A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Oct 2019 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay #PhotoYatra

 Hi Friends,

It's been many months since I started focussing on my Youtube channel and now I keep myself occupied in a lot of self-development activities like reading books and listening to audiobooks a lot on various platforms from Kindle to Audible to Skillshare and Udemy. It feels great to see that it will be 8th year of The Life's Way and what is going to be there in the future is always welcome. I need to have the right kind of attitude towards getting what I deserve and making my place in the tech industry. Meanwhile, I posted around 30 videos in October on my Youtube channel from various parts of life.

Last year in October is was the time to check out the various shows and Comic-Con too and this post is about all those moments -

1. Love The Lights and Spread The Love @HPCHydePark #50andFabulous #HPCturns50 - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/10/love-lights-and-spread-love-hpchydepark.html - Hyde Park invited us to the launch event and this was one of the events where I could go with family and they too enjoyed a good evening at the Hyde Park.

2. @HuaweiZA Launches It's Latest & Greatest Wearable: The #HuaweiWatchGT2 #AttitudeisEverything - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/10/huaweiza-launches-its-latest-greatest.html - Huawei invited me to one of the morning exercise programs for media and celebrity guests at a gym in Sunninghill and it was really awesome. Not only our team won the whole morning but also received Huawei FreeLace and Huawei SmartScale too as the winners. I also got a nice Tshirt and shorts for my daily running or walking along with a towel. Thanks to Huawei for inviting me to the event.

3. JASON GOLIATH – #MANSTRUATION: Surviving a Wife ONE-MAN SHOW - https://www.thelifesway.com/2019/10/jason-goliath-manstruation-surviving.html - This is one of the best shows I attended last year and there were so many learnings along with the laughter that came with the show. If you ever get a chance, do visit this show with your wife.

4. @ComicConAfrica Ends On A High Note #ComicConAfrica #ReedExpoAfrica #Reedpop - Comic-Con was too big and the launch event was awesome too but I could not attend all of them. I visited the same with my family and got some great moments to enjoy at the show. From getting some photos shot at the KFC and getting a T-shirt to playing Nerf and checking out various Lego toys along with BIC stationery items on the last day of the show, I totally loved the show. My only regret was one of the radio stations who was giving some popcorns or lollies which I tried to receive 3 times but they rejected me thrice and it was really irritating to me.

5. You Don't Need to Know the Rules to Enjoy #RWC2019 @Heineken_SA #TeamHeineken @RosebankTheZone - I went to check out the Heineken pop-up bar for the Rugby World Cup 2019 and I really went and tried to win but that day all the prizes were almost over and I only won the bottle opener. Then as the universe wanted to play out, I received a Whatsapp message from one of the known PR girls who were, fortunately, working on the Heineken account asking for my address to send some of the goodies and soon I got all the goodies I wanted from replica rugby ball and a great T-shirt which I really loved in green colour. I even wore the same on the finals which Springboks won in 2019.

I have seen over the years that no matter what I want or desire, sooner or later I attract the same into my life via the Law of Attraction and The Secret philosophy. I am really happy that I got all these invites in October 2019 and all the goodies I got in October 2019. Looking forward to having a great time in December when my blog celebrates its 8th anniversary.

Cheers!!!

JASON GOLIATH – #MANSTRUATION: Surviving a Wife ONE-MAN SHOW

Hi Friends,

I have been to many shows but never I have been to a show that changed my life for the good. The show as not only comical but also with learning that will take you places in your relationships. I really loved the show and you shall not miss it whenever it opens next in case you missed it in the city of Johannesburg. Jason is at the top of his game and the way he takes you through his married life and learnings is awesome and will leave you in laughter to the core. I thoroughly enjoyed the show and fell in love with the same immediately. Go Watch It if you get chance in your life!

Larger than life funny man Jason Goliath, brought his second one man show, MANSTRUATION: Surviving a Wife, 2 – 12 October 2019 at the Auto and General Theatre on The Square, Sandton City, Johannesburg. Jason is one of the very few comedians fondly known for getting away with making audiences laugh at life’s uncomfortable truths. Now having married the love of his life, audiences can prepare themselves for brutally honest and uncomfortable truths around relationships and a whole lot of laughter!

MANSTRUATION is a perfect night out. Whether you are in a short-term or long-term relationship, engaged, married, divorced or single, the show is a must see!

Jason promises that his show it is not a story about the battle of the sexes. The very construct of the show is unbiased as it makes light of either side in the Jason Goliath way; hilarious and thought provoking. His authenticity and energetic personality will soon win you over and more than likely, leave you gaping at a thought, then immediately breaking into raucous laughter.

The content of the show talks to various types of relationships, but also the various stages of relationships, the relationships one should stay in and relationships one should get out of.

What should audiences expect? This is first a comedy show, so audiences need to be prepared for tons of laughter, wheezing and happy tears from start to finish – that is the best part! But when audiences leave the show, they will be enlightened, which Jason says is not always a positive thing. “After leaving my show, I want people to better understand their situation and start thinking about what they want, where they are going. I want people in amazing relationships to “get out of their own way”, more often we take things too seriously, we have become too sensitive, we overanalyze and have become so selfish. My show offers a deeper understanding and a solution in the way I know best – funny”.

Cheers!!!

The Goliath Comedy Club Expands Nationally @TheGoliathCC #TheVenue #MelroseArch

Hi Guys,

For the past five years, Goliath & Goliath have been the pioneers of all things comedy. Now the team of four plan on getting bigger and better by expanding their footprint nationally with the Goliath Comedy Club in a brand new format.

Comprising of Managing Director Kate, and comedy trio, Jason, Nicholas and Donovan Goliath, the Goliath & Goliath brand has become one of the most recognised brands in Comedy. “The mission was to be a company and brand recognised for putting comedy first. This new structure celebrates standup comedy and makes it more accessible to the industry’s growing audience,” said Jason Goliath.

“We celebrated the Goliath Comedy Club’s one year birthday a few weeks ago. The club has passed all expectations and we are about 12 months ahead of our anticipated growth,” said Jason Goliath.

He said that with their birthday celebrations behind them, the brand was looking to the future. “Our primary focus has always been comedy. We want to continue to assist comedians and make comedy more accessible to the people. With our current setup, we have found that we spend more time running a restaurant and less time focusing on stand-up comedy.” Goliath said that it was for this reason that the four partners made the decision to refocus and grow.

The current space comprises of the Goliath Comedy Club/Roast Cafe in collaboration with Tony Raciti, owner of The Venue. The new format will see the comedy club moving into a new space and will follow two phases.

Phase one, 19 May 2017, will see the Goliath Comedy Club move to The Venue in Melrose Arch where the comedic brand will be able to focus on hardcore comedy.

The new and improved Goliath Comedy Club, hosted at The Venue in Melrose Arch will be bigger and better, having the capacity to cater for up to 400 people, instead of the current 160.

Phase two will see at least two more Goliath Comedy Clubs in Gauteng. With a view to be national within the next 24 months looking at Cape Town and Durban. “We will hopefully open the first four clubs within the next 24 months. It’s all about finding a talent pool in the surrounding areas and building an audience. We want to target high traffic, metropolitan areas.” Goliath said

Goliath & Goliath are two-time winners of the Best Friends of Comedy Award, handed down by the SA Comic Choice Awards and the company aims to further support local talent and comedy with this new venture.

“Comedians and comedy lovers can look forward to “purest” comedy platforms that are designed to give comedy the platform it deserves,” Goliath said.
