Episode 1 – Everything is Connected (9 & 11 June)

Along the banks of the Mighty Zambezi River, lies one of Zambia’s most precious gems: The Lower Zambezi National Park. Home to hundreds of thriving bird, fish and wildlife species. But as economic pressure in the region grows, so does the pressure on Zambia’s natural resources. Ecologist David Ngwenyama has been on a mission to save this wild haven from the biggest threat in its history. Uncover the cultural and spiritual past of the Lower Zambezi, delve into Zambia’s founding father’s commitment to preserve its diverse natural heritage, and follow one man’s 10-year battle to save it all. A riveting episode of how the park came into being, and a relentless quest to protect this unique and fragile ecosystem.

Episode 2 – Protectors of The Park (16 & 18 June)

Huge strides have been made by those who have dedicated their lives to reducing poaching and growing the Lower Zambezi National Park’s wildlife and elephant populations, creating a thriving eco-tourism industry that stretches beyond the park’s unfenced borders. Increased local community engagement is necessary to create an environment in which humans and wildlife can coexist sustainably. This episode uncovers the symbiotic dance of conservation and ecotourism, illustrating how this intricate partnership not only safeguards wildlife but also sustains human livelihoods. Wild Zambezi. The battle for our world’s last nature strongholds has begun.

Episode 3 – The Changing Climate (23 & 25 June)

This episode explores communities living on the northern border of the Lower Zambezi National Park who are facing food insecurity due to climate change and turning to deforestation. A carbon credit project offers a solution to break this destructive cycle and provide alternative livelihoods. Protecting transfrontier corridors that are crucial in safeguarding ancient wildlife migration routes. But a mine in the Lower Zambezi National Park will most certainly put more pressure on the wildlife’s ability to seasonally migrate. Discover how to protect these last wildlife legacy landscapes and the corridors that so many species rely on.

Episode 4 – David & Goliath (30 June & 02 July)

Understanding the struggle of impoverished communities to the East of the Lower Zambezi National Park, it is easy to see why a mining project in the area would bring hope. Delving deeper into the Kangaluwi Copper mine, we look at its viability, potential environmental impacts, and how they got their mining license and environmental impact approval. As suspicions arise about the mining company’s motives, this episode reflects on ongoing efforts by conservationists, to improve the lives of those around the park. David Ngwenyama faces personal consequences, due to his involvement to try and stop the mine. Join him on his first and last visit to the park as he reflects on the severity of the situation. What precedent will this mine set for protected areas in Zambia, and Africa as a whole? There is still time to stop the mine.

New Year Resolutions - Week 27 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

Hi Guys,

It's my birthday month in Week 29 and I want to see what can I get on my birthday this time as I want to buy certain items and will check them out to buy myself. I have started thinking of getting rid of all my stuff by giving it to people who will enjoy the same. This time my family and friends in India are going for a good ride as I will give away all the stuff to them in December 2023. 

1. Campaigns - I totally loved Fry's campaign that I did with theSalt influencer platform. My wife created a nice dish using the product that I bought from Checkers Hyper in Sandton City. I also did another Twitter campaign with the Humanz app and awaiting payment now which will take another 2 months to reach me. 

2. Events - I attended the Huawei Eco-Connect 2023 and got some nice goodies by virtue of attending the same. Some of the goodies I missed getting also but overall it was a great event. I was also called to the Tecno Mobile office in South Africa to collect the goodies bag and I totally loved the same too. 

3. Thank You - I started once again from the 2000 mark and reached 5000 and again the counter got reset to zero. It's really irritating but it also tells that you should only focus on the arigato habit rather than counting the same. 

4. Religious - I saw the Sant Nirankari Mission's current spiritual head Mata Sudiksha as she visited Johannesburg for the first time. There was a nice prayer programme to commemorate her blessings to visit the country. There was a lady with her that sang so well that immediately I knew she is a trained singer and came to know that she is Manya Narang. She is the singer behind the Pathaan's antagonist theme music i.e. whenever John Abraham comes on the screen there is a piece of music running in the background whose vocals are provided by Manya. All the very best to her in her future endeavours! 

5. Travel - I still am not over the images from Victoria Falls and have totally fallen in love with Zambia. This is really something and you should definitely visit the same. Check some of the images and videos I have shared on my socials. I love to travel and then I want to create a lot of content later depending on the time I have at hand. 

There is another week left between this week and my upcoming birthday on 22nd July. I have always thought that my life has been the Life of Pi as I was born on 22/7 which is 3.14 which represents Pi in mathematics. This number is never totally divisible and can go to infinite and so are my struggles that go on and on. I have always lived fighting the same and will continue to do so in future as well.

New Year Resolutions - Week 26 Achievements & Failures in 2023 #TheLifesWay

Hi Friends,

Week 26 is the half-way to the rest of the year and you have to think about all the things you didn't do in the previous weeks or half year. I also completed 16 Years of working with my organisation but nowadays there are no benefits to sticking to a single brand. You need to upskill consistently and change and work for the money rather than being in a single organisation. 

1. Launch Events and Expo - I attended the Rail Expo and came to know a lot about the various products and software that are needed to run the trains and other vehicles. Also, I attended the Data Storage Expo which was a very small event with some of the partners of Huawei Cloud. It was a really nice event and got some goodies as well from both expos. I also attended the Parent's Event for Meta where they showcased a lot of privacy and protection settings for your growing kids and teenagers to control the spam and bullying on the internet. 

2. Travel - This is the week where I travelled to Zambia for the first time ever. I really enjoyed Victoria Falls and this is a must-visit site for people living in Africa esp South Africa or those who can afford to visit the same. I am thankful to the Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls Resort by Anantara for the lovely accommodation and free entry to Victoria Falls. More on the same later in a separate post and also you can check my YouTube shorts on the trip. 

3. Thank You - The counter was reset at zero and then I closed the week to reach the 2000 mark only as I didn't carry the same to Zambia or any other events. 

4. Holidays - Going on holidays is always awesome and I am grateful to my wife for taking me to Zambia. I really loved Victoria Falls so much that I went there 5 times in a span of 3-4 days. This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls and I have not seen Niagra Falls yet so can't compare it with the same. This is around 1.7km long where 1.2km is in Zambia starting from Eastern Cataract and you can actually walk down to the gorge as well which is named Boiling Pot. Also, Devil's Pool is in Zambia side which really needs you to be courageous. There is consistent helicopter noise in the area though which starts from 600am and goes on till 630pm which is really irritating for the first-timers. 

5. Smartphone & Camera for Trip - I requested all the brands to lend me a phone to take to Victoria Falls but none of the PR agencies could do so. It's definitely a big loss for them as well as Nikon which told me they are sending me the camera but it never reached. It's fine because you can never take it to the falls as there was a lot of water and continuous rain due to the volume of water falling into the gorge that's just 109m at the highest point. Even my smartphone was getting closed as water droplets felt like touch and it was bringing the camera back to the home screen. But it's fine as it's always to travel light and if they are not paying then it's fine as you don't need to do anything and just enjoy the surroundings. I need to build my network with the posts and ideas that I want to convey and let's create content irrespective of the gadget being used. Let's start!

I am okay to see that I don't need to do anything for any brand which is not doing anything for me in return. Let's enjoy the party that will finish the week on a high note at one of my friends' houses.
