Capture Every Moment Confidently with the Galaxy S26

Hi Guys,

Super Steady Video with Horizontal Lock Delivers Smoother, Smarter Content Creation Wherever Life Takes You

– These days, content is king, meaning that having a smartphone camera that can keep up is no longer a luxury; it's essential. With the Galaxy S26, Samsung continues to push the boundaries of mobile photography and videography with innovative camera technology designed to help users capture life's best moments with exceptional clarity and stability.

Samsung has long been recognised for redefining what smartphone cameras can achieve, continually introducing innovations that make advanced photography and videography accessible to more users. The Galaxy S26 series continues this tradition by combining powerful camera hardware[1] with artificial intelligence (AI)-driven enhancements that help users capture stunning results regardless of their experience level[2].

Among the standout camera innovations available on both the Galaxy S26 is Super Steady[3] Video with Horizontal Lock, an intelligent feature that combines advanced AI processing with the ultra-wide camera lens4 to deliver remarkably smooth and stable video footage, even when conditions are less than ideal.

Whether you're filming while walking through a busy street, documenting an outdoor adventure, capturing a kiddies’ party, or recording a memorable family vacation, Super Steady Video works behind the scenes to minimise unwanted shake and movement, helping users create professional-looking videos with ease.
Capture Every Moment Confidently with the Galaxy S26

Stability Built for the Way We Create Today
The rise of social media, vlogging, livestreaming, and short-form video content has transformed how people capture and share their experiences. Content creators are increasingly looking for tools that can deliver professional-quality results without requiring additional equipment.

With Super Steady Video2, Galaxy S26 users can confidently shoot on the move without needing bulky stabilisers. Leveraging AI-powered motion analysis and the expansive view offered by the ultra-wide lens[4], the feature intelligently compensates for movement in real time, helping creators focus on storytelling rather than worrying about shaky footage.

From fitness influencers filming workout content to travel creators documenting their latest adventures, users can record smoother videos that feel polished and cinematic straight from their smartphone.

Keeping Every Frame Perfectly Aligned
Super Steady2 comes with Horizontal Lock, a feature designed to keep footage level and aligned even when users unintentionally tilt their device while recording.

Anyone who has ever watched a video that slowly drifts off-angle understands how distracting uneven footage can be. Horizontal Lock helps maintain a straight horizon, creating a more professional viewing experience and reducing the need for time-consuming editing afterwards.

Imagine capturing a breathtaking ocean sunset while walking along the shoreline, filming a road trip through winding mountain passes, or recording your child's first bicycle ride. Horizontal Lock helps ensure the horizon remains balanced and visually appealing, allowing users to focus on enjoying the moment while the Galaxy S26 handles the technical details.

For content creators, this means more consistent footage and greater creative confidence. For everyday users, it means vacation videos, family memories, and spontaneous moments look polished enough to share instantly with friends and loved ones.

Not every video is destined for social media fame, but every memory deserves to be captured beautifully, and Galaxy S26 users can trust Samsung's camera innovation to deliver smooth, stable and visually impressive footage.

With Super Steady Video powered by AI and the ultra-wide camera, alongside Horizontal Lock, Samsung is making it easier than ever for users to create videos that look professional, feel immersive, and remain true to the moment. Because when life moves, your camera should move with it, not against it.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd today announced the all-new Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9[1], delivering a new era of health monitoring, where users can unlock in-depth, meaningful health insights simply by wearing these devices. To support constant wearability, Samsung delivers powerful innovations that maximise comfort while advancing performance with Galaxy Watch’s largest battery and brightest display ever, as well as the Snapdragon Wear® Elite Platform[2]. Serving as Samsung’s ultimate gateway to artificial intelligence (AI)-driven health intelligence, this groundbreaking premium lineup transforms complex biometric data into personalised, actionable guidance across the full spectrum of user health.

"Samsung is committed to helping people live better. We want to make the shift from reactive treatment to proactive care as seamless as possible. By integrating everyday devices with our global scale, we’re building a deeply connected health experience,” said TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer, President and Head of the Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics. "The new Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 represent a massive leap forward in Samsung's health vision. By continuously tracking health data from the wrist, these new watches act as a vigilant health companion, turning daily vital signs into proactive, actionable insights and providing timely alerts."

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9: Your Health Companion on the Wrist

Galaxy Watch Ultra2: Fueling Ambitions and Enabling Peak Performance Through Unrivaled Hardware and Specialised Sports Tracking
Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is Samsung’s most powerful and advanced Galaxy Watch ever. It is built for extreme outdoor adventures and high-performance seekers who demand long-lasting performance, reliable durability, precision tracking and continuous health monitoring in extreme conditions.

Galaxy Watch Ultra2’s dedicated tracking modes for outdoor sports help users excel and safely push their limits. The Trail Run[3] feature tracks detailed elevation, climbing progress and terrain impact so users can better pace themselves and reduce injury risk. It also provides real-time hydration guidance through Nutrition Alert,[4] a new addition to the existing Sweat Loss feature. By estimating sweat loss relative to body weight, it provides guidance on when and how much to hydrate, helping users achieve their running goals.

Galaxy Watch Ultra2 also supports professional diving. Rated IP69K, 10 ATM and EN13319 certified,[5] it's not just dust- and water-resistant — it's dive-ready. The moment the user enters the water, it can automatically track real-time diving data such as depth, time and water temperature right from their wrist.[6] Moreover, users can access advanced diving features, including ascent/descent speed tracking and safe dive limits, by using the exclusive Ultra2 Diving app expected to be available later this year. Developed with Mares[7], the world’s leading diving equipment brand, these features significantly enhance the watch's diving capabilities.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9: Your Health Companion on the Wrist

To power these pro-level sports health features, Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is built with unprecedented hardware performance. It is equipped with a massive 800 mAh battery — a 35% increase in capacity compared to the previous Ultra model. Powered by the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform, it establishes a new benchmark in power, speed and highly accurate GPS tracking for the Ultra line. The expanded display provides Samsung’s first smartwatch with 5,000 nits of brightness,[8] making clear visibility possible even under intense sunlight.

Galaxy Watch Ultra2 retains its shock-resistant titanium casing to help ensure rugged durability, while also introducing enhanced comfort and stability for a broader, more diverse range of users. Despite a significantly larger battery, Galaxy Watch Ultra2 achieves an innovative slimmer[9] design that transitions seamlessly from rugged outdoor and sports activities to everyday lifestyle use. Advanced internal re-engineering significantly reduces the device’s thickness by 12% compared to the previous generation. Coupled with lighter and softer bands that reduce weight, Galaxy Watch Ultra2 delivers continuous wearability, highly precise biometric data tracking and exceptional comfort.

Galaxy Watch9: Everyday Wellness With All-Day Comfort and a Lasting Battery
Galaxy Watch9 is Samsung’s ultimate everyday health companion, designed for wellness-conscious users who want to build healthier habits through effortless, continuous activity and sleep tracking. This versatile watch turns personal biomarkers into actionable health insights, empowering users to effortlessly manage their daily routines by simply wearing it.

To maximise its role as a health companion, Galaxy Watch9 is backed by powerful hardware and an incredibly comfortable design. It features a lightweight yet durable aluminum casing that preserves Galaxy Watch’s signature cushion silhouette, refined specifically for a closer, more natural fit on the wrist. Combined with a wide range of interchangeable, soft-touch bands, Galaxy Watch9 helps ensure unmatched all-day comfort — enabling the continuous wear required to help capture accurate and consistent health data.

This exceptional wearability is powered by next-generation internal innovations. The new Snapdragon Wear Elite platform gives Galaxy Watch9 a massive boost in speed and efficiency for lag-free, seamless health monitoring. Its efficient 390 mAh battery[10] delivers dependable, around-the-clock tracking from day to night. Furthermore, a brilliant 3,000-nit display supports effortless readability and visibility under diverse lighting conditions, making it easy for users to check their health status at a glance.

AI-Powered Health: Comprehensive and Actionable Health Insights
At the core of Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 are Samsung’s AI-powered health features. Galaxy Watch’s BioActive sensor captures continuous biometric data about a user’s lifestyle habits to develop a deep understanding of their health. Galaxy Watch then translates this complex biometric data into simple, proactive recommendations, helping users understand not just what is happening in their bodies, but what to do next.

The new capabilities — available on both Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 — advance Samsung’s preventive care vision by combining everyday data with years of rigorous clinical research conducted with world-renowned universities and medical institutions. Built on this foundation, Galaxy Watch is designed to deliver more accurate and meaningful health guidance across key pillars including sleep, activity, cardiovascular health and recovery.

Sleep Apnea feature[11]: Backed by new FDA clearance and AI algorithms, delivers deeper insights into breathing disruptions during sleep.

Vitals[12]: Proactively monitors a user’s personal health baseline during sleep and provides seamless alerts for significant deviations.

Five Reasons Why Storage Modernisation Is a Smart Business Priority by Habib Mahakian

Hi Guys,

The conventional case for storage modernisation often focuses on the benefits of upgrading to a new environment. A stronger case starts with understanding the cost of staying in the current one. That cost is growing fast and is less visible in day-to-day operations. Making it visible is what turns a modernisation conversation into a compelling business case.

What is the real cost of enterprise storage inaction?
As data volumes grow and AI workloads scale, the role of storage becomes more central to business performance. Without ongoing modernisation, technical debt can begin to accumulate at the storage layer, creating a gradual gap between evolving business needs and infrastructure capability. This challenge typically shows up across five areas:

1: Operational complexity that grows as workloads evolve
Every quarter that organisations run AI workloads on infrastructure not originally designed for them, the gap between capability and business requirement can widen. This can slow the pace of adoption while increasing pressure on security and compliance. Industry research shows that many businesses are already shifting a significant share of application spend towards modernisation. At the same time, layering new workloads onto existing environments can increase complexity over time, making a more structured approach increasingly important. Acting earlier helps manage this transition more efficiently and avoid unnecessary overhead costs.

2: Deferred modernisation creates complexity that does not need to exist
The longer storage modernisation is deferred, the more inter-connected the environment becomes. Legacy storage often sits alongside newer systems, creating additional data relationships, integrations and compliance dependencies over time. What could be a structured refresh can evolve into a more complex programme if left too late. Enterprises that act earlier are typically able to move faster, with less disruption and more predictable outcomes.

3: Widening resilience exposure in a higher-stakes regulatory environment
Environments designed for earlier resilience expectations may not fully align with today’s recovery requirements. In South Africa, regulators such as the Prudential Authority and the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) are raising the bar for documented recovery capability through frameworks like Joint Standard 2 of 2024 on Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience, and the Operational Risk and Resilience Standards. These requirements mirror global developments such as NIS2 and DORA in Europe.

Five Reasons Why Storage Modernisation Is a Smart Business Priority by Habib Mahakian

Businesses running legacy infrastructure are increasingly being asked to close gaps they did not plan for and cannot close quickly. Addressing these through modernisation can help strengthen resilience while supporting evolving regulatory needs, ensuring compliance with both local standards and international expectations.

4: Climbing energy costs on infrastructure built for a different era
Ageing storage consumes more energy per unit of useful work than modern alternatives. Global data centre electricity demand rose 17% in 2025 and total data centre power is projected to double by 2030 according to the IEA – corresponding with South Africa’s explosive rise in data centre electricity demand. For businesses with sustainability priorities, improving storage efficiency is becoming an important benefit that can help reduce energy intensity while supporting performance and scale.

5: Engineering talent locked into maintaining existing environments
Specialist teams often spend a lot of time maintaining and optimising existing environments. While this work is critical, it can limit the time available for innovation and new ideas. As demand for skills grows, freeing up engineering capacity becomes increasingly valuable. Modernisation can help shift focus from maintenance to supporting business priorities.

Why the ROI case for storage modernisation starts before the migration
Storage modernisation is no longer a capital expenditure decision. It is a competitive strategy decision that supports performance, resilience and efficiency across the business. For many South African organisations, the question is shifting. It’s not only about where storage modernisation delivers value, but about how to approach it in a way that aligns with broader transformation goals. Acting earlier can help businesses stay ahead of demand, reduce complexity over time and build a stronger foundation for future workloads.

What Makes the HUAWEI nova 15 Max One of the Smartest Smartphone Buys of the Year?

Hi Guys,

South Africans have become experts at doing mental maths. Every trip to the petrol station comes with a moment of disbelief. The grocery bill somehow climbs higher despite the trolley looking suspiciously similar to last month's. Electricity, insurance, school fees, data, subscriptions. It often feels as though the cost of simply getting through the month keeps finding new ways to increase.

As South Africans become more selective about their technology purchases, devices such as the HUAWEI nova 15 Max are helping to redefine what value in a smartphone really means. Starting at R7 999, the smartphone combines an 8500mAh battery, durable construction, advanced photography features and a HUAWEI Added Value Pack worth up to R7 596, challenging the assumption that consumers need to spend more to get more from their devices.

As a result, consumers are becoming increasingly selective about where they spend their money. They're asking tougher questions, comparing options more carefully and looking beyond flashy marketing promises to understand what they're really getting for their hard-earned rand.

Smartphones are no exception.

The era of paying more for less
Over the past few years, smartphone prices have steadily climbed. Rising component costs, larger memory configurations and increasingly sophisticated technology have all contributed to pushing prices upwards.

Yet for many consumers, the experience hasn't always improved at the same pace.

Nobody buys a smartphone because it has a particular chip or memory specification. They buy it because they want a device that lasts all day, takes great photos, survives everyday life and helps them stay connected.

The challenge for manufacturers is finding ways to deliver those experiences without forcing consumers into premium price brackets.

What Makes the HUAWEI nova 15 Max One of the Smartest Smartphone Buys of the Year?

The features people actually care about
Ask most smartphone users what frustrates them and the answers are surprisingly consistent. Battery life runs out too quickly. Phones are expensive to repair after a drop. Cameras perform brilliantly in perfect lighting but struggle when life happens after sunset. Screens can be difficult to see outdoors.

These aren't glamorous problems, but they are the problems people experience every day.

That's why practical innovation is becoming increasingly important. Rather than chasing specifications for their own sake, many consumers are prioritising features that make a noticeable difference to their daily lives.

Why battery life has become a value feature
As smartphones have become our cameras, GPS devices, entertainment hubs and communication centres, battery performance has become more important than ever. A larger battery doesn't just mean longer usage. It means fewer charging stops, less reliance on power banks, and more confidence when travelling, working remotely, or spending long days away from home.

The HUAWEI nova 15 Max is a good example of this. Equipped with an 8500mAh HUAWEI Super Battery, it is designed to keep pace with modern lifestyles. Real-world testing shows it can support up to 23 hours of continuous video playback, while reverse charging allows the device to share power with compatible Huawei products when needed.

Getting more without spending more
The conversation around smartphone value is increasingly moving beyond price alone. Consumers still want excellent cameras, durable construction and immersive entertainment experiences. They simply want those features delivered in a way that feels accessible.

The HUAWEI nova 15 Max reflects that changing mindset. Its 50MP Ultra Vision Camera uses Huawei's advanced RYYB colour filter array to improve light intake by 40%, helping users capture brighter and more detailed images even in challenging lighting conditions. AI Best Expression helps refine group photos, while the Extra-durable Body combines SGS Premium Performance Mark 5-Star Drop Resistance certification with IP65 dust and water resistance.

The device also features a 6.84-inch OLED Eye Comfort Display with up to 4000 nits of dynamic peak brightness, making it easier to enjoy content indoors and outdoors alike.

These are the kinds of features that directly influence everyday ownership rather than simply looking impressive on a specification sheet.

Value isn't just about the price tag
South Africans have become skilled at spotting the difference between something that is expensive and something that is valuable. Those are not always the same thing. The HUAWEI nova 15 Max arrives at a time when many consumers are actively reconsidering what value means.

Starting at R7 999, the HUAWEI nova 15 Max combines one of the largest batteries in its category, advanced photography capabilities, durable construction and immersive entertainment features in a package designed around real-world use.

Customers also receive a HUAWEI Added Value Pack worth up to R7 596, including Unlimited Screen Damage Protection and HUAWEI FreeBuds SE valued at R1 499 at selected retailers.

Hi Guys,

As South Africa marks Women's Month, some of the country's most recognisable women are encouraging others to celebrate themselves, support one another and embrace the unique strengths that make them who they are.

As South Africa celebrates Women's Month, four remarkable South African women, broadcaster and author Carol Ofori, actress, entrepreneur and Tropika Island Of Treasure contestant Leandie du Randt, Jacaranda FM radio personality Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp, and dancer and creative Courtnaé Paul, are sharing the lessons that have shaped their lives.

Their words aren't about having all the answers. They're reminders to slow down, trust yourself, embrace your uniqueness and remember that success looks different for every woman.

Leandie du Randt: Stop Comparing Yourself to Everyone Else
Actress, entrepreneur and Tropika Island of Treasure contestant Leandie du Randt believes one of the greatest gifts a woman can give herself is permission to be exactly who she is. "Always show up as yourself. Don't compare yourself to anyone else because God has made you you for a reason, and there is no one who can bring to this world what you can."

She also hopes Women's Month inspires more women to champion one another instead of competing. "Women need to continue supporting other women. We are multitaskers, empaths, leaders. We can be soft but also incredibly strong, and that's something worth celebrating."

Her message is simple: collaboration will always achieve more than competition. "Let's keep standing together in collaboration over competition."

Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp: You Can't Build Tomorrow If You Don't Love Yourself Today
For Jacaranda FM presenter Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp, Women's Month offers more than a celebration. It's an opportunity to pause, reflect and reset. "I always ask myself: What do I still want to achieve this year? But I also take time to appreciate just how far I've come."

Whether balancing a broadcasting career, motherhood or everyday life, she believes women should spend less time criticising themselves and more time acknowledging their own growth. "One can't work on your better future self by not loving the one that you have today."

She believes self-love isn't selfish; it's essential. "No one becomes better in the future if they don't like what they're working with right now. Love yourself now so that you can work on your future self in a loving and beautiful way," the Jacaranda FM presenter continues.

Afrika-Bredenkamp also encourages women to keep giving generously. "We can't give with a closed hand, so open your hand so that you can give to others. From my experience, everything I give always comes back."

South African Stars Share the Advice They Wish Every Woman Could Hear This Women’s Day

Courtnaé Paul: Keep Colouring Outside the Lines
B-Girl, DJ and choreographer Courtnaé Paul believes the women who change the world are rarely the ones who follow the expected path. "Happy Women's Day to the women who colour outside the lines. The ones who challenge expectations, create opportunities where none exist, and remind us that progress has never come from playing it safe," Courtnaé says.

She celebrates women who continue to ask difficult questions, support one another and redefine what leadership looks like. "Today, we celebrate your resilience, your ambition and your willingness to leave the world better than you found it."

Her closing thought feels like the perfect Women's Month mantra: "Keep colouring outside the lines. That's where the magic happens."

Carol Ofori: Give Yourself the Same Grace You So Freely Give Others
For award-winning broadcaster and author Carol Ofori, strength isn't about pretending to have it all together. "Strength isn't only found in surviving hard seasons or going through tough times," she says. "Strength lies in giving yourself grace when you've made a bad decision or a mistake."

She believes women often become experts at forgiving everyone except themselves. "Strength lies in forgiving yourself, laughing, choosing yourself in situations, resting without guilt and choosing peace instead of trying to make everybody else happy."

While accountability remains important, Ofori says women should remember that being imperfect doesn't make them weak. "You deserve the same grace that you give every other person that's hurt you or done wrong to you. You're human, and you're allowed to make mistakes."

Although their journeys are different, the message these four women share is remarkably similar: Be kinder to yourself, stop measuring your success against someone else's, support other women, embrace change, even when it feels uncomfortable and never let your current circumstances convince you that they define your future, because Women's Month isn't only about celebrating the women who inspire us. It's also about reminding every woman that her own story, exactly as it is today, is still being written.

TCL Opens First South African Experience Store at Cedar Square

Hi Friends,

Global consumer electronics brand TCL has opened the doors to its first TCL Experience Store in South Africa, bringing the brand's latest innovations under one roof at Cedar Square in Fourways, Johannesburg.

The new store marks a significant step in TCL's growth strategy for the South African market and is designed to change the way consumers discover, experience and shop for technology. Rather than simply browsing products online or viewing them in a traditional retail environment, visitors to the TCL Experience Store can interact directly with the brand's latest innovations, test products in person and speak to knowledgeable experts before making a purchase.

South Africa is considered a strategic market for TCL globally, making the launch of the first TCL Experience Store in the country a natural next step in the brand's local growth journey. The store is intended to build greater awareness of TCL's expanding portfolio while giving consumers a more personal and immersive way to experience the technology behind the brand.

"South Africa is an important market for TCL, and opening our first Experience Store here represents a significant milestone for the brand," says Alvin Wang, General Manager of TCL South Africa. "Technology is best understood when you can see it, touch it and experience it for yourself. We want consumers to be able to walk into the store, explore our products, ask questions and discover how our innovations can fit into their everyday lives. This is about creating a closer relationship between TCL and our customers, while giving them the confidence to make informed decisions."

The store will showcase TCL's growing range of consumer electronics and home appliances, including the brand's latest SQD-Mini LED televisions, offering visitors the opportunity to experience the technology first-hand.

Among the highlights are the TCL C7L and C8L television ranges, which feature the brand's latest advancements in Mini LED display technology, as well as a 98-inch SQD-Mini LED TV with Bang & Olufsen audio, combining a large-format cinematic viewing experience with premium sound.

Beyond television, the Experience Store will also showcase TCL's expanding home appliance portfolio. Visitors can explore the brand's latest AI-powered washing machines, including models featuring the world's largest drum available for a standard 24-inch front-load washing machine, alongside its range of air conditioners and refrigerators.

The move reflects a broader shift in the way consumers shop for technology, as increasingly sophisticated products can be difficult to fully appreciate through an online product page alone. By creating a physical space where customers can experience products in real-world settings, TCL aims to bridge the gap between online discovery and in-person decision-making.

"Consumers today have more choice than ever, but with that comes the need for better ways to understand what they're buying," Wang adds. "Whether it's seeing the difference that advanced Mini LED technology makes to a picture, experiencing the scale of a 98-inch screen or exploring the smart features built into our home appliances, there are things you can only truly appreciate when you experience them for yourself."

The TCL Experience Store at Cedar Square will serve as a destination for both existing TCL customers and consumers looking to discover the brand for the first time, offering hands-on product demonstrations, expert assistance and a closer look at TCL's latest technology.

The opening comes at an exciting time for TCL South Africa, with the brand continuing to expand its presence across the local consumer electronics market and bringing its latest global innovations to South African consumers.

The TCL Experience Store is now open at Cedar Square, Fourways.

Capture Without Limits. Share Without Barriers.

Hi Friends,

Samsung Galaxy S26 Brings Together Super Steady Video with Horizontal Lock and Seamless Sharing

Today's connected world means creating incredible content is only half the story. The other half is sharing it.

Whether it's a concert clip, a family celebration, a rare moment, or an important work document, people expect their technology to help them capture, create, and share without limitations. Yet for years, one of the biggest frustrations facing smartphone users has been the divide between mobile ecosystems. Sharing high-quality content between Android and iOS devices has often meant relying on third-party applications, compressed files, reduced image quality, or unnecessary extra steps.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 is helping to change that. By combining powerful camera[1] innovation with seamless content sharing capabilities, Samsung is delivering an experience that puts the consumer first. The result is a smartphone experience that allows users to create stunning, stable content and share it instantly across platforms without compromising quality.

Available on the Galaxy S26, Super Steady Video[2] with Horizontal Lock brings advanced video stabilisation technology to more users than ever before. Powered by intelligent artificial intelligence (AI) processing and enhanced by the ultra-wide camera lens[3], Super Steady Video helps minimise unwanted motion and shake, allowing users to capture remarkably smooth footage even while moving through dynamic environments.

Capture Without Limits. Share Without Barriers

Whether you're dancing at a weekend groove, recording a live performance at a concert, capturing action on a hiking trail, or documenting a family gathering, the feature works behind the scenes to deliver videos that feel polished, professional, and cinematic[4].

Horizontal Lock helps keep footage level and visually balanced throughout recording. By maintaining a straight horizon, users can create cleaner, more professional-looking videos without needing extensive editing afterwards. Together, these features ensure that every memory, every story, and every piece of content looks its absolute best.[5]

Creating beautiful content is important. Sharing it should be just as effortless. Today's social circles are diverse. Families, friends, colleagues, and collaborators don't all use the same devices. One person might use Android while another prefers iOS. Yet the moments they share belong to everyone.

That's why Samsung has embraced a more connected approach to sharing. With AirDrop compatibility available on the Galaxy S26, users can transfer photos, videos, and documents directly to nearby Apple devices quickly and conveniently, helping remove barriers between ecosystems[6].

Imagine capturing well-stabilised footage at a music festival using Super Steady Video and Horizontal Lock. Moments later, you can share the original high-quality video directly with your friend using an iPhone sitting next to you. No messaging applications or complications.

For content creators, quality is everything. Every frame, every colour, every movement contributes to the final story. Creators invest significant effort into ensuring their content looks polished and professional, making it frustrating when sharing platforms or file transfers compromise the quality of their work.

With the Galaxy S26, creators can confidently record smooth footage using Samsung's advanced camera technology1 and then share it instantly while preserving the quality they worked so hard to achieve.

The benefits extend far beyond social media and lifestyle content. Modern professionals regularly collaborate across different devices and operating systems. Teams exchange presentations, contracts, spreadsheets, images, videos, and project files every day. By making cross-platform sharing easier, Samsung is helping streamline productivity for working professionals who need information to move quickly between Android and iOS devices.

The Galaxy S26 demonstrates Samsung's vision for a more connected mobile experience by combining intelligent camera innovation with seamless sharing capabilities. Because the best content deserves to be shared, and the best experiences shouldn't depend on what smartphone everyone else is carrying.

Capture Your South Africa, Your Way: New 5G HUAWEI Pura 90s Series delivers a 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera

The HUAWEI Pura 90s Series doesn't just elevate and improve smartphone photography. It also marks the return of 5G connectivity to Huawei flagship smartphones in South Africa, giving users faster downloads, smoother streaming and quicker sharing of the moments that matter most.

"South Africans are a passionate nation and nowhere is that passion more evident in how they capture and share life's most meaningful moments, whether they're travelling, enjoying the outdoors, supporting their favourite teams or celebrating with family and friends," said Jerry Wang, Vice President, Huawei Consumer Business Group South Africa. "The HUAWEI Pura 90s Series was created to help people preserve those moments exactly as they remember them. This launch represents an important milestone for Huawei in South Africa. Not only does it introduce our most advanced flagship camera system yet, but it also marks the return of 5G connectivity to our flagship smartphone portfolio. Together, these innovations create a faster, smarter and more connected experience for our customers, where we are giving them a phone series that delivers the ability to capture extraordinary moments and share them faster than ever before."

Photography without compromise
At the heart of the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series is Huawei's most advanced imaging system yet, designed to deliver exceptional results across every shooting scenario.

Leading the lineup, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max features an industry-leading 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera, establishing a new benchmark for long-range photography. Whether capturing wildlife from a distance, photographing sporting moments or recording live performances, users can capture remarkable detail with outstanding clarity and stability.

The camera system is further enhanced by chip-level 200MP RAW real-time processing technology, enabling remarkably crisp 20x telephoto video recording, while CIPA 7.0 image stabilisation minimises handheld blur, delivering sharper, steadier results, even in challenging shooting conditions.

The series also introduces True-to-Colour Camera 2.0, delivering a 43% improvement in colour accuracy and a 34% wider colour gamut, faithfully reproducing scenes with vibrant, true-to-life colours whether photographing golden sunsets, city skylines or everyday family moments.

Huawei's latest intelligent photography tools further simplify the creative process. AI Composition acts as a real-time photography assistant, recognising portraits, landscapes and architecture while providing intelligent framing guidance. AI De-glare removes unwanted reflections from windows, glass and display surfaces while preserving natural skin tones and fine detail. Meanwhile, AI Move allows users to reposition or duplicate subjects within an image while seamlessly reconstructing backgrounds and matching lighting for natural-looking results.

A design inspired by colour and expression
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Series is as distinctive in appearance as it is in performance. Guided by Huawei's Rhythm of Colour design philosophy, the series embraces a refined flat-edged design that draws inspiration from changing light, landscapes and everyday experiences, creating a clean, sophisticated aesthetic across the range.

The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max is available in Blush Gold, inspired by the first light of dawn; Blaze Purple, evoking the beauty of twilight in bloom; and Graphite Black, reflecting the quiet depth of the cosmos. Each finish captures a different moment in nature, bringing Huawei's Rhythm of Colour design philosophy to life.

For users looking for a lighter, more playful aesthetic, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro is available in Orange Soda, Coconut White and Mulberry Black, combining refreshing, holiday-inspired colours with a clean, contemporary finish.

Built for the everyday life you live
A flagship smartphone needs to do more than take exceptional photographs. It needs to perform wherever life takes you.

The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max features Anti-Reflection and Scratch-resistant Kunlun Glass, reducing screen reflections by up to 70% to improve visibility outdoors while also offering enhanced scratch resistance and helping minimise fingerprint smudges. Whether checking directions in bright sunlight or reviewing photographs outdoors, users can enjoy a clearer, more comfortable viewing experience.

The HUAWEI Pura 90s Series also introduces Huawei's all-new system-level AI assistant, Celia, which provides smarter, more intuitive everyday interactions and helps users complete common tasks more efficiently.

Powering the series is a 6000mAh battery, delivering dependable all-day performance across the lineup. The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro supports 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge, while the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max supports 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge, allowing users to spend less time charging and more time creating, capturing and connecting.

Marking the return of 5G connectivity to Huawei flagship smartphones in South Africa, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series combines Huawei's decades of communications innovation with faster upload and download speeds, stronger signal performance and a smoother mobile experience. With 5G streaming high-definition content, joining a video call, navigating on the move or uploading high-resolution photos and videos, you can capture with Master Zoom and share with Max Speed, staying connected with greater speed and confidence wherever 5G coverage is available.

Now is Your Moment
From unforgettable encounters and spectacular landscapes to those everyday moments that define life in South Africa, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series has been designed for the moments people never want to miss.

Bringing together industry-leading imaging, intelligent AI photography, sophisticated design, 5G connectivity and dependable everyday performance, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series represents Huawei's latest vision for the flagship smartphone experience, giving users the confidence to capture every moment exactly as they experienced it.
