Yoga for You With @ZeeTVAfrica This #19June #Health

This Yoga month, Zee TV Africa in conjunction with High Commission of India Pretoria and the Consulate General of India in Johannesburg, Durban and Capetown, and brings you, International Day of Yoga 2016. The Day of Yoga will be held in venues all across South Africa over the weekend of the 18th and 19th of June 2016. 

This form of exercise that birthed in India thousands of years ago is now recognised all over the world and has given many people a new lease on life due to its various benefits. 

Yoga is a practice of physical, mental and spiritual discipline. Yoga helps one with, increased flexibility, muscle strength and tone, improved respiration, energy and vitality, maintaining a balanced metabolism, weight reduction, cardio and circulatory health, improved athletic performance, protection from injury and not to mention, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Every morning at 6am our viewers all over Africa are graced with our ‘Yoga for you’ programme which showcases well redound Yoga instructors giving yoga lessons on air which one can enjoy in the comfort of their own homes and have a brilliant start to their day. Zee TV Africa is proud to bring this live day of Yoga to our African shores in hopes of sharing this wonderful practice with our African audience.

On the 19th of June 2016 the International Yoga Day event will be held in Durban at the Amphi Theatre (8am – 10:30am), in Johannesburg at Zoo Lake (8am – 10:30am), in Midrand at the Sagewood School (10:30am – 12:30 pm), in Laudiam at the Seva Samaj Hall (9:30 – 11:30am) and on the 18th of June 2016 in Capetown at the Samaj Centre in Gatesville (8:30am – 10:30am).

The day will see hundreds of people from all walks of life come together with one common goal, to promote their love for Yoga. The Yoga routines that the participants practice on the day will be done all over the world during the same times.
