Stationery Review 318 - Maped Cosmic Fountain Pen (INR 90) - Don't Buy it!

Hi Friends,

I bought this Maped Cosmic Fountain Pen for Rs 90, and this pen is not even writing out of the box. There is no proper ink flow. Comes with only 2 cartridges and doesn't work at all. Such a waste of money considering the Maped brand value.

Even after changing the cartridge to another one, this one is not working at all. The shopkeeper also didn't agree to replace the same, so it's money wasted. Never buy this pen, and the rubber grip keeps rotating, so the design is also not good, as it makes the cap not fit properly if not aligned with the slot.

Stationery Review 275 - Maped Harry Potter Felt Tip Markers

Hi Friends, 

I bought these Maped Harry Potter Felt Tip Pens in 12 colours from Bidvest Waltons when they were about to close their stores in Wynberg. I got these for only ZAR 35, whereas the real price is around ZAR 120. Check them out!

These are some really good quality felt-tip pens to do their arts, crafts and drawing at school and home. This is our first time using the Maped products; last we reviewed the Helix Oxford fountain pen, which we were not aware that it's the same brand here in South Africa.

Stationery Review 120: Helix Oxford Fountain Pen Medium Nib (ZAR 201)

Hi Friends, 

Thanks to Loot.co.za for selling this Helix Oxford Fountain Pen in medium nib with 1 ink cartridge in blue coloured ink. The same I got for around ZAR 201. The better version is Pilot MR Range of Fountain Pens which I also got for ZAR 200 earlier from Sandton Stationery & Print shop last year. Now the same has been priced at ZAR 250 and it's a much better pen than this one. Check it out! 

The Helix Oxford Fountain Pen is available in multiple colours and the same is available at Takealot for around ZAR 179. Please see if you like this one or the Pilot Metropolitan Fountain Pen.
