Hi Friends,

Nestlé Recipes with Love (which is the food giant’s recipe platform) hosted a creative cooking class with their iconic brand MAGGI LAZENBY and the Nestlé culinary solutions range, to celebrate healthy and tasty meals to showcase how these brands can be creatively incorporated and allow you to cook and bake delicious everyday meals.

The cooking class took place at the NESTLÉ Kitchen in Bryanston and celebrity chef, Chef Mbombi demonstrated the usage and versatility in preparing truly authentic, South African dishes of chicken livers, lamb knuckle curry, and granadilla lime fridge tart.

Attending the masterclass were celebrities Chef Lucia Mthiyane and Theo Nhlengethwa, to name a few. Influencers like Twiggy and Linda Mkhanya also joined in the cooking on the day. Attendees teamed up in pairs to create a dynamic team cooking experience, taking turns to cook and support each other, under the expert guidance of Chef Mbombi.

“MAGGI LAZENBY is a liquid seasoning made of natural spices; nutmeg, coriander, cloves, and garlic. When used in preparing your meals it enhances the flavor of the dish and gives it something special to delight your family and friends. It can be used as a condiment to dash onto your eggs, as a marinade for your braai, or adding extra flavor to your bloody mary”, states Laila Naidoo, Business Executive Officer, Food at Nestlé South Africa.

Whether you are using Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk as an ingredient when baking or Nestlé Ideal Evaporated Milk for the creaminess of soups, stews, and pasta, Nestlé’s culinary solutions range is all made with real milk and is perfect for adding your special touch to everyday sweet or savory meals, giving the meal a full round taste”, adds Adedoja Ekeruche, Business Executive Officer, Dairy at Nestlé South Africa.

The guests used the Nestlé Dessert and Cooking Cream in the creamy parmesan samp. What is lunch without a dessert? You may ask. Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk was the main ingredient in the Granadilla lime tart.

About Nestlé South Africa
Nestlé South Africa is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nestlé Switzerland. The first Nestlé products arrived in South Africa during the 1870s, and the company’s presence in South Africa was formally entrenched on 7 July 1916 when it registered as a company. In order to meet the demands of a growing country, local production started in 1927 with the purchase of the South African Condensed Milk Company Ltd factory in Donnybrook, and the Estcourt and Franklin factories. Nestlé South Africa also services neighboring countries – Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, and Namibia. Nestlé is committed to bringing consumers tastier, healthier choices in their product offering, and will continuously strive to become the leading Nutrition, Health, and Wellness company.
