Last Year December was very hectic at work and I could not find time to do any blog posts. I did receive some surprise gifts from one of the brands which I wrote about. December 2016 felt like the shortest month where it passed as soon as it came.

Loved the same in red color and gifted the same to my mom as she liked the portable charger with a built-in torch.

2. Love thy neighbour…but don’t get caught! #ChatsworthStyle #KandasamysMovie @kandasamysmovie - http://www.thelifesway.com/2016/12/love-thy-neighbourbut-dont-get-caught.html - This is one of the best locally made movie on South African Indian community. I totally fell in love with the movie and it's star cast when I met them at the premiere of the same. Watch it on DVD or online this is a riot of laughter and fun. 

3. @TheGreatMoscow Circus Opens in #Johannesburg #MoscowCircus @MonteCasinoZA - http://www.thelifesway.com/2016/12/thegreatmoscow-circus-opens-in.html - Montecasino is an entertainment hub always bringing the best of the world to Johannesburg, South Africa. I have always been a part of many events and shows they have on their premises and The Great Moscow Circus was awesome to be a part of. The show offered a lot of magic and acrobatic performances which kept the audiences glued to its seats in amazement.

4. Are You Drinking And Driving? #DriveDry #ThisIsMyStory #Diageo Campaign - http://www.thelifesway.com/2016/12/are-you-drinking-and-driving-drivedry.html - This is again that time of the year when people need to be aware of the same. Drinking and Driving have impacted a lot of lives and let's make the world around you a safer place during the Summer and Christmas holidays here in South Africa. @TheGreatMoscow Circus Opens in #Johannesburg #MoscowCircus @MonteCasinoZA

A packed audience was left amazed and exhilarated at the much anticipated opening night of The Great Moscow Circus at Montecasino in Johannesburg on 22nd December 2016.

Magnificent props, gorgeous costumes, swathes of curtains, hundreds of LED lights, and crystal clear cutting edge sound were the order of the evening, as audiences immersed themselves in a sensational, two-hour world premiere program featuring 19 incredible international circus acts.

Every possible circus favourite was performed - the funniest clowns, the most-daring acrobats, death-defying daredevils, aerial artists, balancers, and much more – all under a mighty 40-metre diameter, 17 meter high, spectacular air-conditioned Big Top circus tent.

“The Great Moscow Circus guarantees breath-taking, affordable, family entertainment that delivers all the thrills and fun of the circus of yesteryear, with all the skill and daring of today’s circus heroes,” said Andrew Guild, International Producer Theatre Tours International.

“As Gauteng’s premier entertainment destination we pride ourselves in creating memorable experiences by hosting world class events such as The Great Moscow Circus. Last night was truly sensational!” said Debbie Combrink, Marketing Manager Montecasino.

The Montecasino shows form part of a South African tour, which includes shows in Cape Town, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth.

The tour features some of the best circus stars in the international circus world, including Monte Carlo’s famed International Circus Festival, daredevils from Spain and Mexico, and Europe’s top circus attractions, all hand-picked by Guild.

During Soviet times, Guild made more than 250 visits to Moscow and travelled extensively throughout Russia and the Soviet states. A fluent Russian speaker, married to a former Russian ballerina, he has toured more than 7,000 performers in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and the UK. He has used this experience to find the very best acts to star in The Great Moscow Circus Tour of South Africa.

With only a limited season, the producers urge audiences to book early to ensure they don’t miss out.
