Stationery Review 243 - Kaco Gel Pen (0.5mm)

Hi Friends,

I got the Kaco Gel Pen with a 0.5 mm refill, and it writes beautifully. This pen came in the goodies bag of the Oppo Reno launch event long back. 

This is almost the same as the Rotring pen design, which Kaco got inspiration from is what my feeling is. Check it out, and it's available at AliExpress and some pen online retailers in the USA and the UK.

Stationery Review 229 - Pilot Juice Gel Pen 0.7mm (ZAR 25)

Stationery Review 183 - 6 Pack Fountain Pen & Highlighters

Hi Friends, 

I bought this 6-pen pack of fountain pens and highlighters built into one pen. The ink tanks for both sides are different. One side takes ink cartridges, whereas the highlighter ink is sealed. These are really made for students in school or college. 

These are really cheap fountain pens which have no branded nib, and they have a medium tip. The ink cartridge's capacity is small, but you can fill it using a syringe once the initial capacity is empty. Check them out! 

I bought them specifically from a shop in Los Angeles, which was a 5-dollar shop with a lot of products all marked at USD 5 only, but there were some exceptions to the price, as some were more than USD 5 as well. I found them there, and these ones were around ZAR 6 or 7 USD.

Stationery Review 180 - Jinhao Dadao 9013 White Fountain Pen with Heartbeat (F) Nib ZAR 350

Hi Friends,

I bought this Jinhao Dadao 9013 White Fountain Pen with Heartbeat Fine nib from Facebook Marketplace. The guy who sold me these bought them from the WriteSpoke Online Store in Johannesburg, South Africa. The 9013 pen is available in Black, Red, Green, White, and Yellow with a little bit of stars in the pen material. The glitter is not that much that it looks like a girl's edition but it's like just a pinch. 

The individual pen is priced at ZAR 350 and a set of 5 is available at ZAR 1500 only making it ZAR 300 for each of them. Also, there are two nib variants, medium to fine that are currently available at WriteSpoke. Some of the pens are in translucent body design and they all come with an ink converter.

As I told you in the video as well these pens' grip is really wide so it won't be suitable for every person but only those who like writing with thinner ones. As we progress in the Dadao series from 9013 to 9016 to 9019 the same keeps on increasing so go this route only if you love bulkier pens in girth. They are lightweight though despite their big sizes but it will take some time to adjust to them. I am also struggling a little bit with the same but I will overcome it in some time for sure.

Stationery Review 178 - Moonman N2 Mini Fountain Pen (EF) ZAR 650

Hi Friends,

I bought this Moonman N2 pen in the second-hand pen market but the guy bought it from WriteSpoke and a link is also provided so that you can see it there. I really liked this mini fountain pen which is available in multiple colors at WriteSpoke and really loved the blue one. The pen writes really smoothly and is really lightweight.

The extra-fine nib in Moonman N2 is excellent, and it writes smoothly. This pen needs to be used posted else the length is too small for my hands. The pen is a perfect play in your hands even when you are not writing with the same. It really will attract a lot of attention from people around you even when you are playing with the same. I always wanted to try Moonman pens so I bought them. Mellows has opened their second shop in F block - F09 that masters stationery items and has a wide variety of wonderful and unique products not seen anywhere else in the China mall. Definitely worth a visit and I bought these Fountain pens set with cartridges in black colour built into the package for only ZAR 30 which is around USD 1.5.

Stationery Review 76: Radius i-Pen Ballpoint Pens (0.5mm)

Hi Friends,

Radius Pens is an Indian Writing Instruments company and I got their colourful ink ballpoint pens. This is different from the previous versions as this one has a 0.5mm tip that I like much more than the bolder versions. Check them out!

Radius i-Pen is really good as it's the fine tip and I love the same. This comes in 8 colours and may be more but I only had 8 of them. I totally loved the Turquoise, Orange and Pink coloured ball pen ink.

I bought these Schenider Voyage Fountain Pens in Blue and Green Designs. I purchased the same from the Loot.co.za website for ZAR 67 each as I didn't see them anywhere else in South Africa. Check them out.

During the recent sale, the same was going for ZAR 49 as well on the website. I have not seen the various other variants that Schneider has. I have not seen them in any other shops as well in South Africa. So, if you want to buy them just get them from Loot online shop. I really love the design and it's really a good one.

Stationery Review 62: Deli Arris Ball Point Pen Bought at R2.50 Each

Hi Friends, 

Buying stationery is one of the biggest tasks parents undertake in the first or second week of January each year before the start of the term. Kids keep on losing stuff and as they grow older they want more and more in their writing and school kits. I too am a big fan of stationery and if something new catches my attention I am always on the lookout for new Pens or writing notepads. 

China Mall - Much Better Living Shop is my favourite along with Mellows on the ground floor as they have unique stationery products. Mellows is no longer selling to retail customers but the other one is fully packed every day all days of the week. For the Deli Arris Ballpoint pens, I bought the whole pack of 12 pens for only R30. If you buy more than 6 or 10 packets then the price will reduce further but that's not advisable as the new products keep coming to the shop. The colour of the ink is light blue and comes in 4 body colours in the package. The pen tip is 0.7mm but feels like 0.5mm and there has been no leakage. Check them out. Thanks

Mellows have now opened their separate stationery shop F9 in China Mall the new section where they have some other shops. You can find a lot more stationery products from Deli brands at great prices.

Here is a look at one of the pens from the Parker Urban Premium Pens series. This is a ball pen and I bought it for its premium Purple colour from Onedayonly online retailer. I am a big fan of fountain pens but that's top-of-the-range pens so goes really fast in a sale. This is one of the best-looking pens I have had in my arsenal for the past several years. I bought the same in one of the daily deals from the online retailer - One Day Only in South Africa. I really love the metallic grip and the purple body with awesome texture. 

OneDayOnlyCoZa usually has a stationery sale once or twice a fortnight and they are selling various local brands along with the esteemed Parker Pens. This used to be my most expensive pen as I had never bought such an expensive pen before.

Stationery Review 46: Snowhite T800 Roller Ball Pen (0.5mm)

I got these Krish Pens XDH in pastel colour bodies that are really lightweight and perfect for school and office alike. These pens are definitely use and thrown but can be refilled as well.
