Product Review - RAIN Created for Living - Wild Cotton Cream

Hi Guys,

Rain - Created for living is a company which masters the art of bath and bathing products without testing them on animals. All of their products are unique and niche for those who want something different. This cosmetics company makes several herbal products like soaps, bath salts, scrubs, essential oils etc using the natural resources from South Africa.

I received Wild Cotton Cream from the company and really liked the packaging of the product. It came with a spoon which makes it really for gifting purposes. The cream is soft and fragrance is very nice. I have been using the likes of Nivea but I really loved this one a lot. My hands and arms remain soft and didn't felt dry in these winters when if you don't apply any cream, it makes them itchy. It has Marula oil which is organically harvested and utilized in making of this cream. The 225 ml pack of this cream costs R99 only and can be ordered online.

Rain has different range of products ( and using Wild Cotton cream, I can surely say that all will be nice to use and have. The website of Rain is www.rainafrica.com and company has a office in Swellendam, near Cape Town, South Africa.

The company has a full featured blog at http://www.rainqueendoodles.blogspot.com/ where the creators share the information about their various products and company.

They also run a SPA and recently launched a book Rain Book of Natural Soap Making - also which can be bought in case you have interest to make your own soaps.

Thanks a lot to Rain for introducing these products to me and I would really love to visit Rain SPA and Store in Swellendam on my trip to Cape Town in December holidays.

Cheers!!!

Indiblogger & Sunsilk - Naturally Recharged

Hi Guys!

Moving forward from the last years post when I was introduced to using shampoo and conditioner while having a bath by Sunsilk and it was a great learning curve since then. I have been on a roller coaster ride doing stuff I have never done in my life. As I am cooking for myself here in South Africa, I realised that several of the veggies I am cutting for the very first time in my 33 years of existence on planet Earth.

But yeah, I have always been lazy to use two packages i.e. Shampoo and then Conditioner. But with the change of habits, I really enjoy opening the shampoo which gives a great wash and really like the Conditioner which gave less foam but the hairs after the wash was so soft and silky shining that I did really fall in love with my hairs. For the best of the silky feel, now I always apply conditioner and it’s was worth it guys!

Sunsilk was never my brand till last year as I was lost in the big names of Dove, Garnier, Pantene etc and their advt mainly caught my eyes and ears for quite some time. It was only during the promotions of Race 2 bollywood movie I saw the advertisements of Sunsilk. Also during that time they launched 4 types of shampoo’s in collaboration with hair experts from all over the world.

Indiblogger has been a favourite of the Sunsilk brand to reach a lot of people through blog posts and word of mouth. This time we got another great product from the house of  Sunsilk in a great basket. The shampoo is named Sunsilk Natural Recharge and this time it is in collaboration with hair stylist and expert Jamal Hammadi. As per the pack it gives 5 times stronger hairs and with Ginseng plant root extracts brings out a great product.

This product is marketed for those who are very adventurous and loved their hairs also. The shampoo is really awesome and has a good fragrance. This shampoo has really made me forgot about the earlier version of Sunsilk Silky shampoo I was using. This is much better than the earlier versions and you will definitely like to retain your natural hairs and this shampoo will help us all to do so. So now when someone says that my hairs will be spoilt, if I go on off-roading or hiking, we know where to refer her to.

I would really like to thank Sunsilk and Indiblogger for giving me a chance to see the true value to having naturally recharged hair.

Cheers!!!

Blogadda & Starsports - Cricket Crazy Pepsi IPL Fans

Hi Guys,

It's a real story where I am planning to watch my first ever live cricket match in a stadium. It was the 8pm match and the fun & excitement of watching an IPL match live in Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium, New Delhi was immense. It all started when a friend of us got us some VIP tickets worth Rs 1500 each in the second season of Pepsi IPL.

The first season finale, I watched at a friend's place on his big LCD TV and on an inverter as electricity was a big problem in Gurgaon that day. We switched off all the lights and fans to keep TV and TATA sky running to watch the match till the end of last ball. We even ordered food which I don't think ever reached our home and there I was without food and without electricity watching Rajasthan Royals win and life the cup.

Coming back to the second season, we started building stories about going home early (for some emergency work etc) in office a week before the match day as we need to reach Delhi by 630-700 to reach and take our seats in the stadium. For the same we need to leave our Gurgaon office around 5pm whereas in general we used to leave by 730pm. I still remember it was the match between Delhi Daredevils and Deccan Chargers. We left office early somehow and kept driving my Maruti 800 in the left side because as per our friend that's the lane you should keep your car in case you want to reach on time. It helps you bypass a lot of traffic. Anyhow, he was a daily commuter and we were left stranded many a times and he kept waiting at regular intervals to catch up on us. I also didn't knew of the way to the stadium.

We reached Daryaganj and parked our vehicles there and ate some snacks. We walked to the stadium with full enthusiasm. We bought these big noise producing horns along with the flags of the Delhi Daredevils. As we passed the security, and reached our seats. They were normal chairs covered with white clothes. Everyone was sitting and policeman came and took my horn as I started blowing that and kept it with themselves. My friend hid his whistle and horn from those policemen. He was a son of an IAS officer so he knew some tricks of the trade.

The match started and we were jumping with joy on our chairs and again policeman came and told us to stay on our seats. That was hampering our joys and spirits a lot. I cursed my friend for getting VIP tickets whereas people in stands with Rs 500 tickets were not only dancing but also were closer to the cheerleaders. They have all the whistles and horns to blow. There was no restriction on those stands. We made a promise to each other that never we are going to again watch Pepsi IPL on these corporate white chairs.

Meanwhile, we kept our promise and replaced our next two matches VIP tickets with someone having stand tickets. I don't know how many lies and stories we built in office to go home early to reach stadium before time.

I loved waiting in the rain for the match to start  between Delhi Daredevils vs Kolkata Knight Riders and it took me some days to recover from cough and cold.  I really came across the Cricketing spirits of people from all age groups, women and children alike when they were all drenched in rain and still waiting for the match to start. It was the time when I really saw the whole KKR team as they were entering the bus and I was just standing next to the same by chance. It was really great to see Saurabh Ganguly from a feet distance.

Pepsi IPL is a craze and it's my own story. Though I consider myself not the biggest and the craziest fan of cricket, but as Cricket is in our Indian blood and it makes us all feel great when we see our team win. Starsports.com has really introduced some of the features for people who are outside the country to watch the matches live as well with lot of features we always wanted. I really loved to watch the Action replay to decide on the LBW, runouts even before third umpire raises his fingers.

We can even see the Deferred match with a 5 min delay in full HD quality without being afraid of being attacked by spam and viruses using some unauthorized streaming websites. I am really enjoying all the matches on the website as and when I can't see them on TV at home.

I love Cricket and the format of the game which can truly be enjoyed in one of your nearest cities and IPL play grounds. Go for it! Gayle is coming for batting while Dale Steyn has the cricket ball in his hands & Dhoni is wicketkeeping.

JUSTICE is Served

Hi Guys,

Sometimes Justice takes a lot of time and generations to be served in it's right context. But no matter how much delay is caused, it will be served sooner or later. Generations loses hope as it takes time to bring impartiality in it's judgement which doesn't go well with today's youth.
So, it's time we chose to take the sword in our own hands with the right power of VOTING, our democracy gives us. We can chose our leader who can then serve the justice as and when required with full force.
Once it is served, everyone should be satisfied with it's results. Everyone knows in their hearts, what bad or good they have done in their lives and they will be judged on it without any discrimination.

Cheers!!!

Product Review - Skullcandy Titan Supreme Sound Earphones

Hi Guys,

After my experience with Skullcandy Rock headphones, it's my time to meet the in-earphones with mic from the house of Skullcandy. They come in painted metal housing and looks pretty cool in bronze color.
They are priced around R220 in DionWired but on their website the same was offered at more than 50% discount.
Having a great sounding earphones with MIC is an added advantage. These earphones produces a lot of bass above and over the natural sound. The earbuds looks heavy due to it's metallic touch but are not heavy at all. They are comfortable to wear for longer durations too.
They comes with a small metal case to carry the earbuds around saving them from wear and tear.
The whole touch and feel of the earphones is worth it's value and Skullcandy has always been a fashion brand in this industry offering a lot of choices to it's young customers.
Based on the sound quality, they are similar to my Sennheiser Adidas CX310 with a lot of bass added on to them. They are comfortable to wear and offers mic functionality which makes them great at this price range.

The control functions works with all of the Apple devices and android smartphones.

If you are really looking for good earphones around R100 check if there are some available at any of the DionWired stores and pick one for future use or for gifting someone.

Cheers!!!
