Hi Friends, 

October is always a busy month full of new launches and expo's to attend to. I always look forward to Photo and Film Expo, rAge Expo and many new smartphone launches from many brands. There are also some birthdays of family and friends which keeps you occupied all the weekends. Lately, I have observed that if I am spending time on my blog, I am missing out on a lot of things and if I am not getting anything in return, then it's better to make this blog my own content only rather than posting press releases. If someone invites me to their events, I will post about them and if someone sends me press drops or money, then only I will post their stuff on my channels.

1. I was marking Samsung also on all my posts on the network. I have been an unofficial ambassador of the brand. Many thanks to them for making all these capable smartphones to completely wipe out the market of point and shoot cameras. 

2. @HuaweiZA Unveils The HUAWEI Mate 10 and HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro #AndroidSmartphone - https://www.thelifesway.com/2017/10/huaweiza-unveils-huawei-mate-10-and.html - I was not invited to the launch event of Huawei Mate 10 last year in 2017 but this year I attended the Mate 20 Lite and Pro launch. I have not asked for the review units yet, as I am unable to find time to finish all my pending items and tasks. I think about and worry about these blog posts but nothing moves. It gets into the delayed cycle for so long that eventually, I lose interest too and the PR company too.

Website Review - www.ShopAcer.co.za #OnlineShopping @AcerAfrica #ShopAcer #SouthAfrica - https://www.thelifesway.com/2017/10/website-review-wwwshopacercoza.html - Acer opened their online shop last year and I got the chance to review the same. I bought Acer's LCD display using the R500 coupon provided and I watched STAR WARS series of movies on the same and really loved the same. Black Panther, I really loved watching on the same too.

Product Review - @AcerAfrica Swift 7 Laptop #Swift7 #AcerForBlogging -  http://www.thelifesway.com/2017/10/product-review-acerafrica-swift-7.html - Reviewing any products comes with a huge responsibility to get not blinded by any particular feature but check those pros and cons which can really impact the person who will put their hard earned money to buy the products you review. I really loved this Swift 7 laptop which is equivalent to MacBook Air in terms of design and beauty with Windows OS. I missed touch panel and backlit keyboard on the version I received for review.

5. Hotel Review - Sangiro Lodge #Bloemfontein @LodgeSangiro @Bains_Lodges #SouthAfrica - http://www.thelifesway.com/2017/10/hotel-review-sangiro-lodge-bloemfontein.html - I really loved a little trip to Bloemfontein invited by Sangiro Lodge to stay for 3 nights and enjoy the nearby towns like Kimberley and have a great time with family. I really loved my 10th anniversary in the employer I am working for last year. It's a long period and I am looking forward to many more if Universe has no other plans for me.

Time is money and we all heard or read this adage from time to time but to follow and spend this wisely is what needs to be learned. I am learning this and questioning all my decisions to write or not write or to promote or not promote by comparing my Return on Time from time to time. I am not worried about ROI as much as I am worried about sacrificing family and friends time to post some press releases which no one reads or is widely available on other channels too. On top of it, If I demand companies they ask for Analytics to say that no it doesn't match our requirements etc, so it's better to post what you are interested to write about in your day to day life!

Hi Friends,

October is the month when the country welcomes the Summer season and Jacaranda trees are on the full bloom too. October sets the stage for a lot of local events from rAge Expo to Photo and Film Expo. I really look forward to October because it's also the time when we Indians celebrate the biggest Hindu festival of light called Deepawali. There are a series of little to big celebrations during this time as we meet all out family members and friends and wish for their prosperity and success.

1. @Hasbro Launches #SouthAfrica's Own Monopoly Mzansi #MonopolyMzansi - http://www.thelifesway.com/2016/10/hasbro-launches-southafricas-own.html - Hasbro launched the Monopoly game in South Africa with it's own Mzansi Edition. The launch event was a race between several teams in Maboneng Precinct followed up by a party at Hard Rock Cafe in Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton. My daughter really loves the game and plays it till today. 

2. @HuaweiZA Jumps To Number 72 @Interbrand Best Global Brands Report #BGB2016 - http://www.thelifesway.com/2016/10/huaweiza-jumps-to-number-72-interbrand.html - Huawei has the fastest rise in terms of ratings with the rise in it's P and Mate series smartphones. They are innovative and devices have a lot of features. Mate 10 is going to be launched on 16th October 2017 so looking forward to the same and hoping for the best in terms of Artificial Intelligence on the phone.

Africa's Largest #Photographic Event Starts 27-30 Oct @PhotoFilmExpo #Jozi - http://www.thelifesway.com/2016/10/africas-largest-photographic-event.html - Photo and Film Expo is one of the biggest events as photography is the biggest passion amongst any kind of person starting from a children to a teenager to any adults. Though the smartphone has made the creative reach wide amongst the whole world but still people want to carry the regular DSLR, mirrorless to enhance their photography skills further. The event is full of exclusive classes, sessions and equipments on sale. Looking forward to this year's Photo and Film Expo too. 

4. #Johannesburg #rAgeExpo2016 Sees Record-Breaking Attendance @rAgeExpo - http://www.thelifesway.com/2016/10/johannesburg-rageexpo2016-sees-record.html - rAge stands for Really AWESOME Gaming Expo and every new year beats the previous year's expo in terms of size and games. I have attended the same 4th year this time since my 4 years in this country South Africa. This year I got some great deals on several products.

An Epic #MonteMadness Is About To Begin @MonteCasinoZA @OpelSA #OpelAdam - http://www.thelifesway.com/2016/10/an-epic-montemadness-is-about-to-begin.html - It was an awesome event where 31 cars were being driven from the dealership to the MonteCasino and then it will be given away to the lucky players at Casino floor. I really loved the little Opel Adam for it's feature. 

I am looking forward to what great things October 2017 has in store for me and I am thankful to Universe for bringing me everything I need and want. I have thought to finish all the pending tasks in the last quarter of the calendar year from all the devices bought to review that needs to be done on The Life's Way. The Life's Way will celebrate its 5 year anniversary so I am really looking forward to creating some big opportunities in the times to come.

Hi Guys, 

October generally is the most busiest month for bloggers and social media influencers as there are many launch events planned. I was too part of so many events last year in 2015 including rAge Expo, Montecasino launches and winners and some of the new smartphones from HTC. 

1. Desire 626 comes to @HTCSouthAfrica #HTCOneLifeSA - http://www.thelifesway.com/2015/10/desire-626-comes-to-htcsouthafrica.html - Desire 626 was the phone I got to review from HTC South Africa and really loved the design of the same, dual color body and light weight with capable processor for a mid-level price range smartphone. 

2. A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Oct 2014 - http://www.thelifesway.com/2015/10/a-memoir-this-month-last-year-oct-2014.html - October in 2014 some of the friends left Johannesburg to leave for greener pastures in India and other parts of the world. But I feel that this blog series keeps reminding me of several historical events in my life.

It was 0 post in 2013, 8 posts in 2014 and 12 posts in 2015 and 2016 currently stands at 16 posts. 

There are many more posts but I don't feel to share it now as my top 5 posts so let's rest them at 3 this month. However, October is the start of the next years planning and this year I am watching a lot of Lynda.com videos to learn some new skills and trying to implement them in my next year planning for The Life's Way. I have got some of the things I always wanted but still some of the things my heart desires are still far because the methods I have tried are not working in my favor. So that's why a changes of skills is required to refocus on those and get what I want!
