I bought this Jinhao 82 Clear Demonstrator Fountain Pen in EF nib for USD 10 from Amazon.com on my trip to America. This is locally available from WriteSpoke for as low as ZAR 250 if you buy bundled pens. This pen is available in around 36 different variants, including Gold and Silver trims, at Amazon. 

WriteSpoke also has about the same number of 31 variants available locally, too. Price at ZAR 399 individually, but bundled as 3, the price is ZAR 900 and for 4 pens, it's only ZAR 1000. Check them out!

Stationery Review 251 - Jinhao Tiandao 1935 Fountain Pen (F) USD 16

Hi Friends,

I bought this Jinhao Tiandao 1935 Fountain Pen just because of the Guitar clip and swords nib. This is an awesome pen with a very large ink converter capacity. The colours are nice and look great in the blue and red combination with golden trims. Check it out! This is the pen my hands and eyes keep picking up due to its star features and the nice blue coloured transparent body design. It writes well, but the only suggestion I have for Jinhao is to have an insert in the cap to keep the nib protected and wet as due to the air flow inside the cap, the nib is dry as and when you write after some hours. 

Jinhao 1935 is also available at the WriteSpoke online store in Johannesburg, South Africa. It's priced at around ZAR 650 each. WriteSpoke email subscribers enjoy a 20% discount on weekends for select items and sometimes on all the products.

Diamine Philip is a darker purple ink with a golden/red sheen. This is also a unique combination just like the previous one with Turquoise ink with red sheen. Diamine Gruntled Guava is really a nice ink, which in Hindi we can call Kesari colour. Gruntled means happy, and here, the guava is happy and has created this colour. Diamine Ink names are really great, and I really like yellow-orange colours the most.

Diamine has some of the inks named after person names as well. I am not so sure why they did do so, if you know then please let me know. In the next few days, we will showcase more of such inks which are named after people's names. Diamine Becky is a dark brown ink that really feels like a pigmented. As a matter of fact, all these ink names after individuals are highly pigmented as compared to all the inks in the range of diamine inks.

Stationery Review 156 - Diamine Bored Banana Fountain Pen Ink from Cult Pens @CultPens

Hi Friends,

Diamine Bored Banana is also a variant of the Diamine Yellow coloured ink. I really loved it, and we can do some mystery mixing of the inks to create some new colours in the coming days. As I told you earlier, that Yellow is the colour that's required the most if you want to create your own ink colours. Check it out!

Some of these inks are available at Sandton Stationery & Print shop in Sandton City. Some more colours are available at Applebee Pens in Johannesburg and the WriteGear store in Cape Town. These are also available at WriteSpoke and WriteGear Online Stores as well. The price of these inks is around ZAR 100 for a 30ml bottle.

Stationery Review 155 - Diamine Twilight Fountain Pen Ink from Cult Pens @CultPens

Hi Friends, 

Diamine Twilight is the ink I would have never checked out if this was not part of the 16 inks package from Cult Pens UK. This is what happens when you get these random inks, and maybe you will like them as a surprise. I also do mystery unboxing only because of the same reason, because it's so much fun. This ink is really nice if you are trying to find an alternative to black ink. Check it out!

Stationery Review 154 - Diamine Ancient Copper Fountain Pen Ink from Cult Pens @CultPens

Hi Friends,

Diamine Ancient Copper is the first ink I sought after and found the same at Sandton Stationery & Print. The batch of the 30ml ink I got from there was not alright. So when this ink came back in a 12ml bottle, it gave me a chance to see the actual colour. I totally loved this one when I saw the ink swabs from various retail brands. This will definitely feature in my top 10 inks when we do the favourites after finishing all the 32 inks from Diamine. Check it out.

Stationery Review 153 - Diamine Monboddo's Hat Fountain Pen Ink from Cult Pens @CultPens

Hi Friends, 

Diamine Monboddo's Hat is a darker violet, and it looks really pigmented. I will be using the same on an EF/F nib fountain pen. Check it out!
