Experience The “La Dolce Vita” (Sweet Life) @MontecasinoZA 6-8 May #Italy in #Jozi @TsogoSun

Hi Guys,

“As with all good things in Italy, this is a festival to be savoured slowly! Come hungry, take your time, and invite friends and family to join you. It’s like that old Italian proverb says, “First we eat, then we do everything else!” – Glenn Joseph Montecasino

Great Italian style, passion, food and wine will be showcased at Montecasino in an all-encompassing ‘Made in Italy’ Festival from 6 to 8 May. Entrance is free and the idea behind the spectacular is to give visitors the very best that Italy has to offer without the cost of a plane ticket!

A definite feast for the eyes and taste buds are the live cooking demonstrations and tastings with celebrities and renowned chefs such as MasterChef South Africa judge, Benny Masekwameng, and the first winner of Master Chef South Africa, Deena Naidoo.

There is no doubt that an Italian Festival at Montecasino is a match made in heaven. Where else can you enjoy a Peroni lounge and movie screenings on the Piazza under a canopy of stars or spend time exploring the various stalls offering Italian specialties, such as antipasto, coffee, delectable cheeses, pasta making, a deli, fragrances and more.

Meander along the cobbled walkways and watch this Tuscan village come to life with live entertainment and buskers, all keeping to the Italian theme of course. Also on offer are Italian dining experiences at participating restaurants. Whether you’re a connoisseur or novice appreciator of wine, the Made in Italy Festival is a place to come and relish the fruit of the vine at the various wine tasting spots throughout the property.

Ferrari Show Day now also forms part of the ‘Made in Italy’ Festival. A highlight on the SA Ferrari community’s calendar showcasing the best of Italian engineering, more than 80 of the top South African-owned Ferrari’s – from the oldest models through to the top of the range machines will take over the Outdoor Events Area on the last day of the festival.
