Food and beverage company PepsiCo South Africa has expanded its ‘hottest snacks’ portfolio, offering a variety of Mzansi’s favourite Hot & Spicy flavours with Simba Flamin’ Hot Chakalaka, Doritos Flamin’ Hot Masala and NikNaks Flamin’ Hot Chilli.

Speaking on the inspiration of the Range, Giulia Iorio-Ndlovu, Senior Marketing Director, Snacks of PepsiCo South Africa says, “The new Flamin’ Hot range encapsulates the existing deep love that consumers have for hot and spicy flavours, which awaken their taste buds and take them on an exciting flavour experience. Our flavours are rooted in cultural influences, pivoting legacy favourites amongst South Africans; Chakalaka, Masala and the classic Chilli, into enjoyable snacks.”

PepsiCo South Africa is innovating how snack brands can fit into consumers' cultures and lifestyles. The three flavours are suitable for unique and personal taste preferences.

To celebrate and engage consumers on the Flamin’ Hot Range, a campaign was rolled out driving a simple flavour message through the “Unleash Your Heat” tagline, across key and relevant consumer touch points. This includes first of its kind TV Advert (featuring Simba, Doritos and NikNaks brands), where we kicked off a HOT dialogue that extended into the social/ digital platforms. The campaign is further supported by radio activations, OOH Billboards and Digital screens in malls nationwide.

To celebrate the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4, Samsung has launched their Pop-Up experience, the Samsung Galaxy Studio, where consumers can experience an exciting programme with some of South Africa’s best-known DJs, artists and influencers.

The experiential activation kicked off on 09 September 2022 at the Mall of Africa in Johannesburg and will stay open to the public until September 18, 2022. The Galaxy Studio unleashes all levels of awesome with experience zones consisting of multi-angled camera features that allow consumers to flex their unique styles. There will also be a ‘curate your vibe’ section and a pop-up boutique offering all sorts of Samsung limited edition accessories and rewards, as well as the ecosystem wall for consumers to experience and enjoy devices first-hand.

To add to the excitement, Samsung has partnered with Primedia Broadcasting in the exciting launch of the Galaxy 947 Move music festival. The DJs and artist line-up for the event are being revealed at the consumer activations, with exclusive live performances, live lucky draws to win tickets to the festival and a dose of electrifying moments that will also be streamed live from the venue.
