sure most of the Pilot fountain pens come with the squeeze converter or the cartridge. When I bought it despite my gut feeling, I bought it with the squeeze convertor option though the cartridge option was also available at the store. I have had a long history during school time with squeeze converters as it has wasted my valuable time sorting them out instead of studying.
Since the time I bought the Pilot Metropolitan fountain pen, I have been delighted by my purchase and went on to buy some more branded fountain pens as well. Some days back, when the ink finished in the Pilot Fountain Pen, I saw that the rubber has contracted and joined at some places. I have never put the pen in sunlight and it's always under the desk where no light reaches. I have had the misfortune as the rubber expended or contracted and started touching the barrel of the pen. It led to the whole socket coming out of the tip of the fountain pen.
I tried to wash it and blow it up with air but it didn't bring the rubber back into its original state. I also tried to refill it but it also didn't work as now it was taking much less ink like 5-6 drops. I immediately went into some kind of experiment mode as I didn't have Pilot cartridges available with me and I have to use this pen daily for my journaling.
There were some options available to me -
The easiest option was to replace the squeeze convertor with the Pilot pen original fountain pen cartridges. I didn't want to buy the cartridges from the South African stores as it's costly here (ZAR 50) for 5 compared to ZAR 20 in India. Also, I will have to go to the store and get them from there. The pen cost me only around ZAR 200 and now I can not spend ZAR 50 for just 5 cartridges.
Second, is to use the empty cartridges of the Pilot Hi-Tecpoint 0.7 Cartridge System which fits easily into the fountain pen as well. This is a unique design for all fountain pens. If you are using any of the refillable rollerball pens from Pilot, that is definitely a fit for the fountain pens as well. I bought one in India and my daughter was using the same here. She finished the same and it was there in one of the giveaway charity bags I saw it there and immediately it was a brainer to use it. But then fountain pen ink will waste this pen as it can be refilled with its own cartridges and ink that's not available in South Africa.
Lastly, is to use the Parker pen cartridge using some jugaad that I did to make a cartridge that fits the Pilot pens perfectly well without any leakage. I did deploy this arrangement because this was the easiest one and can be done at the same time. I have empty cartridges available to me because Parker Fountain Pens come with a casing to keep 3 cartridges in a travel case that came free with the Parker Vector pens. I have had 2 of these cases for a long long time and somehow remained there till this time ready for the jugaad to happen.
The whole process is explained in the video I shot and available on my YT channel. The steps are simple take a knife or cutter to cut the blue portion out and then from the cartridge take the blue portion leftover ring out. Fill the ink with a syringe (1ml) that's available in the market for ZAR 2 only at Dischem. Push the cartridge into the fountain pen body and your pen is ready to write again as much as you want.
