@HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview

Hi Friends,

Huawei sponsored me this Huawei Watch GT Active (46 mm) last year in May 2019 when I planned to practice and walk the 25km in the MTN Walk The Talk 702 Race in the month of July 2019. I felt great and very happy to be getting this brand new Huawei Watch GT at that time and started using the same immediately. I was able to finish 29kms on the day of the race from the car park to and fro and then attended a birthday party and going to the office the very next day without any trouble. All thanks to the guiding force in the form of Huawei Watch GT. The watch has been with me since that time and only once in its whole life since that day failed me during the Jacaranda Spring Walk for 15km in Pretoria where it crashed at the 14th kilometer and my whole journey was not synced at all to the smartphone.

The first few days using the Huawei Watch GT
As you all know that I was using the Samsung Galaxy S2 Classic before that which I bought from Incredible Connection cyber sale and slowly the parts starting to come off and I did some jugaad to continue wearing it. Thanks to Huawei for providing me with a new watch that people not only loved but also wanted to take from me. I totally love wearing the 46mm version which looks really cool and fills your wrist and people do notice the same too. Let's check out the various features of the Huawei Watch GT Active.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
The first thing I admired the same is the actual watch after opening up the package which has the watch with the silicon strap in orange color and a Type C charging cable and charging cradle with 2 points and magnet to fit the correct side of the watch when placed on the same. It was the first time, Huawei provided me a brand new sealed or mint condition product and I felt great after all these years of posts and reviews for their products.

The second factor was the amazing battery life of Huawei Watch GT which would totally last me for more than 14 days when I am not measuring the walks or putting the GPS ON but as I used the same to walk every day with GPS ON then the battery life come down to around 7 days and still is giving me more than 5 days of performance when I walk more than 5-6 km daily. It can be 100% charged in around 90 minutes or so. Sometimes the GPS on the watch is not able to detect the actual locations during the walks and add up those straight-line marks when you check your walk or run on the smartphone Huawei Health app. It gives you extra miles without adding any extra time to your walk making your goal appear overachieved.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
The third factor is the strap and watches dial which really looks cool in the Orange colors. The body of the watch is just 46 grams without the straps which are made from metal, plastic, and ceramic. My watch is in Titanium Grey Stainless Stell version whereas there are Black Stainless steel and normal stainless steel versions also available. The screen size is 1.39 inches with AMOLED display. The strap is made of some Fluoroelastomer material which doesn't give my skin any kind of irritation to date. Though I have to clean the back daily using a soft cloth as some kind of white material sediments around the circular sensors spot. I also regularly wash the band using the soap to make it clean as dust gets deposited in the slots of the straps. The strap is of topmost quality I have ever seen in all the bands and watches I have used since Jawbone UP, Fitbit, Samsung S2 Classic, Xiaomi Band, Huawei Band, etc in the last 7 years. Only recently the band of the straps broke after a year of usage in the month of April 2020 when I did 180kms of walk in a single month - my best performance ever in my life.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
The fourth factor was that this watch is water-resistant up to 5 ATM which I never tested as I don't swim and never took it to shower. I don't want to risk the only thing I have new and once it goes to any of the repair centers it costs a lot of money to repair. I totally loved that the watch is equipped to measure your Oxygen intake and burn capacity measured using VO2Max and also measures your Aerobic Training effect after every exercise and tell you also how much time your body needs rest before your next workout.

There are several other small features that I totally love like covering the display with your palm and it gets turned off which comes handy in the night along with when you swing your hand towards your face the display lights ON to show you the necessary details. The barometer and the altitude meter features are an added advantage that I tested when I was at the highest point of South Africa at around 2150 meters above sea level on the road near Lydenburg Mountains towards Sabie in Mpumalanga, South Africa.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
The factors which I didn't like in the Huawei Watch GT was that it doesn't have any music player built into the same which the Samsung Gear S2 classic had along with a 4GB of memory whereas Huawei Watch GT has around 700 MB of space to install Watch faces which also was limited when I got the smartwatch but then it only allows you to install 15-20 watch faces. Now the Huawei App market has expanded and there are several new watch faces coming on a daily basis.

The second factor was the inability to interpret that you have already started jogging or running etc as you have to specifically press certain buttons on Huawei Watch GT whereas it was automatic in Gear S2 Classic. Gear S2 seamlessly measures without even thinking about switching to any mode and it will measure your performance using AI but Huawei Watch GT has to be put on a certain mode using the buttons on the side of the watch and then it saves your walks in the walk category and runs in the run category as per your command. But still, Huawei Watch GT is not able to measure the floors climbed no matter how many stairs you are climbing but it will tell you the elevation gain in meters. The stress test is shown in the app but there is no functionality in the Watch GT to perform the same.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
The last factor is the Huawei Health App which is not advanced where you can add your friends and challenge them. It will give nice stats to show on your stories and posts but you can't earn points etc. Though you can get medals by finishing certain milestones it just looks like coins and nothing fancy about the same. Samsung Health is way advance in this matter where you get monthly targets to achieve and levels to cross. You can add all your friends using the Samsung ecosystem and challenge them and beat them to earn extra points and cross new levels.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @HuaweiZA Watch GT Active #HuaweiWatchGT #ProductReview
Overall, I am very happy with the Huawei Watch GT which is not as smart as it looks but then there are always new versions coming from the Huawei range of products. I did not receive the Huawei Watch GT 2 at the launch event which has a lot of disadvantages I mentioned taken care of with music player built into it and various other things which I can only check if I use the same. Huawei gives out these watches when you buy any of their smartphones so be prepared to receive the new versions of the watch when you are due for an upgrade and opt for the Huawei Watch GT smartwatch. RATING 3/5

Chintu Ka Birthday @ZEE5Premium #Movie #Drama #ChintuKaBirthday

Hi Friends,

Chintu Ka Birthday is a Hindi situational drama movie on Zee5 set in Baghdad, Iraq in 2004 and is a story of a family stuck there despite being Indian citizens but came to Iraq on Nepal's passports so India didn't repatriate them during those times. The family features Vinay Pathak as Madan Tiwari (father), Tillotama Shome as Sudha Tiwari (mother), Seema Pahwa as Nani of Chintu, Vedant Chibber as Chintu who looks so cute, Bisha Chaturvedi as Lakshmi - sister of Chintu. They live in the house rented from Khalid Massou as Mahdi. All hell broke loose when the American forces enter their house and interrupts the preparations for the Chintu's birthday. The movie is written and directed by Satyanshu Singh and Devanshu Kumar. It premiered on the Zee5 platform on 5th June 2020.

Madan plays an optimistic, loving, and understanding father who believes in Do Good, Be Good to all, and showcases the same really well till the end. Despite being beaten badly by the soldiers he still keeps his calm and optimism so that Chintu has no effect and as it's his big day he wants all happiness for him. Sudha is a great partner who not only helps him in all his endeavors and the chemistry between the couple is pure love. This is one of the movies which really has soul and tears will fall from your eyes now and then. Lakshmi as the elder sister totally loves Chintu and even fights with her grandmother (Nani) to don't spoil the occasion of Chintu's 6th birthday. Chintu has been waiting for his birthday cake since his last birthday as the cake shops and other establishments were either bombed or were not operating during the crisis time in Baghdad. Nani's character is the one who blames Madan for all their problems and well played by Seema Ji.
#TheLifesWayReviews - Chintu Ka Birthday @ZEE5Premium #Movie #Drama #ChintuKaBirthday
It's a story which will remind you of the movie Life is Beautiful but in an Indian way where kid's birthday is of great importance to the family. Madan and Sudha do all efforts to make the cake at home and when they get barged in by the soldiers and reprimanded, the cake gets burnt making Lakshmi cry and at that moment, I am sure you will cry too. Chintu ka Birthday is only 83 minutes long and showcases the love and care this family has for each other. Despite getting to know they are not the culprits they don't reveal the name of the person behind the material found in their home. That is the biggest sacrifice any person can do to the locals who have also adopted them in their lives as showcased by the Mahdi Bhai who comes all the way from a far location for Chintu's birthday.

The American soldiers (played by Reginald L Barnes and Nathan Scholz) who are sent to Iraq in search of Weapons of Mass Destruction find themselves on the edge of their emotions as they get attacked continuously by the locals and their friends are losing lives in this war. This makes them trust no one and Madan becomes the latest victim of their anger as they found Mahdi hiding in the storeroom and later runs away and one of the soldiers gets shot in the neck and gets injured. This is one movie you can definitely watch with your family and it will make you love your children more than anything. All the actors have acted in the movie really well and you will be amazed to see that in a single house the whole movie is shot and a story that really touches your heart. It's a movie that will make you value your life more than ever and taking care of your family and friend's top priority if not by service due to location gaps than at least by your kind words.  Go Watch It on Zee 5 Online Platform. RATING 4/5

CHOKED Paisa Bolta Hai @NetflixSA #Movie #Drama #Choked

Hi Friends,

Chocked - Paisa Bolta Hai is the latest Hindi movie to be launched on Netflix Platform based on the Demonetization in a drama format set in Mumbai and is directed and produced by Anurag Kashyap. The story is written by Nihit Bhave and music is composed by Karsh Kale. The lead actors are Saiyami Kher and Roshan Matthew along with Netflix's favorite artist whom you will remember from Sacred Games Season 1 and 2 like Amruta Subhash and Rajshri Deshpande.

The movie is set in a building where a couple lives on the third floor along with various other neighbors and the various relationship equations have been played out. There is a marriage happening in one of the neighbor's houses and amidst all that demonetization is introduced. Saiyami plays Sarita who works at a bank as a cashier and a singer from the reality show who got chocked while performing in the finals which led to her eliminations and that shock is still getting her chocked from time to time by the name of singing. I could not even recognize her in this unglamorous role as a mother and married woman. She has really played her role perfectly well.

Roshan plays Sushant husband of Sarita who used to play guitar in the reality show and thereafter is doing much unsuccessful business to help the financial conditions of the family creating friction between him and his wife while their son becomes a judge. He is in business with Dinesh who also lives on the same building and they continuously fight over several matters related to money and clients. Really loved Roshan in his role.
#TheLifesWayReviews - CHOKED Paisa Bolta Hai @NetflixSA #Movie #Drama #Choked
Amruta plays Sharvari Tai, a single parent whose daughter is getting married and Sushant is helping her with many of the tasks and activities of the marriage. Tai's role is of a neighbor who also helps and gives an ear to Sarita and demands helps after the demonetization to getting her old currency replaced at all costs. Amruta plays her role amazingly great and she is one force to reckon with in this web series industry in the coming future. Rajshri comes on the screen for not more than 5 minutes in the whole storyline in the background with part of the ensemble.

Due to some leakage problems of the sink, the plumber does a make-shift kind of arrangement and the currency notes stored in the pipelines by the PA to the MLA in the top floor flat come to Sarita's flat kitchen sink pipes causing chocking of the water. Her happiness knows no bounds and sooner she gets more than enough which she keeps hiding from her husband. Soon it is revealed that Dinesh is also getting those notes as he returns the money owned to Sushant whereas Sarita pays Reddy the money owned by Sushant.

It's a situational drama based around where the bankers are not clear, people are not clear, and money makers in between are trying to hack the system by setting up connections with bank managers and politicians. There is small suspense at the end of the drama which I don't want to reveal and you shall watch it to enjoy the same. It goes after an adage in Hindi, Hamam mein sab nange hai! It's a 114 minutes long movie based on the after-effects of demonetization released on 5th June 2020 on Netflix and reminded me of Ek Chalis ki Last Local movie starring Abhay Deol and Neha Dhupia. RATING 2.5/5

Shall I Delete All The Old & Irrelevant Blog Posts? #TheLifesWay #PhotoYatra

Hi Friends,

I was thinking of cleaning my blog for the last few months as the old content is irrelevant and most of the brands have lost interest in my blog and I also lost interest in those brands and promoting their products and services. After much deliberation and advice from The Cape Town Guy and TechnoBok, I decided to delete most of the content and reuse some of them. This is otherwise going to be my 2082nd post and subsequently, in the days to come, it will fall within the range of around 1000 or something.

The most important thing is if the brand is not valuing you and they are not giving you anything for your efforts in promoting their products or services, then it's better to let go of all the content which has now ended in interest and web searches. The content is generally of two types - Trending topics and Evergreen topics. Trending topics means the latest news, new products, new events, etc happening around you. Evergreen topics are like which will remain of value but might need some updates in terms of introducing new updates to the old posts and reinventing them and sharing it with the community again.

The whole list of blog posts are mentioned in detail before the process of deletion starts -

Shall I Delete All The Old & Irrelevant Blog Posts? #TheLifesWay
This is kept for the purpose of keeping memory and the efforts that have gone into promoting the content on various social media platforms. The best part of the performance came when I used to share all the old blog posts on twitter on a daily basis but it also led to the people and brands muting or blocking me. If I reduce some 600 posts my press release to self-written posts will come to 50% and it will definitely make me happy. Meanwhile, I will continue to promote more and more self-written content on the platform and will schedule the series of posts for some time to come if possible.

What are your opinions about the old posts and press releases? Shall we delete them all or modify them to see if they can be reused?
