Stationery Review 260 - Parker 51 Mechanical Pencil

Hi Friends, 

I bought this Parker 51 Mechanical Pencil that I had wanted for so long. This is a great design, one with a gold-plated cap and clip. I bought this from an auction for ZAR 700. Check it out! 

This is what we can call luxury by being gold plated with an even number to represent the batch and date, etc, to check on the validity of the same. This is really a great, balanced pencil that I am definitely keeping in my collection of writing instruments. I should name my collection something like lekhni or kalam or something on those lines!

Stationery Review 238 - Parker 25 Fountain Pen (Steel)

Hi Friends, 

Parker 25 Stainless Steel Fountain Pen comes with a steel medium nib and a silicon ink converter. This one has been out of the market since 1989, and it has just been replaced by the Parker Vector fountain pen, now in the modern world. As I was writing with the same, I could feel that it's just a similar writing experience to my Parker Vector fountain pens. The nib design is also similar as it's curved on the end where they are joined with the feed. 

Moonman, a brand from China, also released its own version of this body design called Moonman B25 Model in the fountain pen range. The same is available at WriteSpoke in Johannesburg, South Africa, for around ZAR 350 each, and the ballpoint version is for ZAR 300 only. I bought this Parker IM Brushed Metal Chrome Trim Gift Set, which has a mechanical pencil and ball pen. I really loved the metallic design of these Parker pens. The quality of Parker pens is really great. I have been a fan of this brand since my childhood. For almost 75% of my life, I have been carrying my Parker Vector as a prized possession. I then later ventured into the other Parker range of products, but was still glued to Parker Vector. I am still chasing the Parker Duofold Fountain Pen from their range of products.

Stationery Review 58: Parker IM Premium Rollerball Pen (Brown) for ZAR 500

Hi Friends, 

I have been a fan of Stationery items and Pens and when it comes to brands like Parker, I have bought numerous pens in all shapes and sizes from them. Here is a look at one of the pens from the Parker IM Premium Pens series. This is a 0.5mm rollerball pen and I bought it for its gift package it came with a beautiful white diary from Onedayonly online retailer. Enjoy and subscribe to my channel.

I used the white diary as my daily journal and used it for some months. This pen has a really nice texture to the same and I have been using the same off and on. It's still in my inventory and I have kept it safe amongst all the expensive pens I have owned over the years. I think I bought it for around ZAR 500 from the OnedayOnly sale whereas the actual price of the pen was more. 

This pen is heavier as the body of the same is metallic and it can be refilled with a new roller ball refill in the nib size of your choice. I will definitely go for the Extra fine tip once the original refill gets finished.
