New Year Resolutions - Week 19 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

Hi Guys,

Week 19 has been hectic and loss of health as well leading to some days being on the bed continuously and then getting back to normal is hectic.

1. Launch Events - I attended a YouTube Shorts event virtually and then one Mini Event for the EV research they did with some local companies and students. The same day, I had to go to the Cliff Central event at Acore Lane which was almost finished when I reached as the Mini event didn't finish on time. At the end of the day, we had my employer's town hall event which was really very far almost a 50-60 min drive and it was so cold that day, that it immediately had an impact on me and my health started deteriorating. Again there was another YouTube Creator Event virtually that I also attended so much so that I was not able to attend anything else after the same as my health was not good at all. I think I should not go to events which are not relevant and are not helping me promote myself or my brand or are not bringing me anything in return.
New Year Resolutions - Week 19 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay
2. Shopping @ China Mall - I bought the iPad cover for my daughter as well as a cover for my Samsung A8 tablet. Now it's way earlier to work or read from the tablets as I have reduced the risk of breaking the screen. Also, I got to know about the Mellows Stationery Store in China Mall, F-9 block which has a lot of amazing products which I totally adore. The only thing is that you have to pay cash but the FNB ATM is right opposite the F-block for withdrawal of money. A lot of products were on sale and there were so many things I wanted to buy but thought of buying them later once they set up the shop fully. The shop has products from crayons, markers, sharpeners erasers, ball pens, fountain pens, gel pens notepads, cutters, diaries to office products, and school bags to a lot of categories for each age and group.
3. Marketplace @ Facebook - Earlier I have never visited the same but don't know how I got glued to the same while searching for fountain pens and then the search widened to include some products that I saw growing up and wanted to get hold of them. I bought some stuff from Facebook that I will have videos on my channel soon from technology products to writing instruments to calligraphy journals. I have spent a lot of money on buying people's used products which in my case is something not that good. Unless and until you really can't afford a new one or the product in question has some emotional value assigned to it, I would say don't ever go this route.
4. Thank You - The week started from 22000 onwards to reach 69000 in total and this has been the best growth so far in the year. I again recommend you this daily habit for sure. Yoga is another one that you can do on a daily basis as well. I am doing my daily Yoga as well. I am seeing the benefits it has on my health as my lung capacity to inhale oxygen has increased so much more and now even if I run, I can come back to a normal heartbeat faster.
5. YouTube Shorts - This month I decided that I will do 5 shorts every day and despite no response on some of the videos, I am keeping up with the trend and finally seeing some results as well. Suddenly, I am getting more subscribers and more views because one of the five videos posted gets some traction and brings in around 2-3k video views. This helps increase the YouTube Shorts revenue as well which is not much but slowly touching USD 1 and I am sure for this month it will cross 1$ for sure.
Health has taken a hit this week and it has reduced the long-form video premieres on my channel but will soon pick up its pace and this year I am sure we will cross 1000 long-form videos in the coming days.

Aum Namah Shivay!
Till next time...Aashish
Thanks! Cheers!!!

New Year Resolutions - Week 12 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

Hi Guys,

I felt great and rejuvenated as I say this after completing the trip to Clarens and Golden Gate National Park. I felt good that I did white river rafting as well as Quad biking for the first time in Clarens.

1. Thank You - I started again from zero to reach 11500 in total this week. I have also closed my bank account to save on the monthly fees but it will subsequently lead to a long battle with my employer in the coming days and months.
New Year Resolutions - Week 12 Achievements & Failures #TheLifesWay #2023
2. Holidays - I totally loved the trip from Sat 18-Mar to 21-Mar in Clarens and totally loved the relaxed weather and the surroundings. The Golden Gate National Park now has been developed to have some points that are maintained and points where people can take some photographs.
3. Entertainment - I watched Pathaan again on TV as it came on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. I totally loved it watching with my daughter who has not seen it. I was also invited the premier event of Dungeons and Dragons - Honor Among Thieves movie at Mall of Africa. It was such a lovely experience to throw an axe which I wanted to do the first time I saw it on Netflix series on marriage proposals by an Indian Aunty. The movie is really a nice watch and I totally loved watching it. I also then went on to watch an OTT release of Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga starring Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal.
4. Daily Yoga - The best benefit of doing Yoga daily for the last month in Feb-23 was when during the white river rafting out raft went turtle and I went underwater for some seconds. During the course of the same, my mind could follow the instructions told earlier by the raft master and was not afraid at all as well. I came back on the top in the next 30 seconds without drinking any river water or being afraid despite being a non-swimmer and another raft took me in. Definitely, all the calmness that was inside me when I was drowning is due to the after-effects of pranayam and daily yoga practice. I was so happy that I got enrolled for 3 months in one go starting Apr-Jun 2023.
5. First Time - It's really good to do stuff that you have never done before. I always thought that Quad-bike will be saying as it's just a small 4-wheel car but the experience to handle it totally different. It's balanced but it's more like a motorbike. You need to balance it using the handle which can make it turtle as well. Also, your feet keep going to the ground and can hit or can get injured so you need to take care. The right kind of acceleration is needed that you will learn sooner than later as you start trusting the bike on the demo run. I totally love this exhilarating experience.

What I learned from this week is that you should always keep an open mind and attitude to explore, meet new people and venture into the unknown. Never let anyone define your boundaries, you expand them and keep expanding them to the places where you walk on Planet Earth. Always showcase your unique self to the world and I used to do so wherever I travelled but now for many years, I am not doing so. Starting today I will express my unique self to the world and accommodate each and everyone into my life. Thanks!!!

Aum Namah Shivay!

Till next time...Aashish
Thanks! Cheers!!!

New Year Resolutions - Week 11 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

Hi Guys,

The week still reminded me of the heartbreak when I wanted to win the GK contest but missed it due to my mistakes only. The nostalgia continued and it was so difficult to move on.

1. Entertainment - The week started with the continuation of Prison Break Season 5 and finally finished the whole series again after a gap of around 12-13 years. I still felt that it is one of the well-made series and you are glued to your seats despite watching it and knowing the story as well. I moved to the National Treasure Season 1 on Disney Plus which is really a nice spin-off from the famous Nicolas Cage movies. I also watched the Gulmohar movie starring Sharmila Tagore, Simran and Manoj Vajpayee. It's really a nice heart-touching movie with the family getting separated and the link being the old house made by grandparents. Finally, I started watching the second season of The Rocket Boys and this one is the best we can see this year for sure. I am surely in love with the acting of Jim Sarbh, Ishwak Singh and Regina Cassandra. If you have not seen this web series on Sony Liv you should definitely go and watch it. Regina was looking so beautiful in season 1 and has this background music being played to make it easy to fall in love with her. Jim Sarbh is indeed a great actor and the way he played the role of Dr. Homi Bhabha is exceptional to the level that can fetch him Oscars.

New Year Resolutions - Week 11 Achievements & Failures #TheLifesWay #2023

2. Thank You - I did some 18000 Thank You for this week. It's really nice when I do this and take the counts towards the monthly goal of 100k. This habit shall be adopted by everyone even if you don't feel grateful you will soon have it in your consciousness.
3. Youtube - I received one of the YouTube Shorts gifts from the YouTube team. I totally loved the same and it is always awesome to be getting something or the other from the team. I feel special and I am special too, it's just that I need to have some belief in myself.
4. Holidays - This week went into planning the upcoming holidays next week or rather starting this coming Saturday to Clarens and Golden Gate National Park. I will be going with some families with whom I have never travelled earlier.
5. Yoga - This month I didn't enrol for the daily classes thinking that I will be able to do it myself using strong willpower and discipline but both are missing in me now. I did it randomly but not as a whole 1-hour class that I generally take every weekday.
I am sure there is potential in all of us so every day of our lives should be to realize it to do something that challenges our mental capacity and courage. Courage is something that you should not let rust ever. Take risks and move forward to new opportunities and do say what you have to say to the world. You are unique and your voice needs to be heard.

Aum Namah Shivay!

Till next time...Aashish
Thanks! Cheers!!!

Product Review - COCOON Boutique Spa @ Radisson Blu Hotel, Johannesburg

Hi Guys,

It is always a great opportunity when you visit something for the first time. It happened with me when I first visited the Cocoon Spa which is opposite Mushroom Park, Sandton in Radisson Blu Hotel's Ground Floor area. It was my first time that I ever visited any Spa in my life. I immediately fell in love with the calm & reflective environment of Cocoon Spa.
The use of colorful dots have brought a different texture to the entrance every dot representing the O's and C's in Cocoon.
There is a display of all the organic & silk products for customers to browse and buy. The rate list is also displayed for customers to refer.
The waiting lounge has everything you want. It gives you the same calm & relaxed experience while you wait for your treatment or after the treatments. Art & paintings builds up a great environment for customers.
The front walls again showcases some of the amazing art and organic stuff to browse and buy. The Cocoon Spa has their own scrub and lotion products as well for customers to enjoy. The products are prices right for everyone to buy and use.
Another room for foot and hand massage which also gets converted into private and personal yoga sessions as and when required. Everything in decor matches the Cocoon Spa's aura. You will definitely fall in love with the same.
I went through the Cocoon - Full body Massage for 45 min and this was the first time I ever had this kind of treatment in a Spa in Johannesburg. I really felt relaxed as trained staff went through calming all my nerves and muscles in my back, neck, legs, hands and shoulders. Head massage really took away all my stress. The aromatic & herbal oils brought a lot of warmth to my body. I felt so light like flying in the air after my 45 minutes of treatment. Really I was missing something in my life as now I plan to get the same every month.

Apollo - Modern Healthcare touching lives

Hi Guys!

Health and taking care of the same has been an important part of our life. We can only fully enjoy our lives if we are fully physically fit, not suffering from any kind of viral, infection or respiratory diseases. Health care has become a big business with hotel like hospitals have opened all across India. They do charge you high but then Corporate guys doesn't seems to bother as they have heavy insurance stuff packed in their compensation packages. It's just like calling the hospital for appointment and you reach just 10 min before the stipulated time and you will be free in maximum 30 min. All bills will be cashless charged directly to the Insurance companies.

Indian Healthcare has seen a lot of change and is one of the most advanced in the world. I have seen the NHS in London, where even if you are suffering from Viral, the appointment you get will be of next week as government Doctors are very less, but same can be said about our Indian Government run medical centers. Here though Doctors and antibiotics are just a shop away.

Good infrastructure has been set up by big Corporates of Healthcare Industry in big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata etc. Now you know and have various options to venture if you are not satisfied with one Doctor. The big Corporates too have large LED displays showing Doctors name with photograph on their buildings, which I have seen here in Gurgaon just last week. They higher great Doctors in their panel and many of these hospitals works only on the goodwill of these panel members.

Healthcare in India has several aspects based on the type of medicines provided e.g. Allopathy, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic and others working in unison across all sects of Indian population. But whichever suits you, you will find a whole new experience developed for you by the big Corporates. Now you don't need to think that Homeopathy will not cure you if you are getting medicines from a road side small shop as you can go and enjoy AC environment of Dr. Bakson's and pay the heavy price too. Ayurvedic has been popular as the interest of Yoga arose in people motivated by Baba Ramdev and his Kapal Bhati, Alom Vilom and other pranayams and yoga exercises. He is the one who really taught people easy kriyas so that they could follow some of them at their leisure daily in the morning and evening.

It's changing India and everyone is conscious about his/her health. People have adopted great shoes to run and iphone/android phones are helping them see how much they have run today! This is one of the best methods to keep yourself fit without going to any gym.

Healthcare via hospitals is the last choice and we won't regret the services rendered to us at the end of the discharge date! Bills will be long but considering having health insurance you will be happy!

Cheers!
