New Year Resolutions - Week 43 Achievements & Failures #TheLifesWay

Hi Guys,

Week 43 - Sat 22 Oct 2022 - Fri 28 Oct 2022

1. Daily Walking - I saw the total amount of kilometres left to reach 1000 km so I bucked up myself post the Diwali festival and reached 25.42 kilometres this week. I was able to cross 780 km due to this effort during the course of this week. I definitely have strong willpower.

2. Money - I am still tied up to a single paycheque kind of income at the end of every month. This way you can survive on Planet earth but can't become rich. You will have to get into the money mindset and growth mindset. I am definitely going to become rich as I have the potential to be one and I have to take off this dependency on a single source of income in the coming days. This is the area I need to focus on in 2023 for sure. I have to take out all the ifs and buts from my mind and work towards action and execution of stuff to increase my income multifold.

3. Entertainment - I didn't watch any web series or movies during this time as you only watch them when you are getting bored. I intend to take binge-watching lightly in 2023 for two reasons - first I am not doing any reviews about them and secondly, I am not shooting any videos to review the same. Both of the things are not earning me anything so why waste time watching stuff that's not fetching me anything?

4. School Fees - I paid the whole annual school fees to take some discount on the same but then the school accounts department was not accepting the respective discount. The flow of emails flies and still the issue remains. I think the better option is to give monthly fees and invest the amount of the annual fees in some assets which can fetch you interest on the same as they only give you a 5% discount whereas you can easily earn 7% of interest in your banks.

5. Healthy Living - I was getting down to take rest by the afternoon and this led to lazy evenings with the body not being able to cope. I booked an appointment with the Doctor to get through all kinds of health checkups. With my age now of 42 years, I need to take regular health checks for sure. Money will come and go but health is something that can only go. You have to take conscious efforts to build a good healthy heart, body, mind and soul.

Totally loved the Diwali festival as it brings a lot of lights, fun and desserts to the life. Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali! Enjoy the festival of lights! Cheers!!!

Cheers!!!

New Year Resolutions - Week 42 Achievements & Failures #TheLifesWay

Hi Guys,

Week 42 - Sat 15 Oct 2022 - Fri 21 Oct 2022

Diwali festival is coming near and we are all gearing towards the same. We had a lovely trip in Hermanus and I definitely want to buy a home there for my holidays and can lend the same as Airbnb also. Let the universe listen to my demand for the same. I am a firm believer in the law of attraction since 2007 when I first came across The Secret video and since then my life has changed for the better. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

1. Daily Walking - This week I did the lowest ever possible walk in the whole of the year and it came out to be only 4.77 km. I am extremely lagging behind the weekly targets and I hope that I will catch it up by Dec-22. The strong will I have will definitely help me to make this goal a success.

2. Thank you - I only did 1600 counts and the same has been finally stopped but it's a habit that needs the counter else you will forget to do the same. There should be something to make you remember that this is the thing you have to do. I have to work on this in the new year now.

3. Launch Events - I attended the MSC Cruises launch event where they introduced the new ships to be coming to South Africa along with a nice dinner at The Wanderers. Totally loved the same. I also attended the 3 part series of YouTube Shorts virtual event where a lot of international and domestic creators came and explained their process of creating the videos and going viral in their respective niches. This whole year is dedicated to the YT Shorts for sure for The Life's Way.

4. YouTube - This is the 4th month since the Youtube channel got accepted into the YPP - YouTube Partner Program and since then I have not reached the USD 100 mark and this month I hope to reach there. Please continue to give your love and support in terms of views and likes.

5. Entertainment - During Diwali times the only entertainment is meeting people as you give out the sweets. This time around wife prepared special stuff at home including besan laddu, snacks and so much more and especially created a Diwali box for everyone to receive from us. Though I told her that we have never got anything great in return for what we give that's fine at least people who get it look forward to receiving the same.

Happy Diwali to all nears and dears and to all my readers too. The Life's Way is all because of you guys! Thanks!!!

Cheers!!!

New Year Resolutions - Week 41 Achievements & Failures #TheLifesWay

Hi Guys,

Week 41 - Sat 08 Oct 2022 - Fri 14 Oct 2022

The second week of the month of October 2022 was spent on the road as we only reached Johannesburg on 11-Oct-22 and then directly went to rest for some time as we started around 3am in the morning to reach by 1pm from Beaufort West. It was really a great trip but I could not shoot much of the content I intended to. I think I get overwhelmed with the devices, gadgets, angles and so much more mental pressure before I even begin to shoot that I miss a lot of easy stuff. I think I need to make a simple checklist to create my content and keep it as simple as possible.

1. Walking - I only could complete 10 kilometres during the course of this week as the walking was casual on the beach and around the city of Hermanus. After coming back I felt too tired to walk so that's how it caused the kilometres to not reach the 20 km mark. This has been a consistent failure at my end and it will put me in a difficult situation as I may not reach the 1000 mark that I need to reach by 31-Dec-22.

2. Thank You - As I told you last week that I am going to stop at the counter till I buy a new one from China Mall. This is a huge impact on my gratitude habit but let's see if I can do it without the manual counter to push the buttons.

3. Events - I attended the virtual YouTube Shorts Event as a part of 3 part series with International creators including Arun Maini from MrWhoseTheBoss and felt really great to be part of the YouTube Shorts community. I have achieved a lot in terms of YouTube just by being part of the YouTube Shorts community in South Africa. Many thanks to the team and the partner manager. You should also make YouTube shorts if you are making reels on Instagram or videos on Tik Tok to take it further and earn some money too.

4. Diwali Celebrations - The time has come for the Diwali celebrations as well after we celebrated the festival of Vijay Dashmi last week. I have always loved celebrating Diwali as you get to wear new clothes, distribute sweets and eat a lot of desserts. The best part is this time BAPS are doing their own fireworks in WITS University Sports ground and also Shree Radhey Shyam Temple is going to light the sky too. I am of the opinion that enjoyment comes from watching and not from firing them. I never missed any of the fireworks in London during the 14 months I lived there in 2010-11 by the government on several occasions.

5. Entertainment - I didn't watch any of the web series or movies this time around. My family watched Laal Singh Chaddha on Netflix in Hermanus but I didn't like it when I watched it again also. Some of the movies are totally not worth your time and a person has to create something new and not repeat their regular acting as seen in their previous movies. Dangal was the only movie that I have watched in repeat mode of Aamir Khan and must have seen it more than 100 times.

The second week of October went into the preparations for the Diwali sweets and shopping for the festival. This time I reduced my fireworks expense to a minimum and spent only ZAR 90 for Sparklers because the fireworks were arranged by the temple authorities and you only enjoy what you see in the sky much more than the ones you see bursting on the land. Have a great festive season! Cheers!!!

Cheers!!!

Indiblogger Pepsico #GharWaliDiwali - Diwali with Ghar Wali

Hi Guys,

Diwali is a festival of lights and is the main festival for Hindus in India and people living around the world. I always loved this festival and always look forward to the same since my childhood. From the last many years, due to the job at onsite, I have been missing the celebrations of this fun time. Last year, I had to travel to Johannesburg a night before Diwali. Last year, I had no friends and car here and spent my whole day of Diwali all alone. I didn't had a phone or internet also to call my friends and family. This year also I am here in Johannesburg and will be celebrating the festival all alone but unlike last time, I have access to all the internet and mobile as well as my own vehicles to see the temples etc.

Diwali with Ghar Wali is the story about the first Diwali we celebrated after I got married way back in 2008. My brother visited us from America and bought us a 32" LED TV on the occasion along with a PS2. We spent a lot of time watching movies and playing games on the TV before the day to travel to our native place in Sirsa from Gurgaon. My brother also bought a Leg massager for mom & dad to take care of their tired feet. Diwali is always an occasion to buy some new stuff and great clothes. The shops are flooded with new things and people do save to buy the Diwali celebration Deals.

PepsiCo is also celebrating Diwali with https://www.gharwalidiwali.com/ and checkout their movie at -

That Diwali we reached our home town around afternoon with some great food prepared by mom. We also enjoyed some great time till it's time for evening tea and to discuss what to do for Diwali this year around. Dad always has some plans to take all of us to our religious Gurus every time we are together for their blessings and good luck.
It was time to meet some relatives and plan to buy firecrackers from some store in a remote area outside town. We spent a lot of money grabbing the best firecrackers in store. My wife and mother were busy decorating the house with flowers and other stuff. I was sent early in the morning to fetch 3 kgs of flowers along with roses for the decoration. The lights were also decorated on the roof walls by the electrician and I took care of the other lights for inside the house.

We bought some good gifts to give them to relatives and visited each of them. Every time you visit any relative during Diwali festival, you get to eat a lot of stuff. We were fully stuffed with food, dry fruits, home made desserts, chat and tea/coffee. Finally the day arrived and relatives started visiting our house and we enjoyed serving them as they served us with love and care.

It was the time to light the Diya's and take some blessings from Lord Almightly. It was the time to be grateful for everything we had and all the things we will have in our future. It was the time to celebrate the togetherness of family.

My brother and me were waiting for all the prayers and everything to end so that we could start on firecrackers. We called all our relatives to a common place to lit the firecrackers. We had some great time of fun and laughter together. It did caused a lot of sound & air pollution and I thought that I will discontinue the use of firecrackers or at least will minimize the same from next year.

Looking forward to have an awesome festival time this year around too and wishing everyone the same. I wish all of you gets health, wealth and prosperity on this festival of lights. May light of hope enters every human being and World achieves Peace.

Cheers!!!

Amazon.in - Light up a child's Diwali

Hi Guys,

Amazon.in has launched a great program to light up a Diwali for underprivileged children. Anyone using the website can donate books for this great cause. A book can definitely light the world using it's knowledge and the fun it gives to readers. Children are often attached to books and wants them too to own.We have been brought up greatly by our parents but those kids who doesn't even know who their parents are, it will be a great dream to even own a single book.

I have done small contribution by gifting 6 books to Pratham www.pratham.org/‎ NGO via amazon.in I hope that they make full use of the same. I will contribute more towards the same till wishlist is complete or rather ask everyone to that is why this blog post. Kindly take this opportunity to make a dream of having a book for a kid become true just as you cherish your dreams to get fulfilled this festive season.

Other NGO is Naandi www.naandi.org/‎ and they too have a huge wishlist of books to be gifted for these kids.

Please contribute via this page  - Light up a child's Diwali as per your wish and whatever book you feel right. The quantities required is already mentioned when you see the wishlist and many a people have came forward to celebrate this Diwali with these children.

Reducing your firecrackers budget and gifting a book is a great theme that you can follow this Diwali.

Cheers!!!
