Hi Friends, 

Temu Flower Series - Tangerine Fountain Pen Ink is a great orange coloured ink. This is really nice, which is not only legible but writes smoothly on the paper as it dries really fast. This ink comes in a 15ml glass bottle, which is the best size to test the fountain pen inks. These ink bottles are priced at around ZAR 60 each, including the postage and customs charges, as I ordered all 12 colours from the Temu app.

Temu Flower Series - Jasper Fountain Pen Ink is a nice green coloured ink that is totally different from the ones we already had. These inks from Temu are really good. I really love the way they have done some colour differentiations from the other popular inks in the market. My go-to inks for green are Diamine Sherwood Green and Montblanc Irish Green, along with Lamy Green T52.

Stationery Review 345 - Temu Flower Series - Acid Blue Fountain Pen Ink

Hi Friends,

Temu Flower Series - Acid Blue Fountain Pen Ink is what I bought from the Temu app, and it cost me around ZAR 600 for all 12 colours it was available in. This is a 15ml bottle and is perfect for testing them out, and will definitely last me a long time. 

I am really surprised at the quality of these inks and the ink colour that looks great on the ink swab paper, as well as the Rhodia journal. This ink is not cheap if you import it to your country, so try to find something in your local country. If you are in the UK, buy the Diamine inks, which are manufactured there only. It is available in hundreds of colours.

I bought this Deli Honour Fountain Pen Ink in Dark blue colour for ZAR 40 from Mellows Stationery Shop F09 in China Mall, Johannesburg. If you buy 10 pieces of the ink, then it will only cost you ZAR 30 for a 30ml bottle. But I will wait for all the ink colours to arrive before venturing into that. Check it out!

This is a little darker blue colour and can be similar to the one that you would find in the regular Blue-Black ink. I have compared it against so many inks that I have in my collection.

Stationery Review 176 - Lamy T52 Petrol Fountain Pen Ink (50ml) @SandtonStat

Hi Friends, 

Lamy launched 2 new colours of inks named Petrol and Sepia in the month of March 2025. The same is available at Sandton Stationery & Print for around ZAR 250 each. I have reviewed the Lamy Petrol in this video. Lamy Petrol is the darkest green ink with a lot of black into the same. Though at no point the black is visible but it's really a dark green ink as a whole. 

The ink is priced at around ZAR 250 for a 50ml bottle which also a whole roll of blotting paper to clean your pens on the go. Otherwise, I am not sure if you will ever buy blotting paper because you will just clean the ink with tissue paper or a towel or whatever mechanism you are already using. I have a lot of tissue papers coloured in inks which I have kept for nostalgia purposes. They do smell bad as well as inks are made from some form of chemicals and every brand uses different chemicals.

I got this ink as a gift from a guy whose fountain pen collection I bought. He gifted me this one as he didn't like the colour of this ink and told me to try the same. Hi Friends,

I got this Taccia fountain pen ink in the Maido in a Box DX Volume 19 box. The same is also showcased on my stationery playlist. This is a video on the ink swab and how it compares against all the blue inks we have. 

Taccia's range of inks is available locally in South Africa exclusively at WriteSpoke online store. You can get the full range of The Jeans collection as well as other inks. I have not bought any other Taccia ink as yet, but got some suggestions in the comments section by a viewer so will definitely try them even if I have to get a 3ml or 10ml sample pack. 3ml pack won't work because some of the ink will go into the ink swab, so 5ml to 10ml will work best.

Diamine Philip is a darker purple ink with a golden/red sheen. This is also a unique combination just like the previous one with Turquoise ink with red sheen. Stationery Review 167 - Diamine Maureen Fountain Pen Ink from Cult Pens @CultPens

Hi Friends,

Diamine Maureen is a darker royal blue ink with a red sheen. I really love this combination of blue and red colours, and there are many inks like that, and I have also ordered one from Endless Works, which I will receive anywhere in April 2025. Check it out!

Some of these inks are available at Sandton Stationery & Print shop in Sandton City. Some more colours are available at Applebee Pens in Johannesburg and the WriteGear store in Cape Town. These are also available at WriteSpoke and WriteGear Online Stores as well. The price of these inks is around ZAR 100 for a 30ml bottle.

Hi Friends, 

Diamine Helen is a darker green ink with a red sheen. This is really a great one just like the other named inks. If you like darker pigmented inks then you should buy Diamine inks that are named after persons/individuals. There must be some history behind the naming convention of these inks may be on authors or writers or noble prize winners. In United Kingdom, you can always expect that when they named something it will be after someone famous originating from their lands. Check it out!

Hi Friends, 

Diamine Louise is a yellow ink with a little brown ink in the same. I really loved this colour as my favourite colour is yellow. This ink is really legible on the paper as compared to the yellow ones. Check it out!

Diamine Matthew is a lighter black ink. I am comparing it against the Diamine Onyx Black, which is a brilliant dark black ink, and the darkest amongst all the black inks I have from all the brands. Check it out!
