A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Jul 2014

Hi Guys,

July is always special for me as it's my birthday month and last year I received my Samsung NX300 Mirrorless camera by virtue of winning #MissionSamsung Bloggers Community Challenge which gave me wild card entry into the finals of the same.

This was my first attempt to make a poem parody and I was happy to write the same too.

3. South African Bloggers - Meet #MissionSamsung Community Challenge Winner - http://www.thelifesway.com/2014/07/south-african-bloggers-meet.html This was the interview that got published on WeBlogForLove - Sandile Nene's esteemed blog and I really loved answering the questions. I am still looking for sponsors to my blog and can give then numerous tweets/mentions and posts for their gadgets or sponsorships.

4. Fly in the Rain - http://www.thelifesway.com/2014/07/fly-in-rain.html Another attempt at the poem after which I don't think I have ever tried it again till now. 

5. Movie Review - The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman (2014) - http://www.thelifesway.com/2014/07/movie-review-necessary-death-of-charlie.html Thought the film didn't do well on the box-office but I liked the movie a lot. It was an adventure journey in some part of Europe and I really enjoyed watching the movie. 

Life is full of surprises and your thinking  keeps on changing from time to time but the values which you adore/admire hardly changes. As I complete my 35 years of existence on this planet Earth, I have enjoyed myself and tried to enjoy every momemt as it came. I am hopeful and celebrate life as I start the next part of my journey with full vigor and enthusiasm. I love my friends, family and parents thought this first part, I have never told them so but in the next half I will do so a lot.

@FrysFamily Vegetarian Event @ Capsicum Culinary Studio, Johannesburg

Hi Guys,

Recently, I was invited to experience something I always wanted to learn. It was an introduction session to cooking Fry's Family products by Chef Candice-Lee Clark. The evening included an interactive cooking session instructed by the Chef along with enjoying the scrumptious vegetarian meals, we prepared using Fry's range of products.

Here is the amazing Veg Chicken-Style Burgers served to all the invitees. They tasted amazingly good with a slice of pineapple over a bun and Fry's Meat Free Burgers.

The venue for this event was Capsicum Culinary Studio in Johannesburg which is also in 5 other locations namely Durban, Cape Town, Pretoria and others.Follow them on twitter, facebook & instagram.

The Chef Candice-Lee taking all of us through some of the best cooking sessions and lessons for life. We were all given the same amount of ingredients and instructions to cook and present our dishes.

Here is my first dish made using Fry's Cruspy Prawns cooked in Coconut curry, Chick peas along with some rice and wrap.

The second round was to make salad using all the veggies available along with Fry's Chicken Style Strips. I used avocado to make the DOME and won a party for me and my 9 friends fully sponsored by the Fry's at my own house. They also gifted us with amazing range of Fry's products to make them at home along with a Fry's recipe book.

Hello Joburg Magazine Launch @HRCJohannesburg - 17 Sep 2014

Hi Guys,

It was one of the most amazing and coolest party of the town as Hello Joburg magazine relaunched themselves with the new Spring issue. The location to celebrate the launch is one of the most happening place in Nelson Mandela Square & Sandton City - HARD ROCK CAFE! It was my first visit to the Hard Rock Cafe and I was immediately impressed by the energy and enthusiasm the place has in it along with the live music.

It was not only the launch of the Hello Joburg magazine but also Hard Rock Cafe introduced their new menu of some mouth watering food and delicacies. More photographs of the #newmenu food are on my Instagram page (@araijain).

We were served with a lot of new dishes by the amazing staff at HRCJohannesburg. There were a lot of sponsors and a lot of prizes for the guests by actively participating in the launch event. We were given an Iced tea with bubbles by @HappyMeSA The tea was nice and I really loved it.

Justyn Spinner welcomed the guests and party was opened with a lot of VIP guests and who's who of Johannesburg City. I met some of the awesome people in the party along with my blogger friends - Katchie & Namritha. Here is Mr South Africa - John Owens with the REKORDERLIG Cidar that was served to all the guests.

After a while when all the guests were part of the party, Bianca Maletsky thanked all the guests for participating in their twitter/HoGello app contests and coming to the launch party. Their #HelloRockers hashtag trended in South Africa for the whole day of the event. She started giving away the prizes by various sponsors to the lucky winners and I too got the Klipdrift goodie bag as the second prize. 

Justyn handed over the prizes to all the winners. It's always great to meet Justyn and he remembered me from our last meeting in June at the launch of #CinePrestige @sterkinekor.

It was time to listen and enjoy to some of the amazing rock music by Cunning Brad.

The Rock music made the party more lively and people started to tap & dance.

I enjoyed my time there at the Hard Rock Cafe with Namritha and Katchie and met Simone Jacobs from Ster Kinekor & Bianca Maletsky for the first time. A party like this is always a great platform to develop good networking with the great celebrities of the town. The new food introduced by the Hard Rock Cafe was really good and I enjoyed it thoroughly within my restricted Vegetarian options.

The Hard Rock Cafe has the round bar and is always full of people enjoying themselves with their family and friends.

HRCJohannesburg also offers a lot of merchandise and collectibles for people to buy and cherish.

In the end, thanks a lot to Hello Joburg magazine for the invite and thanks to Justyn and Bianca for the awesome party. Congratulations to them on this new cover of Hello JoBurg Sep 2014 taken by Yiannis Hadjiaalanis.
