Stationery Review 246 - 3 Reasons Why Leather Pen Cases are a Game Changer for Everyday Carry

Hi Friends,

I bought this Everyday Carry leather pen case, which also includes a notepad and space for an iPad or MacBook, neither of which I currently own. The leather is really nice to touch and feel. 28 pens can easily fit the elastic loops, and the elastic is free flowing, meaning if one pen is small and the other big, then the loops can be increased or decreased manually to fit the pens. I really love leather products, and over the years, I have got many of them in my stationery collection. This is one of the best ones I have had in a while. I have seen a similar kind of leather journal that's available at Sandton Stationery & Print Shop inside Sandton City mall. The journal we are talking about is specifically made for the shop by their own vendor, who creates these kinds of leather journals.

Stationery Review 182 - The Great Break - A5 Leather Journal Cover - Adventure Range

Hi Friends, 

I bought this one after waiting and drooling over all the products from The Great Break. I think the A5 size and this leather design convinced me to do so, and I wanted to compare it against the TRC (Midori) Journal covers as well. The quality is really good on this one as well, with leather a little bit thicker and metal loops for the string, whereas in TRC, the holes are directly in the leather cover. I totally love the personalization on this one, though the string is thicker on the same. It comes with a leather bookmark and an extra string to get more notebooks inside the leather cover. I missed the new notebooks to go with the same that comes along with the Midori (TRC) range. The Great Break team is really helpful and updates you during the whole journey after ordering, till it's couriered to your address.

The same is around ZAR 895, and there a courier fees as well. If you don't use the first-time code, then you will pay around ZAR 960, as ZAR 65 is the courier charges. Personalization only costs ZAR 35, so the overall cost will be ZAR 995 for each cover, but it will include a ZAR 75 bookmark also included in the same. 

The leather cover has three tan options - Chocolate, Toffee, and Coffee. Personalization also gives you some font options (DM Serif Text, Asul and Baskerville). You can also do Journal Title and Name Engraving with 25 characters at a maximum. The same is getting reflected on the cover I ordered for myself. Samsung South Africa launched their Samsung Week from 25-Oct-21 till 11-Nov-21 and the best part is that the courier charges are free of cost to the consumers. 

You only have to pay for the device or gadget or accessories you are buying. The payment can be made via credit card or debit card. The email confirmation is sent to your Samsung account and then you can track your order. An SMS is also sent on the day of delivery and a confirmed delivery report is sent along with the invoice for any warranty purposes later.  

I also got part of the pre-launch Twitter campaign where they gave away R200 vouchers to 1000 of the Twitter users who retweeted their giveaway tweet. I got all the items I ordered really fast and the packaging was huge as compared to the items I ordered giving them enough space to travel safely. 

Everything I ordered was received within a span of 3-4 days from ordering to delivery. It was really a seamless experience from Samsung online store. I am really happy about the same. There are certain accessories and products I was not aware of being available in the Samsung store like this USB-C headset jack adapter which is a high-quality audio product to bring my old headphones to work with the new Samsung Galaxy Smartphones. My music experience is now enhanced using this small accessory as compared to the cheaper versions available in the market. 

These items are which I bought during this Samsung Week are some of the accessories for the smartphones whereas some of the things I wanted to buy went out of stock so soon like the micro-SD card of 256GB capacity for around R249 only. As the portable charger is also not coming with the smartphones these days I wanted to buy one of the same as well as a wireless charger to charge my smartphone.
