Acer announced the latest version of its popular Spin 1 convertible notebook. With a sleek all-metal chassis, the Windows 10 device is lightweight, portable and supports Windows Ink through an Acer Active Stylus1 for creative users on the go.

Weighing in at just 1.25 kg (2.76 lbs), the 14 mm-thin chassis sports the latest Intel® Pentium® or Intel® Celeron® processors, 4 GB DDR3L memory as well as a choice of 32 / 64 / 128 GB eMMC storage. Its crisp 11.6-inch Full HD (1920x1080) touch-enabled screen with IPS technology displays vibrant colors at 178-degree viewing angles. Eight hours of battery life allows users to work, play, share, and draw all day with four versatile modes (laptop, display, tablet and tent).

The Spin 1 combines superb hardware with innovative features to make the user experience really pop. On all models the Precision Touchpad, which supports Windows 10 gestures, allows users to work faster and smoother due to accurate tracking of their fingertips and movements. To help with more complex projects, the Spin 1 is fully ready to work with the Acer Active Stylus1 accessory which enables precise and direct on-screen input, providing a natural pen-on-paper experience. Users can quickly turn thoughts into action, capture ideas swiftly and naturally with Windows Ink.

With fast and reliable wireless connectivity through 802.11ac 2x2 technology, the Spin 1 is capable of providing up to three times faster downloads compared to traditional 802.11n 2x2 devices. The device also features Acer BluelightShield which may help to reduce eye strain from prolonged screen viewing.

Speakers with Acer TrueHarmony™ technology are located on both sides of the device. Audio channels automatically reverse to ensure optimal sound quality in any mode, and are paired with a HD webcam for video chats. Additional connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, one USB 3.1 port, one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port and one microSD (SDXC) card slot.

Acer Swift 3 – Essential Features at a Compelling Price
Measuring in at 0.71 inches (17.95 mm) in height and weighing 3.9 pounds (1.8 kg), the Swift 3’s svelte and lightweight design features a sturdy brushed-aluminium body that offers a robust feel and beautiful tactile touch. It features 7th Generation Intel® Core™ processors, Intel®HD or NVIDIA® GeForce® graphics, and offers up to 10 hours of battery life to help users power through a full day of work and beyond. Acer has announced new additions to its consumer notebook range at the next@acer press event at 4 World Trade Center in New York on 21 April 2016 with the convertible Aspire R 15, all new Aspire F Series with premium metal covers, and the stylishly Aspire E Series and Aspire ES 15 for everyday computing, all of which are powered by Windows 10.

360-degree Versatility with the Aspire R 15

The Acer Aspire R 15 was awarded the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016 for its excellent blend of design and usability. The metal top cover features a hairline-brushed finish, and the bottom cover is made of 40% glass fiber and silver particles, which improves rigidity while maintaining a thin profile. Diamond-cut edges complement the 360-degree versatility of the Aspire R 15, which can lay perfectly flat at 180-degrees, and with Acer’s patented soft-closing hinge design, converting between laptop, tablet, display and tent modes have never been so elegant.

The Aspire R 15 features 6th Generation Intel® Core™ processors, up to 12GB DDR4 memory with faster speed and lower power consumption, up to NVIDIA® GeForce® 940MX graphics and a reversible USB 3.1 Type-C port. The 2016 Acer Aspire E Series is refreshed with seven color options, available in Marble White, Steel Grey, Twilight Purple, Red Copper, Obsidian Black, Rococo Red and Indigo Blue, each model features a metallic horizontal hairline-brush design with a premium textile pattern.
